The aircond for the room was having some problems like ringing sound, and also got air but not cool. Heater is faulty i think, sometimes cold sometimes hot... Overall the stay was enjoyable, receptionist are friendly with quick check-in time Location is strategic, walkable to many places.

Do not bother going to this hotel. Receptionist was rude and unprofessional. Don't know how to speak to customers. I arrived and these 2 receptionist does not look presentable. Just wear t-shirts with miserable faces. When asked for my bookings.. simply said "macam cancel je". Did not even ask my full name or IC.. did not ask for my booking ID. Then proceed to tell me my booking was cancelled by Agoda. I called Agoda because this hotel would not take responsibility at all and simply said I have to deal this with Agoda myself. Agoda said they never cancelled my booking but the receptionist still said it is cancelled by Agoda. They did not show me any proof but simply just said it is cancelled by Agoda. They did not care and just said it's Agoda's fault. Did not apologized at all. I have all proof booking was confirmed and paid! Agoda also send me new email regarding the booking that was indeed not cancelled by Agoda! Just imagine I travelled 6 hours to check in the hotel and this rude receptionist simply said booking is cancelled and handle it yourself! It is not even a nice hotel just a budget hotel standard. Perhaps doing it on purpose because they gave the room to someone else already. If you do not want this to happen to you do not choose this hotel!!!!

I love the hotel setting (although it shares building with office lots), the ambience of the room is pretty comfortable with sufficient amenities. The location wise is allowable for walking distance (i walked as far as Chow Rasta). Stayed for 3D 2N and it was very satisfactory experience.

This apartment hotel is located at a rather quiet side of George Town. There are proper parkings designated at this building. My booking of a family suite for five adults came with two bathrooms, two bedrooms and a small living room with a table and several chairs. Very basic and practical arrangements of furnitures and simple fittings in the rooms. There is a small safe in one of the rooms. A kettle and some cutlery are provided for dinning in too. For cleanliness, bed comfort, air-conditioning and shower, I would give this place a favourable pass.

Room is clean. But if you are sensitive with noise, i don't recommend to stay this hotel. There are many small noises from neighbors during midnight due to thin walls. You might wake up with someone's door close loudly. And TV not working properly. Only 3-4 programs available. I regretted to stay this hotel because of noise during mid night.

Good location. Comfortable room. Shower screen let’s water all into the bathroom but is powerful. Housekeeping is great, anything we needed was given. Gym is OK, treadmills weren’t working, free weights are very limited (2kg-10Kg) and a lot of wasted space with no mats available. Staff are great. Would recommend.

we got upgrade from deluxe trio to junior suite!! The room is extra large~~ the cleanliness of urban H hotel met our standard, the room has fresh air, clean spotless linen, all the electronics working well, and the staff cleaned our room everyday. On the day one, our plane got delay so we came late at night, but the friendly security staff greet us then explained us everything that we need to know. the hotel has passenger lift so it is suitable for elderly people too. The location is strategic, a lot of food stall on the walking distance. no breakfast, but more cafe at the ground floor is so good, delicious food, good portion, beautiful ambience, friendly staff and also with reasonable price.

It's my first time in Penang and staying at Urban H Hotel gave me a great impression of the city. I like that they are located near musuems and parks and real good cafes and restos. The staff are good. Room is clean always. Bed is like a gift from heaven. When I arrived, I was just in Singapore few days prior and lacked sleep because the hotels I booked there weren't good. So extra happy when I found out that Urban H has all these to offer a then sleep-deprived traveller like myself.

We had a lovely, comfortable stay and great hospitality. Room was spacious, super clean. We booked 2 3bedroom apartment. But one of the apartment got not so many tv channel. Please improve on that. Otherwise, excellent

Guys sorry I have to give you 1 star only despite that localization, stuff and rooms vere fantastic and give 5 stars for this. But not the safety whis is most important. First day we had very unpleasant situation on parking. When we parked some scammer guy followed us and on motorbike and said we are parking at wrong place (it was good for sure !) And he said to repark on other place which was not for the hotel. If we did that we could pay fine for parking on wrong place and probably be robbed be this guy bacouse our luggage was outside car and no one was looking on them. Fortunatelly we noticed it was scam and said to this guy to "get the .... off". After that I was worried about my car all time. Do sometking with this!!

