👍👍 Nice place to enjoy a long walk as the path goes on forever, so if you enjoy walking for 2-3 hours straight this is your area. But if you're going in Autumn make sure to bring some warm clothes cause it can get very chilli being near the water. People often mention park, river,

It's a hidden treasure to have this kind of statue in a public park. I was cycling long-distance, and stopping there gave me much-needed relief. The statue has some historical significance because many places are named Brébeuf, such as a nearby school.

You can’t go wrong with this nice location space along the Ottawa river. A great place to fish or hang out and meditate or whatever else you’re into. The scenery is a bonus. 👍☺️

A lovely little park on the banks of the Ottawa River and a place of historical importance. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I only recently visited for the first time. It won't be the last.

Amazing view of the city of Ottawa from French Canada alot of Garbage in this park but asides from that the upkeep is well maintained. I seen ducks and geese and the statues are cool to see

This park is truly a gorgeous little escape from it all, right along the river... It gives the serenity of nature and yet a measure of excitement with that river rolling on by. It homes a bike path that runs through it, extends to a beach, community center, play structures, volleyball facilities, and simple ample grass. Yet plenty of privacy and quiet spots too. There are loads of benches strewn about, and a very nice statue dedicated to Jean de Brébeuf, after whom of course it is named. (For anyone interested in history, Jesuit-Catholic or other). I often bring my kids here now that I am grown, but like to come alone sometimes to stroll down memory lane. One can appreciate also the rising water levels from here in Springtime too, awe inspiring and spooky as that truly can seem. This place is great though, to walk through, bike or rollerblade, to sit and meditate on life, to chill with friends and family, or do some sports or even swim. A lovely place indeed. And there are shops and restaurants nearby should you be in need. One of my favorite places to go.

This is such an amazing space. You can do many things here, but the best thing you can do here is listen to the water flow by along the shore. It's simply astonishing.

Beautiful spot. Clean park, lots of facilities for everyone (bike/walking paths, washrooms, canteen, beach, playground). Great view over the river and sets of rapids.
