My family and I had an extended stay at this wonderful location! The building had an ample amount of parking with multiple accessible entrances that made it easy to get in and out. The room was so modern and clean. Special mention to their coat rack and bench to make storage and use easier. The bath room was also incredible. The breakfast and breakfast room was phenomenal. The breakfast room had so much room and we were also able to use it later as a hangout place outside of our room. Many other hotels DO NOT have this feature. Then the food! Great variety and great tastes! The free coffee available 24/7 was another display of customer service from this hotel. The staff was so nice! From the moment we got there they were so accommodating and always ensuring that the place was clean and sanitized.

I’m from Florida, it was a horrible experience. The manager Shantal charged one extra night , she supposed fix the charge, she told me that everything was updated but she never did it. She charged 2 of my credit cards. I asked her 2 times and she lied to me. Housekeeping never clean the rooms. My friend and I looking for towels every day in the hallway. The breakfast same every day it was so bored. The only thing good that I can say was the staff at front desk very kind and helped me we I needed except the manager Shantal so unprofessional e irresponsable. She was in the office all the time it was very thought speak with her. I left messages she never called me. Finally after many time that I was asking for her she went out to talk with me.

The receptionist at the front desk was not welcoming at all. We were initially given a room which was stinking very bad so we requested for another room. Before transferring us to another room very disrespectfully she said no discount will be given due to this issue. Actually we didn’t even ask for a discount at all. Secondly she didn’t even have the courtesy to come upstairs to transfer us to another room. One of our friend’s family also checked in on same date along with us. My Friend’s spouse was six months pregnant, they went out to get something to eat at night. Upon their return, the receptionist refused to open the front door for them to enter the hotel stating safety issues. Pregnant women was standing outside and it was -15 C that day asking them to walk to the other side of the building to enter the hotel. Overall it was completely bad experience.

This is my first experience at staying in any Quebec Hotel. This hotel didn't disappoint. It is approximately 3 years old since 2023. It is clean , well organized. The beds are very comfortable, and the AC works like a charm. It was almost too cold and I loved it. There is plenty of entrances that can accommodate wheelchair accessibility. Five stars to all the hard working staff. And a big thank you to the lady in the restaurant that accommodated our breakfast despite being very close to closing time. Also important to note that this is a very quiet hotel and it looks like it's basically designed for people who are traveling through Quebec as it's very close to the highways and within a 10 minute drive to the Parliament buildings in Ottawa. I decided to stay here because it was quite a bit more affordable than all the other hotels that are within 10 minutes from the Parliament buildings in Ontario. You're stay here won't be disappointed. Trust your local five-star guide, hopefully this helps okay

We stayed at this property for 3 nights with a child and overall experience was a mixed bag. Here are the goods and the bad from our experience: Goods: (1) Free Parking (2) Clean Property (3) Comfortable Beds (4) Courteous and pleasing staff, i wanted to get some salt and pepper at night and the staff at the front went to the breakfast room and got some for me. (5) Free breakfast with a lot of options Bad: (1) Even though the staff is courteous and attentive, you wont get the service you have asked for. We stayed here for three nights and for two days continuously we have personally requested at the front desk for making our beds and cleaning the room but to our surprise, even though we were assured at the front desk, nobody made our beds or cleaned the room (check the photos of the garbage piled up for 3 nights). We did not leave anything on the beds as the staff requested and the do no disturb sign was also no on the door (2) Poor sound proofing in the rooms, you will hear other people walking or talking in the corridors at night or early morning (3) You will get exactly the same breakfast options every day you stay here. compared to other hotels they have some additional options but they are same every day. (4) The air conditioner even though its off, you will always hear a hissing sound out of it. It is manageable though, you get used to it in no time. Overall compared to the price, staff and the amenities this hotel was satisfactory but due to lack of cleaning the room and making the beds despite of requesting it religiously twice, two days in a row turned the matters sour. Having said that, I will not choose to stay here or any IHG property in the future.

Everything was great. Except having to clean my own room when I called and requested it to be cleaned. I even put my tag on the outside of the door, and I am assuming staff covered it with two more tags, just so there would be a "confusion ". The only thing I can say is Holiday Inn should make sure guests requests are met. ,

It was a great stay, we were there for 8 nights, our child was at gatineau hospital and mom and dad rotated in and out to shower and sleep. The crew at the front desk, and I feel bad for forgetting their names were super awesome, checked in on the babys condition with me every day as i arrived. Breakfast was good, room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Thank you.

Terrible service. Don't go there they will steal money from your card. I booked and paid 3 nights for my guest. I have an elite account. Never had any issues with any bookings at other hotels before. When my guest arrived, they double charged his card. Then the fun in it all is they charged $666cad for 3 nights instead of the $444cad I paid for when booking online. Management has been lying and playing with us since day 1. Till now, we are still waiting for them to sort it out. This is daylight robbery.

My little family and I really enjoyed staying here. The room fit us 3 well and beds were comfy. Continental breakfast was pretty good. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly and very attentive. I would recommend this place.

