This is a bowl of braised buta kakuni. It is supposed to be pork belly as advertised but what I got was shoulder cut which is tough and lean. Taste wise it is just run of the mill but I can't help but feel like a sort of deception on their part. It comes with a side of miso soup that is just passsble. Taste factor: 2.4/10 Return factor: I wasn't particularly keen on revisiting joints that feels like sort of a scam

Family celebration of two April birthday girls. Staffs are friendly and attentive. Service is exceptionally good. Food quality is above expectation. Good vibe for group dining. Ice creams were served as complimentary!

We ate in this place several times. Everything we ordered was good. Tables are far apart, and staff are friendly. Good for family gathering.

Below expectations... comparing the price point, the food presentation could be improved. Ordered the kappa, sake and kani maki... presentation was the worse pathetic. fruits was dried out, most probably left in the fridge uncovered. Saving grace was the chasu ramen, broth was nice and rich flavor.

Omg, cannot speak more highly of this place!! Never have I been to a place that specialise in both traditional sashimi sushi etc but also ramen! Their ramen broth was smooth and rich, and generous in size. Their sashimi was fresh and melt in your mouth, Their miso nice and warm, and their sushi temaki to die for. We also ordered their double dragon roll which was phenomenal, and their unagi which was soft and creamy. I couldn’t not recommend this place more, it’s worth every cent and so so affordable for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Loved the salmon sashimi. Very fresh and good quality. The katsu curry was good but wasn't spicy at all.

The food was awesome... Everything was very fast. And the staff are very friendly. But a bit pricey, that's all. So if going by family then is worth it.

Had a dinner there and my daughter was sleeping on me. A waitress (named Sofi I think) offered me two more chairs so I can let her sleep on it and I could eat. So nice of her and she deserves a pay raise in her next review 💪🏻

The sashimi is fresh. Ebi tempura is acceptable, fresh but small. The salad is superb. Salmon skin is thin and crispy. The soft shell crab is fresh and not oily. 👍👍👍

One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in town. Used to be lesser patrons pre Covid and during Covid, making dining in/taking away easier but biz boomed after Covid. You might want to call for reservations prior visiting. Highly recommended kimuchi yaki soba - it’s from the old menu. You gotta order directly with the waiter since it’s no longer in the latest menu. Highly recommended the salmon fish head soup as well but sad that they can’t remove the orange peel from the prep. Sometimes the orange peel scent can be quite overwhelming. It will be great if the management can look into the size of the unagi roll. The unagi is paper thin! It’s absolutely ridiculous for the price charged! Sister company Hachiban offers better thickness of the unagi for the roll. Please do improve on this. Overall, it’s a good dining experience.

Very good Japanese restaurant. The food is up to the expectations, even the simple miso soup tastes much better than many other Japanese Chain restaurants. The salmon sashimi is very nice, and the aburi salmon is also good. Saba Syoyaki was great, very well prepared. Just the Gyuniku Shougayaki is a bit disappointing, better ordered the seafood items. The price is slightly higher than other chain restaurants, but it is worth the quality of the food. Parking is easily available outside of the restaurant.

Was a frequent diner for many years but noticed drop of food quality. Sashimi tuna not fresh. Noticed the tempura was fried many times or the oil is not changed it’s oily when you bite into it. Miso soup was diluted. Previously loved their tempura cos it’s fried fresh but notice past few visit standard not the same . Good service and the salmon sashimi is good 👍🏻
