I stayed at the Century Bay Private Residence for few days and I was very impressed by the spacious and comfortable apartment. The unit had everything I needed, from a fully equipped kitchen to a laundry area. The balcony had a beautiful view of the ocean and the pool was very inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Penang. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and homely stay in Penang.

Would rate no stars if I could. Poor service or should I say Non existent service. They don't pick up calls, and there is no one at the lobby to help. Wifi doesn't work so you need to buy your own simcard if traveling internationally. Rooms quite dirty and different from the picture in advertisement. Came in the first night with no towels and toilet paper for us to freshen up. Bugs and ants in the common room coming in and out in holes in the corner of the rooms. Gym equipment is faulty and out of service But no tags to show "do not use", breaching safety.

Lovely staff, but place really needs better looking after. Beds are really uncomfortable (either far too soft or like concrete), my stove wouldn't turn off entirely (slight gas leak), and the washing machine stained clothes. Good location, but mediocre everything else.

Overall is a good stay. We have stay in this apartment for 4 days. Convenient location, nearby alot of local food. Nearby to Queensbay Mall and nice scenery at Queens Waterfront. Staff is helpful especially Mahabur. Thanks.

We visited the place to check out the location only. There was absolutely no place to park outside. We were told to park outside for swimming lessons but was told by the security guard that we may get a ticket too because the area outside had yellow lines. As a result, we decided not to take lessons here.

I stayed in Century Bay Private Residence thrice, their services were amazing & staffs mainly the room cleaners were so friendly, maintained a cleaner/fresher environment. I would highly recommend this private residence to everyone especially those who are bringing their pets as they’re pet-friendly too with sprawling facilities like gymnasium, swimming pool, jacuzzi. The receptionist, MAHABUR was such a generous person with great hospitality & never fails to fulfill customer’s needs & most importantly always maintained a good attitude while communicating with customers👍🏻 Century Bay Private Residence would always be my first go-to choice if I’m heading to Penang.

This place very quite and nice. Nice hospitality. Got swimming pool , cafe , bar , snooker. Parking quite squeeze so be careful while you parking. Water heater is not heat enough but got bath tab. Kitchen with microwave, toaster, washing machine, kettle and hairdryer. Nice location and abit far from main town.

Had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here. Love the vibes in the suite we booked. A plus point is, the suite is well-equipped with a gas stove, cooking pans and pot, microwave, bread toaster, plates, bowls, cutleries and kitchen utensils such as knifes and can opener. This had brought much convenience to us and made us to have a feeling of being at home. But the downside is, some of the things in the suite are not well-maintained. For example, the television has noisy sound when being switched on; the floor is dusty; and the bread toaster is a bit rusty. Also, another downside is that there is no fans but only air-con in the suite. This is not friendly to those who cannot withstand the coldness of the air-con. It would be good if fans could be installed in the suite so that customers have another option to use fans. We love the environment and facilities here. Besides swimming pool, there are also gym room, ping pong and snooker at Level 2 near the Bar & Lounge. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. Besides, there is also a filtered water refill machine (Cuckoo) beside the reception counter at Level 2. We love this as it fulfilled our needs of refillable filtered water since we are not using disposable plastic water bottle for being eco-friendly. Their service is also good. They always attend to our enquiries promptly. Overall, this is a good and recommended place to stay whenever visiting Penang.

If I would have been smarter, I would have booked for months. Best deal, room and amenities in town. You cannot beat it.

Very spacious room, suitable for family vacation. The view from 11th floor is quite nice, but some maintenances need to improve. The bed isn't much comfortable enough.

Quite a big place. Really affordable price. Nice receptionist named Mahabur. Got a big balcony with a nice view of penang bridge. recommended and will be coming again

Simply overrated. Rooms are rundown with cockroaches, dusty and no sense of responsibility from the management. Airconds not working, muddy water and they don't even inspect the rooms before guests check-in. Recently I had large number of guests stay there, non of my guests appreciated the stay there. They get every guest's IC Photostat and they don't even invalidate the IC copy in-front of you until you ask, imagine the copy of IC goes to wrong hands. The guards ask for deposit if checked in late although the room fully paid for, no coordination. Never again will step into this place.

Book this place for business trip. Basically it is a apartment convert into a hotel. Lack of the hotel hospitality which is no towel in house or room. This place has complete equipment like a house. There is a fridge, rice cooker, washing machine, microwave, stove and a sink. Would be an ideal place to book or consider if you travel in a large group.

cool place, stayed almost ea 2 weeks. gave us an upgrade to a room with a fridge because we needed to store medicines. Friendly staff, it was a pleasure to stay with you. the second time we choose this accommodation, reasonable prices and good service in this part of the city. Thank you

The apartment is far from the center of city, only queensbay mall is the nearest mall. But the room ia good and they have a clean room for your stay.

The management didn't straight for the swimming pool rules and swimming pool is super dirty,full with mold. Residents wear Normal t shirt go down the pool.

Apartment was big, spacious, got wifi, and fully furnished. Got gym, swimming pool, and lobby is nice to relax. Mr Mahabbur is the best, always smile handling our needs. The place is near to every tourist spot. Very privacy, got security somemore, parking is easy. Nice. Will come again.

Hidden gem for relax , peaceful at bayan lepas area. 5 mins drive to Queensbay mall and to Penang 1st bridge . Some of the furniture a bit outdated but still beyond acceptable.

Century bay private residences is one of the best and affordable hotel in penang, prices are excellent and affordable! I'm staying here from last 4-5 months and I'm fully enjoying my stay here, beautiful lobby with lots of facilities, sports and games like pool table, play station, karaoke, table tennis, badminton, gymnasium, CrossFit, swimming pool, cafe, lots of sitting areas and a bookshelf Housekeeping service whenever required, Very nice, caring and polite staff Peaceful locality The room is lovely, super clean with most comfortable bed! Bathroom with shower very clean. Free wifi is available. Laptop with printers available at the lobby for the customers. Near to Queensbay mall, bust station and USM. First of all, we cannot neglect that the price is really cheap, so we couldn’t complain much on this. But the room given is just like haunted house, with dark interior and old furnishings. The weird thing is even the sunlight also cannot brighten much the house. It’s totally different than the photo shown in the abnb. 😡

Very old furniture and facility, have some sort of smell, different actual room condition compared in the image shown, not worth the price, dont ever stay at this place.

Date of stay: 4th - 6th June 2022 Room no: 802 SECURITY GUARD WAS SO RUDE!!! Very poor security service! The management hired Bangladeshi security guard who possessed a very BAD and RUDE attitude! The guard will yell at you to ask for your IC before entering the car park. Just imagine the security guard yelling to your parents asking for their IC, we felt like a foreigner in our home country. The building and the room itself is abit dated. But the facilities like the pool and the gym and game floor is amazing. Nicely located as in not to far from georegetown yet not in the bustling of a city.

Highly recommend for those who which to bring their pets along in travelling. I brought my 2 dogs and a cat along and stayed for 2 nights. Spacious and pet friendly environment.
