« Luxury fries 🍟 » and well it is quite expensive. But I’d say it is worth it at least once. It is the price for exceptional fries 😉. The fries were absolutely delicious, and well cooked. They ask you to choose 2 homemade sauces. I took the béarnaise and 🤤. The chicken chunks were natural and tasty, as well as the other small snacks (croquettes). Their homemade iced tea are worth the try ! I also like the way things work : you queue to make your order and you get a buzzer. You find a place and sit with the drinks while waiting.

Great fries with a view! While the French may be falsely credited with their creation, a recurring theme with the French - see ballet, the Renaissance, Croissants, Creme Brulee, and mayonnaise, but I digress - when in fact it was the beautiful Belgians that invented it. This place has the most incredible variety of mouth-watering starchy splendor I've ever seen. The Goulash fries are life-changing, and we had two orders while we sat admiring the amazing view of one of Ghent's many canals.

Amazing French fries, it was quite busy inside but the food was definitely worth the wait. To be honest it is a bit a chaos the rows of people waiting and wanting to order so it is unclear where you should be.

Taste good but i don’t think it’s worth the price, too expensive. If you really expect fries with fancy toppings in a place surrounded by touristy site, then this place is ok. But if you want to experience the extraordinary Belgian fries, I believe there are many other places with much cheaper price.

I had the pleasure of trying the French fries at Frites Atelier, and they were truly the best I've ever had. The quality and flavor were outstanding, making it a memorable culinary experience. If you're a fan of French fries, this is a must-visit spot.

Congratulations on this place; the French fries here are among the most exquisite I have ever tried. They excel in the three essential aspects every French fry should have: size, crunchiness, and temperature. We opted for the basil and Parmesan, as well as the turkey delight. I highly recommend both of them! It's unfortunate that this place doesn't exist in Dublin; it would undoubtedly gain fame if it did.

Superb Frites and excellent toppings with fresh ingredients. Even the home made saaces are amazing. The croquettes taste amazing too. Great authentic Belgian cuisine. And very friendly staff too

Looks cool The food is okish, the fries are tasty but you end up feeling heavy. The burger was unique but not a top 10 burger. Overall, nice experience - if you want fries, this is probably one of the best spots.

Busy place, you have to wait while people are ordering. I loved the Belgian fries. Also the cheese burger was tasty.

The fries are superb! Big portions, great taste and quite large selection of choices. Great place to eat Belgian fries for the first time.

Super crispy fries. The beef stew fries is an interesting combination. It does make the fries a bit soggy, but still very good.

Absolutely delighted with the authentic Belgian frites at this establishment! The golden, crispy perfection of each fry is a testament to their commitment to quality. The rich flavors and excellent texture make it a delightful experience. cozy atmosphere add to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend for a genuine taste of Belgian culinary excellence!"

Greatest fries I tried in Belgium. Quite fast service. However, the place kind of felt like a fast food restaurant because the sauces machines weren’t working, they ran out of some etc

Fries are very greasy, got really full after having a small portion. It may just be me but I don't really enjoy the combination of parmesan and basil. Felt that I wouldn't want to have fries anymore after this. Quite disappointed as I have huge expectations to this restaurant launched by a Michelin chef.

Phenomenal fries! Lots of options. Including veggies ones. Line wasn’t too bad and you can order and wait with a buzzer for food to be ready. Great spot to lunch or grab a snack.

We were here to have Belgian fries as recommended by my friend. We bought special Belgian fries with parmesan and basil. The fries itself tasted good and crunchy. But the combination with basil and parmesan was not that good. The sauce as dip was not that great. I would just order the normal fries from here. One strange thing was even though we take out the food there is an option for tip(even though there is no service).

With its gourmet offering, Frites Atelier breathes life into the otherwise humble staple, marrying artisan flavours such as truffle, kimchi and Flemish beef stew with sinfully crispy and chunky fries. And just in case none of the menu options are up your alley, white ceramic pots of even more sauces await in the shop to confound customers further into indecision. Not for the faint-stomached.

I got the Flemish stew style frites with a beer. It was a little pricey, but they were deliciously crunchy throughout and seasoned well. The Flemish stew was good, but I wish there was more of it. If I were to go back I think I would order regular frites and just try the different sauces.

Fries are great. Crispy on the outside, silky smooth on the inside. It’s exactly what you want in an excellent fry

I don't review much but when I do it's something special. The cheeseburger was out of this world. My mind is still blown. Using whole pickled onions is a genius idea why have i not eaten a burger with whole pickled onions before. If you have a religion that doesn't allow you to eat this then you need to change your religion. This burger is that good.

There might be a lot of Belgian fry shops but the quality and location won’t compare to Frites Atelier. Don’t over do it by getting fries and a burger- the frites are enough. Especially the delicious beef stew frites! It’s a little pricey for a family but you must try it!

Very good fries and excellent croquettes, but don’t be surprised that everything is very, very oily. Sauces were nice too. However, the prices are way too high, one single croquette is 5-6€ which I think is a bit much for a quick snack. Also it gets really crowded around noon so be ready to wait.

This place gets incredibly crowded around mid day, so be prepared to be in lines if you come after 1pm. The veggie burger was decent, the fries were fairly nice too - but they’re incredibly oil to the point where you can taste the oil. So perhaps I’m not really big on the double frying process. All in all, it’s not a bad idea to eat here but there might be better places.

Went here for a late lunch. Very busy, but worth the wait. They had a different menu compared to winter 2021, which was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the item I wanted wasn't in stock anymore, but the positive thing is that you know they have fresh goods every day. Had the nori crisp fries and really enjoyed it. A bit pricey, but for me this was filling enough for the rest of the day.

Simply delicious!! We loved all the fries but what we didn't expect is to love even more the cheeseburger. I recommend to order both options.

Delicious Frites! So yummy and a good selection of sauces to go with them! We also had some croquettes which were also delicious. A surprisingly tasty and filling meal, would recommend for anyone who needs their Frites fix!

One of the best fries I had in Belgium. The fries had a crisp exterior and soft insides, and made a really good pairing with the Flemish beef stew. Despite being topped with the beef stew, the fries were not soggy at all. Stew aside, the fries went well with the array of sauces provided, particularly the truffle sauce.

We all can agree that this place does not offer traditional Belgian potatoes (come on, they are from Amsterdam), but this is not a problem for this place that serves really delicious fries. From the most basic options (1 portion of fries with 2 sauces) to the most elaborate dishes, each option on the menu is worth it even when the cost is well above the standard of Belgian fries.
