Location: Cafè de Loge is located not that far from the canal, from the University (15 minutes by foot) and in front of a tram station. It’s cozy and informal, warm. Different kinds of people feel at easy here: locals, students, families... it’s a nice place to rest and relax. The music is part if the atmosphere. Many plugs available! Food and drink: the beverages are good and tasty, though not expensive compared to the Belgian standards! Coffees are being served with a pastry (amazing!!!), which makes the break even tastier :) the coffee tastes really nice (I am Italian, so it’s really important for me :p ) Service: fast, efficient, polite and smiley :)

The cafe has a great selection of draft and bottled beers of high quality for a really modest price! But what makes this place more special is the people, from the friendly owners to the amazing stuff. The place feels more like a family or tribe than just a regular bar. It's certainly somewhere you want to come back to!

The vegan stew is the best in the world. Just don't ask the recipe because it is a secret. Great live music, great drinks and two owners who will melt your heart and make you feel like family!

Cosy and laid back cafe with lot of seating. English spoken and understood perfectly. Food is limited in choice but makes up in the taste. A lot of variety of beers, some wines and quite a lot of non alcoholic drinks also avaliable. We had a beer a tap and a trappist quadruple from the bottle and spaghetti bolognese, which tasted very nice. Total came out to be 18, which was pretty nice too.

We had a great time here! The people were really friendly and really know their products, they even asked for our preference and then let us taste different beers before ordering, promoting the local brands. They also have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, we had the Croque Monsieur and it was really good :) I strongly reccomend visting!

We really loved this place. A cafe with cozy atmosphere, very good music (there are also live acts at some evenings) and great service. You can find a good variety of beers (as in most places in Belgium) and a few tasteful dishes. The neighbourhood is also very nice. Quiet and with some nice cafes and bars.

We've been on the terrace upstairs on a sunny day with tea and coffee. It was very peaceful and chill. I like it !

I have been coming here for years now and it's my favourite bar with lovely beers and lovely people! Seems a bit fancy from the outside, but it's actually one of the more affordable places to get a drink and a simple yet delicious meal. There is free concerts on certain evenings and on Monday you can get some free 'boterhammen met préparé'. Try a gulden draak from the tap, and enjoy!
