Awesome bar where you can play boardgames with friends. Ideal setting for D&D players. You can also buy boardgames and comic books over there. Good to know: they have a special offer, when you buy four drinks you can throw a d20 (dice with 20 sides), depending on the number, you get a free drink (for example a 1 = a free water, a 20 = a free cocktail). Awesome bar, friendly people, nice setting and a view next towards the water. 10/10

Great place to hang out, play some games and buy some comics. The shop has a nice view on the waterside and offers some good drinks and decent food. You can easily spend the whole day here just having fun or empty your bank account buying some good geeky stuff. All around fantastic.

Spacious basement store and bar, that carries a wide selection of comics and board games. There's tables where you can play board games with friends, and have a drink and a snack. Pets welcome. The staff is friendly and funny.

Worlds' End is a meeting point for young and old where you can sit down read your stash of comics or play a game while having a drink from our well stocked bar. In business since the 80's (formerly Betty Boop), located in Ghent and one of the biggest local comic shops in Belgium. Our core products are US comics and manga. But since we are also a venue where you can play games in our cool historical basement next to the water our supply of games has grown exponentially.

This place is a hidden gem in Ghent. They have a great collection of comic books, manga and board games. But my favorite thing was their cozy game tables overlooking the canal. I would spend hours there if I lived in Ghent. A very nice place to stop by if you’re visiting Ghent, and a great weekend hangout spot if you live there.

We were on a short holiday in Ghent, and since our hotel didn't have a smart TV, we found World's End while looking for something to do in the evening. Here we bought some Jumpstart Magic boosters and played for two evenings in a great and friendly atmosphere. The staff were friendly and approachable, gave good advice and spoke perfect English. Drink prices are fair and there is a great selection. Thanks for the time and hospitality! We will gladly come again and can highly recommend the location!

Absolutely loved the place! Went there with my friends when we visited Gent and the staff and vibe were really nice! We all bought games and immediately tested them out. We had the vegan burgers and those were really good as well! Stayed there the whole afternoon :)

Love this! Best place to play games and have a drink! You can also bring your own food! (not drinks) So much fun to meet up with friends. And in the shop you can buy a lot of games!

Its a very nice shop to buy comics, games and books but also to play games and drink together. It's an actually cool meeting point, tough some people were kinda too loud and a bit annoying so we decided to leave, but I guess some other occasion will be better for me, we will try again for sure ✌️ the service fee the girl in the bar was perfect 🙌

It’s not exactly located in the heart of Gent but it’s not that far away from it (if you don’t mind walking and it might be not so wheelchair friendly). However, this is ideal place for you and your friends to grab some drinks and play some board games. They have selections of food besides drinks. Not to mention, you can just visit here to buy your comics, mangas, figures, board games, you just name some of the geeky stuffs you can name of! You can’t exactly see the seating area from my pictures but on the right side, there are multiple areas where people can sit and play some board games, or you can just sit at the counter to enjoy the drink. I was very impressed with selections of mangas, comics and board games. According to the staffs, if you can find it on their web store, they should have it available in their physical store as well, which was the case when I called the store and then went to look for a specific board game. I definitely recommend this place and I can’t wait for the day for me to revisit to play some board games with my friends.

Incredible place! The comic selection was contained in a series of seemingly unending cavernous rooms, they seemed to have a very well selected collection. As i'm not a massive book fan, I didn't look too deeply into these. A nice board game selection to buy as well as some you can borrow to play in store. Miniatures and other collectibles to be bought as well. Lovely cafe choices (vegan) and some tables with beautiful views onto the canal. Super friendly staff to boot.

Ideal place to play board games with your friends or just hang out. They have a good variety of drinks and the cafe looks really nice. They also sell plenty of manga, comics and boardgames.

If you're a fan of comic books, board games, and having a great time, then you need to check out this amazing shop! This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you're part of a community, with friendly staff, fantastic selection, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile. As soon as you step inside, you'll be greeted by rows of colorful comics, stacked high and just waiting to be explored. The selection is diverse and impressive, with everything from classic superheroes to indie titles and graphic novels. You can spend hours just browsing the shelves and discovering new stories to love. But that's just the beginning. This shop also offers a wide variety of board games, from family-friendly classics to strategic favorites. And the best part? You're welcome to sit down and play right there in the store! The staff are always happy to help you find a game, set you up at a table, and even offer recommendations and tips. And let's not forget the drinks. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing soda, a craft beer, or a delicious coffee, this shop has you covered. They even have a cozy lounge area where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your beverage of choice while you play or read. Overall, this is one of the best comic book and board game shops I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the selection is top-notch, and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun. Whether you're a die-hard comic book fan, a board game enthusiast, or just looking for a great place to hang out with friends, this shop is a must-visit!

What a place! A beautiful canalside location, and fantastic vaulted rooms. I wasn't expecting to find manga in English, but I was so delighted when I did. A wonderful shop, and I wish I could've spent more time lingering!

Great place to hang out with friends to shop, play boardgames or just have a casual drink. Worlds' End is just a walk away from the centre. You can buy boardgames, books, comics and manga in their shop. Also there is a Simpsons pinball machine (€1) in a corner which was super fun.

Terrific comic book store with also large selection of board/table top games! An underground lair filled with comics, merchandise, games and utilities (paint, brushes etc) that is also a café. Brilliant! Highly recommend going here.

It was a great shop with an amazing selection of both comics and mangas. Everything was in English, the staff was amazingly nice and helpful and I understand you can play a bunch of boardgames and even d&d there! They also have a bar where you can order drinks and snacks from! What more could you want in a nerd shop tbh XD

Lots and lots of boardgames available. Can be bought, some can be rented and tried out on site. You can bring your own game and play there. Interior is like a multi-level ancient dungeon. Love the atmosphere: even when full, it doesn't get noisy. Must go there if you love boardgames.

They carry a wide range of tabletop games and are always friendly and helpful. They ALSO carry a wide range of tasty beverages and have several tables arranged in various semi-open niches that provide a nice private atmosphere to play with friends.

This place is amazing! It's so nice and cosy and has so many things to look at! From dnd to board games, card games, etc etc! You can even get yourself a drink and play games! I fell in love with this place♡

Lots of comics and role-playing stuff for sale, in a cellar bar just off the beaten track. You can borrow board games and give them a go in one of the seated areas, and get table or bar service. Food is also available, but I didn't try it. We borrowed happy little dinosaurs and played a few games of it while having several rounds.

A great store for comics and board games. Outside, all you'll see is an entrance into a cellar (dare I say dungeon?) but inside is a very well stocked shop and a cafe so you can have some quiet time with your newly purchased books, mags and games. No BD's to be found here though so Belgian purists may hate it.

Complete and varied collection. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. I'm not a comic book expert but I recommend the place, and I'll continue to visit regularly.

The only issues i had was finding chainsaw man but that was expected honestly since it's too popular

There's a relaxing atmosphere with both the shop, lounge and playing tables visible as soon as you enter it. (After walking down a set of stairs) Nothing seems over priced and I can finally buy mtg cards without worrying too much about counterfeit.

👍 Well maintained sports bar with so many activities. A bit challenging to locate for a first timer. Great atmosphere but 4 stars because the food was a bit disappointing. Burger could do with some seasoning.