Decent rooms, very clean. Beds are comfortable. For a hotel offering an Included breakfast we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of choices. Only drawback was the noisy A/C unit. It "buzzes" even when we turned it off. Would stay again cause it is close to some awesome restaurants, shopping and close enough to Ottawa for museums, etc.

Stayed for 3 nights. Room was not properly cleaned, had to request to get room service near the end of the day. Overall good location, just disappointing for what I paid for, for the lack of cleaning in the room. ( bed was not made, NEW towels were put on the floor instead of on bathroom counter, and personal items were moved around when they weren't even in the way of cleaning process.) Overall good kind service at the front desk.

I stayed at Holiday Inn during the long weekend of Good Friday and Easter. We stayed at this hotel for 2 days. It was one of the best thing happened in during our visit in Ottawa. The checkin was smooth. The staff at the front office were very friendly. The lobby was super clean, quiet and well maintained. One of the lift was not working, but it was fixed next day. We booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were very spacious and clean. All essential supplies shown while booking were provided. There was also a mini fridge, microwave oven, a safe locker and a coffee maker. The room also had a comfy sofa and a work chair. Both familes enjoyed the stay at this place and we will defenitely stay here on our next visit. Some of the other hotels we checked didn't offer free parking and were charging extra $20-$25 only for parking and didn't had complimentary breakfast. But Holiday Inn had free self parking and nice complimentary breakfast which includes lot of options. The place is around 10Km from Ottawa, but it will take only 15 mins to Ottawa Parliament Hill. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Ottawa. Worth the money we spend. One small suggestion would be to put a floor mat or towel in front of the shower so that we wont wet the floor.

Rooms are basic but clean, sleek and new. Microwave, fridge and coffee maker all available in the room . Connecting rooms are available but, only king + sofa bedroom to a 2 Queen bedroom. Breakfast was good with a selection of cheese omelettes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, muffins plus your typical continental spread (cereals, breads, juices). Pool is a bit small, and no hot tub. Overall had a wonderful stay.

the check-in process and room cleanliness were the only redeeming part. The bed was super sinked in and barely gave me 3 hours of sleep combined with back pain the following day. Our coffee machine was broken and could not be fixed or replaced, and the only solution was to offer us terrible instant coffee from the common room. TVs are from the early 2000 era, with basic cable and are completely off center to everything in the room. The bed and sofa are at a 120 degree angle from the TV. We booked here because of the pool and EV charger which we desperately needed. Well, the pool was closed that day and the EV chargers (only 2 x level 2) were hogged from 3pm the previous day to 12pm the next day, with the staff providing no assistance whatsoever. Definitely a case of paid reviews that gives this hotel so much praise, would never return here at this price. Had to deduct another star because the room barely gets hot water at all, luke warm is all you will have. This is for a 250 suite btw, absolute joke!

It's a basic holiday inn. It has all the usual services and facilities - gym with a couple of machines and weights, a small pool, free breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, cereal, coffee, juice). You will not easily find an espresso or an omelette but what they have is acceptable. The location was not overly convenient for me but not a lot of trouble either - not much around and what is there usually means getting back into your car. The rooms are clean, comfortable enough, with a view of the road or parking kot. No complaints, but no extra stars either.

This hotel is nice. The staff were friendly and the check in process was easy. The hotel gym and pool were really nice and clean. The room was large and for the most part clean. The only thing I had an issue with is that the mini fridge had a bunch of food from the previous guest in it, the complimentary K cups had two used ones on the rack and the washroom smelt like cigarette smoke. For $200 a night, the cleaning service should have been better. Overall, was nice a place to stay.

Rooms were very loud. Hard wood floors made everything 10 times as loud. Heard everyone above and passing in hall. Frequently in hotels and this was one of the loudest. Staff was friendly and location was pretty close to Ottawa. But hard to overcome how loud the interior of hotel was all day.

BEWARE: rooms are advertised as having two queen beds and that is absolutely NOT the case. They have two double beds. When I went to the front desk to tell them, they stated that their hotels only have queens and kings. So we measured the beds and they were definitely double beds. When asked to be changed to two rooms with kings or two double beds, we were told they were fully booked for the night but that a manager would be in touch the following day, we received no follow up. We got back to our room the following day last 10:30pm so we were not able to go to the front desk for an update. Also the beds are not comfortable, you can feel the other person move and the beds are really noisy and creaky.

Had a great stay over the Christmas holidays. The hotel was clean, modern and bright. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed the included breakfast, especially the delicious little cinnamon buns. We will stay here again next time we're in town.

We stayed here only 1 night but it was very nice. The rooms are suprisingly big and the bed was super comfortable. It was also very clean The lady at the front desk made us check in earlier without any problem and even gave us free points with IHG. The had a lot of amenities such as a coffee machine and a mini fridge and a microwave and also a safe. The tv was nice and big and had a lot of channels in french and english. This hotel also has a nice pool and free breakfast The location is also very good, close to highway to go to ottawa, near a lot of restaurants and a mall. Highly recommend

Room was comfortable. They had the small fridge and microwave facility. Only service was like there is no service available in hotel. We had some A C issue. We called reception 5, 6 time no one came.

