Second time back here with my husband and it's still as lovely as ever. G and T are the perfect hosts, friendly, warm, helpful and always ready to recommend places to eat. Room is very clean. The room we booked had its own balcony which is perfect to chill without disturbing others. The main balcony is much bigger with the best view of the ocean. We love hanging out here in the morning with a cup of coffee/tea, read a book or simply to relax. Right outside the little garden door is the beach itself. Nice to take a stroll, or a dip in the waters or simply admire the gorgeous skies. If you're like us, looking for a little space to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, stay at G&T's Beach House.

We loved it! We have been to Penang countless times but my wife and I have never experienced it like we did staying here with Gerry and Teressa. Beautifully located right at the beach, you can spend hours just sitting at the large balcony overlooking the sea (sunset is amazing too). Both Gerry and Teressa are amazing and the sweetest hosts you will find and Gerry definitely knows more about the local food than many locals we know! Tucked away nicely in peaceful and serene Tanjung Bungah means you're just a short drive from the busy Georgetown. Thank you for an amazing stay and we only ever want to stay here when we visit Penang!

The experience was much more than the comfortable guesthouse and the great location, just metres from the beach, close to shops and restaurants and a short bus ride into Georgetown. The hosts, Gerry and Teresa, are so friendly and helpful. They provided great advice about where to go. And they genuinely like people so were happy to join us on many occasions to eat or just chat the evening away, on the terrace that overlooks the ocean, with the sound of the waves lapping onto the beach. Relaxation, friendliness, convenience.

Gerry and Teresa were amazing hosts! I enjoyed my stay and wish I could have stuck around longer. Location of G & T's home is at Tanjung Bungah, in the middle of Batu Ferringhi and Georgetown; pretty convenient to get around via Grab (hired car) or the public buses (RM 2/ride that I enjoyed). My stay at G & T's beach villa was pleasant. Room was spacious, proper wardrobe, bed was comfortable, and toilet was clean. The beach view was a big plus!!! G & T are super well informed about the area. They recommended a yummy Indian place for lunch, and a local bar up north. Eateries and convenience stores are 15 mins away by foot if you enjoy walkies like I do. Georgetown is 20 mins away by bus. This has nothing to do with the property but buses do not arrive on time. If you have a fixed or tight schedule, best to head over via Grab. But there is also an option for you to rent a scooter from G & T :) Lovely couple who made my stay memorable and will definitely be back over here when I'm in Penang.

G&T beach house is a perfect place for family stay, sea view is breathtaking from the balcony, just a stone throw away from the beautiful and private beach, cozy & private quite and peaceful place, there is a place for fishing too. Location is perfect at Tanjung Bunga, it is nearby to Georgetown, lots of restaurant and great food nearby, supermarket nearby, host Gerry and Theresa very nice helpful sharing places for great food to try out. The accomodation is perfect, clean, aircondition, bathroom was clean and nice with hot shower, parking was easy inside the villa compound. What we like most is home is equipped with everything we needed as we have a baby with us, hot & cold water dispenser, oven, microwave, fridge, kitchen area. Gerry & Theresa made us feel at ease, nice, easy to talk, very friendly and helpful. This is definetely the perfect place to stay with family in Penang, would definetely come again.

We stayed for about 2 weeks and had an absolutely amazing time. Gerry and Teresa couldn't have been more welcoming and really made us feel at home. The location is stunning, and the house is gorgeous. An absolute must visit if you ever go to Penang.

Wonderful location for a quick getaway, can be lively and peaceful depending on the time, clean beachfront and a front row seat for a great sunset, a really good spot for canoeing and fishing enthusiast to stay for the night, breezy in the evening as well, good balcony view and overall cleanliness is spot on

We stayed here for 3 days and really enjoyed it. Gerry and Teresa are really nice and have a lot of great tips for Penang. Especially regarding great food locations! We would definitely come back again!

Terrible experience!!! Booked advertised as free cancellation but confirmed as non-refundable. Host reconfirmed booking several times but < 6 days before arrival, host decided to cancel my booking without my approval or provided a satisfactory explanation for the cancellation. He kept insisting his accommodation is his home & not a hotel, BUT I reminded him that he has put it for commercial purposes & inconvenient my travel plans!! Furthermore confirmed, prepaid with no refund if I cancel!

Gerry and Theresa is a gem of a host. The property is a dream come true, next to a breezy beach, Cozy neighborhood, easy access to routes. The house is edaquatly equipped with all the necessities. The property has a parking spot which was added advantage. Room with private balcony was the best choice. This is a staying which i will return to with no hesitation. On another note, there was two dogs on the neighbors property which was too cute and very friendly.
