Every Saturday we run on the bike path. It’s incredibly peaceful and beautiful run. I would recommend this path for anyone looking to either bike, run or rollerblade for a while !

There is a small beach where you can swim and boat. In addition, you could also play basketball, volleyball, and various activities. Every Thursday at 9:30 in the morning, there is a farmer’s market open here, there is a large parking lot, you can park for free.

A really easy going location for some light outdoor adventures! Kids love coming here to dip there feet in the water and look for frogs and minnows ! Shallow waters near the shores . Bring a picnic and spend a couple hours enjoying its beauty.

It was awesome. There was "Zumba in the park" for free on Wednesdays at 7pm. I was able to park my car, walk with baby in the stroller and dance away. It was nicely organized with instructors and places for the people to dance. They had loud speakers so even though I danced in the back, I could hear the music. Great music selection too! 80s music, Salsa, Current pop music, etc. The instructors were energetic too. Next time I'll bring my husband and toddler. The park is very large. There's a community center building, baseball diamond, basketball court and two playgrounds with picnic tables everywhere. And it's right at the water. There is a beach and bike path too. Absolutely beautiful. I will go again ❤

Enjoying a peaceful stop out on the bicycle path at Parc Mousette. Reached 22c on this day. Let the path show more destinations...

This is a really nice, clean and scenic park. There is a jungle gym for the kids, basketball and tennis courts, lots of trees, a sandy beach and shoreline. It also connects to take that traverse the shoreline and lots of opportunities to see some wildlife. The walking path is quite easy, suitable for children, strollers and walking devices or wheelchairs.

Beautiful park , has an amazing beach facing the city. Kids play area , tennis courts bike lanes . 10 min from downtown Ottawa plenty of nice views and very peaceful. It wasn’t busy during covid time . No a bbq parc it is more going swimming and walking biking even going hiking off-road . I m pleasantly surprised I found this

You can find different kind of activities which are organized by "Ville de Gatineau" in this place, like live music, public sport courses, Etc. Also it has beach for swiming.

It's an amazing Park beside Ottawa river where you will have a great relaxation and will enjoy very nice views, along with long Pathways for walk or cycling. Very good choice for family picnic where the kids will have a lot of fun and many activities from slides, wing, Yards. And all this you will find it only in the best country in the world Canada 🇨🇦

Enjoy participating in the Saturday morning 5km park run/ walk! I really enjoy seeing families with their pets out and about in nature. Being so close to the water, while shaded by trees, makes for a lovely way to start the day

Consider it a good alternative to Marina Chelsea or Leamy Lake for a picnic. Its quieter, there's way more parking, a life-guarded beach, sports, facilities. The trail from it is historic so you can walk along the Ottawa River the way Jacques Cartier might have albeit in a more comfortable manner. The only thing it lacks is a small jetty for kayaks or rafts. Also if you want a decent bite you'll only find fast food restaurants

A nice park with lots of activities. Today was Colombian dancing. There always seems to be beach goers, families picnicking, cyclists, baseball, and yoga classes. A real gem!

I grew up on this beach... all my youth was spent here, my grand mother lives a street away there are so many nice spots to enjoy nature in that area. It will always have a dear place to my heart!

I thought it would be a good idea to go check out a different park with my kids, but when I got there I was disgusted! There was bird 🐦 droppings everywhere. We couldn't walk anywhere it was ALL over

Fossils at this location better and more plentiful than at any other location in North America...
