Open by the family that used to run the fishing village in teluk bahang. Note the fishing village is closed permanently based on my discussion with the mom. They do have the fishing village menu as well as other good like pasta, burgers. Had the usual fishing village food. Food is excellent as usual and service is good. Will be back

Accessibility: It is not easy to locate the shop as it is a house converted to a restaurant. Customer Service: The waiter and waitress were very friendly and will suggest dish as per tour taste. Food Taste: Food is tasty but has not much special variety. Environment: The area is clean and simple. Nothing fancy inside the shop. Food Price: Price is slightly higher but the portion is large. Each of the item is suitable for 2 pax.

Decided to try out this place for the first time after reading the reviews. I must say the food was pretty good. I had the BBQ dishes and a pork burger and salad. Food portion was decent. Food price is about right. Overall Food taste is good. Ambience could be improved on. I was a bit disappointed that wine wasn't sold. I requested for a mixed grill platter as my friends wanted to share and taste a selection of the meats. Perhaps it's.aomethinf you may want to consider adding this to the menu.

Food is good and portions are big. Prices are reasonable. Staff are also friendly and attentive. One of us found BBQ chicken too spicy, and the restaurant offered cooking a new set for us. Highly recommend.

The Flame Kitchen is definitely my favourite go-to for both casual dining and special occasions. The ambience is rather unassuming and the service can be a little slow at times since the cooking (and even inventory restocks) is mostly handled by Brandon himself (so do be patient - it's really worth the wait hehe!)... but his food are usually made to impress - both taste and price-wise. The first on my list of personal recommendations would be his simple Mushroom Garlic Pasta. For RM18 (and even for that price, it already came with freshly hand-grated parmesan cheese, good olive oil, and a flavoured with dash of sake, homemade mirin, and dashi!), it's literally my staple in this restaurant - I would never start my meal without it. Brandon's burgers - especially his beef burger - are good choices (150g homemade beef patty, made as close to what he had in the US!). If not, you can consider going for his Grilled Cheese Sandwich - which he uses 6 different cheese to make! Other good choices are his Miso Bacon Pasta, Breaded Seabream, and definitely his Grapes and Greens Salad (which not only has walnuts and red wine reduction, but also bits of blue cheese!). If you seriously have the cash to shell out - go for his Lobster Thermidor. It's RM250 per kg, but I have seen so many folks ordering (and returning again for) it that I have made it my dream to order it too someday (even if it would break my wallet into a thousand and one pieces lmao). Most of his food are often within the RM25-45 range - but I can confidently assure you that you will most probably not find another place elsewhere on the island that could serve food this good for the price you would be paying (and if you do, do tell me - I would be seriously interested to make comparisons hahaha!). PS: Do pay attention to his seasonal Special Menus too - he tends to bring in new dishes for limited-time periods (so do follow his IG closely for latest updates hehe!), and you can tell from the photos that I had tried enough of them to assure you that they are lip-smacking good as well hehe!

Omg! We didn’t expect the food to be so delicious. We ordered the chargrilled chicken (one of the best I’ve had - super tender and the sauce was nice and tangy), the BBQ lamb which is like a deconstructed fajita (great flavor) and the black pepper squid. We even ordered another portion of the squid for dinner because it was so good. Will be back to try the other dishes.

Went there this evening for my birthday. We came from Singapore for a short holiday We had the grapes & green (think this was the name of the salad), stewed lamb shank and the pork chop. The lamb shank was probably the best shank I had. You can drink the sauce πŸ™‚ only wish they served wine by the glass. Unassuming place. Highly recommended. With the almighty Singapore dollar, it was cheap! πŸ˜‰

Lovely place in Tanjung Bungah. My wife and I went for dinner with a friend. Service was friendly and attentive. The dishes we ordered were all superb. Both the garlic butter fish and black pepper squid were fresh and at the right level of spice. The beef fried rice was tasty too. You can request veggie dishes and these are well prepared. Downed with some chilled Tiger beer. Money and an evening well spent.

I like it here, the food is good and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly. A huge bonus is you can bring your own wine. Deserves to be more busy. Worth trying.

We had grapes and green salad, and I must say it’s the best salad I’ve ever had! Balanced flavour of red wine sauce, grapes, olive oil and walnuts, makes it a really fun dish to have! The pork ribs are soft and well cooked. I love the passion fruit salad. We can wrap the meat and salad with the tortilla and these elements blend together nicely. For food at this quality, I would say it’s reasonably priced and will definitely come again soon.

We have eaten here twice in the last couple of days. This a super place with excellent food at good price . Service is excellent and very well run. Crab salad and fried rice with prawns was awesome ☺️. Sadly closed for three days for New Year but we will be back once open againπŸ‘

The food is delicious. The portion is a bit small with little garnishing. Prices slightly on the high side. Very little decoration; atmosphere like a high end coffee shop. Parking is limited, so could be a challenge as it's impossible to park on the street. Can visit again.
