Such a cute place! I love studying here because its quaint, has great coffee and tea, and really chill music. The decor is definitely unique and I seem to notice something different whenever I go. The cookies are delicious. The only criticism is that its a on the more pricey side and I wish it was open later! Highly recommended!

It's a very nice cafe to work, study or just relax at. The employes are friendly and the food is good too. Love this place!

Great coffee. Service is however terrible. I encountered a rude barista whom was clearly disinterested. She was more interested in chatting with her colleagues than anything else. Very disappointing.

The good coffee experience, Café British is true hidden gem in Aylmer. This Café is not only about coffee it offers various delicious breakfast sandwiches and popular for parfait it serves.

Amazing place to spend some quality studying time, make sure to bring your headphones if noise tends to distract you. The green smoothie was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly. Tip: free unrestricted parking can be found on the side streets.

Best coffee place in town. We had a latte with a butter and almond croissants. Terrific atmosphere and at the table service. Plenty of parking.

Nice breakfast sandwiches/pastry, always a good assortment of cafe delicacies, good lunch options, good coffee. Located in the heart of main street Aylmer, Cafe British has been my remote working location when I don’t feel like spending the day in my home office.

Lovely place, I really enjoyed chilling there, nice atmosphere. My black coffee was a little cold unfortunately, maybe set a timer on the coffee pot ?

Great reading spot near the front windows - probably their best asset Service is mediocre Picked up a cappuccino - the espresso is bitter, definitely do not recommend espresso-based beverages

Probably my favourite Cafe in Gatineau. Very cosy and comfortable. Love working from here(great wifi). Super friendly staff. 💯 Recommend

I live nearby and this is such a cute little spot so I'll give it 4 stars! I would love to rate it better for quality and service but it is expensive for what you get and the service could be better. Eg. Today I spent $35 for two sandwiches, a pastry, and drip coffees. I ordered the turkey, brie and crossiant sandwich which sounded good in theory however it had no veggies, mayo or other dressing on it. It unfortunately didn't have much taste and could of used some cranberry or honey mustard, veggies or something for the price. After paying, I asked for the pastry I just ordered 2 seconds prior and I was told I had not paid for it however the barista had confirmed our order back to us. My partner and I then had our sandwiches and coffees in hand about to sit down outside when we were told to come back to the busy line to pay for the second sandwich. So much confusion over a very simple order, but hard to imagine parting with $35 for the service and quality I got there. To end on a positive note, the cafe does offer some gluten-free options which is awesome to see on the menu.

Really enjoyed spending time here. I had a few hours to spend while my significant other was at a private seminar. So I came here had some food and a coffee and hung out and read and did some writing. Very pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was super nice.

This is my new favorite Café! It's close to home, has good humoured, friendly staff, great atmosphere and the best Lattes in Aylmer. Shhhhh don't tell too many people or I'll never find a spot to sit. 😊

Comfortable cafe. Had a cappuccino, which was in the small size for the price but was good. The bench seats could use some reupholstering as they're falling apart.

Cute coffee shop with lots of drink options. My latte was quite good but my boyfriend's maple pecan latte was just too sweet. I would compare it to drinking straight maple syrup with a taste of pecan... We went in a busy Saturday morning so we expected to wait, however a 45 minute wait time is frankly ridiculous. The two girls working there were lovely and doing their best but they couldn't handle the high volume of customers.

Cool coffee shop, with delicious drinks baked goods, and very helpful and friendly staff. The coffee shop has an amazing patio to the side of it, parking at the back, bar adjacent to patio if you want to enjoy drinks after

We got a couple of hot-chocolates, they were very good but a bit pricy.

Very bad service, so slow. They also do not understand french and the food is overpriced. I ordered a grilled cheese, piece of cake and two coffees and it came out to 34$. coffee was alright but the food was mediocre especially the grilled cheese. the part that bugged me was that it took 30minutes for my food to come while the café was not busy at all. the workers were laughing in my face when i asked them about my food.