Nice and hotel, everything is very clean, bed, sheet, bathroom and everything. Book for deluxe trio and surprisingly room is really spacious. In front of the hotel there is cafe, and at the lower ground there is restaurant. Good value for money, will come again for sure. Hope staff open email regularly.

1. Service - 4⭐ Hotel service only available from 8am - 10pm daily. 2. Room - 4⭐ The room is quite spaces and welcoming. 3. Cleanliness - 4.5 ⭐The room is quite clean, quite comfy and comfortable. 4. Environment - 4 ⭐Overall is good 👍🏻. Just the air-con on my room is not really function well.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights. The room is clean, however, neither of us slept well. The wall is so thin, he can hear me switching the light from his room. I kept hearing the sounds from water pipe from time to time during the whole night. Someone was dropping the construction wastes, making noise till almost 9pm. There was alarm from other rooms during the night. It’s impossible to have good quality of sleep.

Wir haben hier 5 Nächte verbracht und sind sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist Zentral und in einigen Gehminuten erreicht man viele der Cafes und Streetartpunkte in der Innenstadt. Einziger Nachteil sind die unisolierten Fenster im 1 Stock die in der Nacht regelmässig einiges an Lärm ins Zimmer liessen.

Little bit disappointed with receptionist i have request to have extra mineral water and to send iron and the iron board before I'm going out. After come back still not send till next morning and i need to call again to request.

Already book 1day before with hotel, suddenly 1hours before arrive,the hotel called to cancelled d booking. Worst ever customer service. Ive booked under company name. Later,dont simply said d room is availble if your hotel does not have availble room. Wasting my time to serach other hotel last minutes. After that,my director directly not recommended their providing room service onwards.

We were a family of 5 adults and 3 children staying in The Residence. The apartment was very clean. Housekeeping only every other day. Plenty of parking space. Would definitely return for "jalan-jalan cari makan" in Penang.

Generally a 3 star hotel. The basic requirements are fulfilled with clean room and nice shower. The shower temp is controlled well and with good pressure showers.

I left my wallet in the lobby. a few hours later the receptionist called to return my wallet. nothing is missing. I am very impressed. nice experience 👍🏻

A 2 floors hotel in a commercial building. Upper floors are office. Hotel good for short stay. Convenient location and walking distance to some good eateries. Junior suite family room is big size; 2 queen size bed, accommodate 4 adults. Has 3 lifts, free carpark at lift level which convenient for elderly.

Love the room, its not noisy but still can hear if anyone laugh very loud. Easy to find cafe and food. Very suitable for people who travel for work like me. And get free parking if staying at the hotel.

I stay here every time I come to Penang. The rooms are clean, modern, and they have various room configurations that can cater to different groups sizes. I've stayed at three different rooms and enjoy it every time I am here. Friendly staff, even down to the house keeping lady who makes an effort to remember my name and address me every time I see her in the hallway. Just the parking pillar is very narrow, you really have to drive very slowly and carefully take the bend especially if you drive a long wheel base car or MPV.

It was worth for the money. Having their own hotel parking lot is plus. There are lot of food restaurants nearby or you can get grab to around. The room is clean and spacious.

Easy checkin, parking available on premise. No need to worry, room comfort, Walkin distance to nearby shop. But for attraction u still need to drive or ride.

Urban H Hotel had a good strategic location that lead to a lot of yummy eateries and also you will explore more places for taking nice photos and new discovery as you walk on. Night life, you can go to pub n listen to live band within walking distance. Never feel bored . The hotel itself is very clean n staffs are very friendly. We went in a group of 6pax…….stay in 3 rooms with individual toilet , kitchen and big living room …..fridge is provided as well. We simply love the hotel as we get to bond nightly with laughter. By the way, this is not my first stay in urban h hotel. It will be my first choice whenever I go penang. Highly recommended!!

Clean, spacious and simple interior design of the room. Ample indoor parking lots at level 3 and above. Walking distance to street foods are nearby as it is difficult to find parking in Penang. Friendly and helpful staffs. Recommended to stay here.

Lovely modern hotel in a good location. Grabs are so easy to get anywhere in this area too. The bedroom was really big and housekeeping was very good. Only real improvement would be as a gym user, it'd be really helpful to have some mats to work out on. Very simple and there's a huge empty space in the gym area entrance that already has mirrors in so for 100Rm, the area could be utilised as if one person is in the weights area, you cannot use the gym unless you want to do cardio.