Pros: Loved the pet friendly room was carpet free and the bed was so comfy. The full breakfast was well done. Cons: the pet fee of $50 is the most expensive I’ve ever seen. I’ve never paid more than $25. The overwhelming perfume in the lobby is so strong that it gave me instant sinus pain and a headache. Not a good place for anyone with perfume allergies or asthma.. It smelled like someone sprayed a strong men’s cologne on absolutely everything!! Who even uses perfume in public areas anymore! So gross and nauseating… I had to hold my breath going in and out. For that reason I will never go back.

The room was exactly what I needed. It was clean and comfortable. However, when I arrived at the hotel, there was a line of 6 people before me and I waited 45 min or more. It was extremely long and I was looking forward to lying down after a long day of work. The girl at the front desk was on her own answering the phone and serving customers.... They need at least two people at the busiest times.

Good hotel. New and fresh. Terrible service. The breakfast place is just too small for the number of ppl they have rooms for. One keeps waiting for chairs and a table to sit. Food on the counter was running out and one would wait for eternity to have it replenished. Overall the space is not adequate for the size of the hotel. The food service area is in a corner and crammed and felt like a Newyork train station with everyone bumping into each other trying to go in & out of two doors to grab food. No option for lactose-free dairy. We stayed four days(three nights) and did not get cleaning despite requesting at the reception on the third day. All we got was a towel refresher and one-bed makeup. The second bed was left as is. Have two paid EV charging stations (great that they charge by usage and not time) Two more EV spots but only one slow free tinker charge outlet that is good to charge a cellphone only. The lady at reception when we checked in was least happy or interested to talk or answer any questions. Was on the phone with someone and took ages to get off when we reached. No welcome or sorry for the wait or even a smile to try and make it pleasant to have a guest. Staff the other day were pleasant to talk to.

Room was clean and breakfast was okay, although busy and disorganized. The shower in our room did not get very warm and was not a pleasant experience. The beds creaked loudly when anyone moved, which was not great for a room shared with 4 people. We needed an extra blanket, and my husband waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, as there was a note that they’d be back in 5. I was given no information or anything at check in when I spoke English.

On August 7th, 2023 after 9:00pm me and my family decided to try and book a room at the Holiday Inn, Gatineau location but did not have a good experience. Me and my brother walked in at first and spoke with the receptionist in English and as soon as my mother walked in wearing a head covering we noticed the tone that already wasn't too great after speaking English - had changed. The receptionist did not seem too fond of my mother wearing the head covering or the fact that we spoke English. She then advised us that there were no rooms available. We then used the public restroom available and double checked online and noticed that there was vacancy of 8 available rooms for 3 people. We went to go speak with the receptionist to advise her of this and the receptionist had walked away so we were unable to mention this. We felt that this was discriminatory which is very unfortunate as we have had a good experience at a different Holiday Inn location and as visitors coming from Toronto we hoped the experience would be the same. Disappointed.

Decent HIE. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Saw a couple of people working on maintenance and typically cleaning. Room was fairly clean but could use a little maintenance as the air conditioner made a squealing noise like a bearing going out. Only way to get it to stop was to turn the unit off at the plug. The floors are also hard (no carpet) so it's a bit louder to walk on. We were on the top floor so not sure what it sounds like if there is a room above you. Bedding was comfortable. Lots of options to eat around here within walking distance.

Very easy to find. I arrived at about 4pm and check in was fast. The place was very clean and I had a very beautiful view from my window. It was amazing! Breakfast was good and fresh. There is an indoor pool.

This was my 1st stop for my 5 day bike trip into Quebec. Best hotel we stayed at by far. Best price for what you got. Rooms were very clean. The breakfast selection was amazing. Lots of restaurants nearby. Would recommend my friends and others to stay here if in the Gatineau area.

great for holidays, clean and staff was very respectful. only thing would recommend is giving two fob keys instead of one for families with more people.

The staff were beyond lovely and very hospitable. The hotel was very clean and it was really nice that the pool was open and we could book in slots. Made our trip very comfortable!

I didn’t stay there, but I was able to check it out while my family was visiting. It is very clean and newly built, with beautiful, large rooms. Photos are of Suite 128. The large windows have great black out blinds. The hotel has a swimming pool, but it was at capacity (covid max 10 people). A light was flickering in the washroom.

Excellent staff, they were very kind accomodating and super helpful! The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was varied. We travelled with a baby and a toddler and they definitely made our stay nice and easy.

The clerk check us in early which we really appreciate. We did not get the room we originally wanted (king bed, got two queen beds) which is fine. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. I rated a 4/5 because one of the two elevator was broken, so there was traffic to go upstairs. We did not eat breakfast, it looked ok. There is a Premiere Moisson nearby, we recommend that if you can skip the protein.
