It was a total disappointment, a shock more precisely. If you want to sell a relatively small cheesecake for $55, it should at least be well made and tastes good. I wanted to get a cake for my friend's birthday dinner. A quick online search led me to the "cheesecake bar" in Gatineau. I got there, and picked up the ferrero rosher cheesecake upon recommendation by the staff who were nice and welcoming. To my utter embarrassment it was horrendous as when cut, it did not resemble anything of what a cheesecake should taste and look like. The texture was grainy and messy and the taste was so sour and unpleasant. Honestly, I haven't seen or tasted a cheesecake that weird before, it was so curdled to the point of being visually appalling. I hate to give bad reviews, but what I hate more is to spend $55 on a simple cake, which instead of being enjoyable and tasty, it was so bad that it left me feeling embarrassed and scammed. Terrible experience and waste of money.

Our first time to try their cheesecake was a month ago and boy it was super delicious. My wife and I ordered the 6” funfetti cheesecake. It was so good that I decided to buy another one for mother’s day. We bought the 8” cookie dough cheesecake and was super disappointed how they made it. I myself know how to make a very fantastic cheesecake (can’t do one now because we have our little one 👶🏻) and I know they made ours NO BAKE STYLE!!! I am very disappointed that this one for sure is unbaked! The oreo cookie base is super thin and can see some hollow parts/gaps inside the cake. Thus, it’s for sure no bake or it was underbaked. No excuse to make an awful batch during a busy mother’s day.. $54.99 is not worth it if you have this kind of a cheesecake.

The cheesecake bar is somewhat hidden inside Pizza Express. Cheesecake was alright, nothing special but good. The coffee wasn’t as great though. Our mocha was cold and the regular coffee didn’t have a rich taste at all.

Too many variety of cheesecakes. Most if them are delicious. The best one is cinnamon. Nice too try but it is far far away. I might come back if i visit the Gatinue again. The woman who welcome us is very kind and helpful.

For my birthday, I asked to try a special cheesecake place in Gatineau called LCB, Le Cheesecake Bar. Locally owned, this little chain of bakeries specializes in make mini cheesecakes, baked goods and different coffees/lattes. Jayla and her parents opened LCB 2 years ago as an addition to the Pizza Express, which they also own. The inside was very cute and it smelled amazing! As an extra little surprise my sister got me a peanut butter cup cookie. Everything was very delicious, the cheesecake was creamy and just sweet enough. And the cookie was a perfect treat for that peanut butter lover. If you are looking for a little place to enjoy a mini cheese cake and coffee, this is a must try! #supportlocal #ottawafoodiestalker

First time trying out their cheescake, we were met by a very nice young lady, she was patient and helpful while we were deciding which cake to pick, she recommended the Biscoff cheese cake..and it was really good. Would definitely goo back there to try the other flat

The eclairs wasn’t fresh plus too sweet. The brownies were good though! Cheesecakes were decent as well.

Made a new review to update pics. We ordered 4 different flavours of 8" cheesecakes for our wedding. Cannoli, peanut butter chocolate, carrot cake, and cookie dough. They were all amazing!! Everyone was saying it was the best cheesecake they've ever had, and were all asking where we got it from. We even shared some with the servers we had, and they too wanted to know exactly where we got them. We will be buying from Le Cheesecake Bar anytime we crave cheesecake or have a special occasion.

Easy to miss this coffee shop mecca, don’t let the building exterior fool you. A worthwhile stop to treat yourself, plenty of dopamine satisfying choices to indulge. Interior has a cool vibe. Friendly and clean.

Ordered cheesecakes for my partner's birthday, they were so well presented and absolutely delicious (we couldn't wait to take a picture XD). The service was phenomenal, the item I originally ordered wasn't available, and I was called immediately with options for substitutions. She even spoke with the delivery driver about my drop of details as the order was going way faster than the ETA and I was still at work. 10/10 would recommend, will be going there for all future birthdays!
