I'm here again because they had changed their menu. Their sashimi is as fresh as always 👍🏻 As for now their seafood green curry ramen is my favourite! The creamy green curry soup is flavourful and not greasy.

The place is very nice, and the service is good. Live music is relaxing. The food is also nice I tried: 1. Combo rolls 🥵 2. Unagi rolls 3. Ramen 4. Gen Matcha green tea - very nice Minus 1 star for the Combo rolls moyo is spicy :-( and I don't eat spicy, menu doesn't say it's spicy 🥵 So let you know - it's not a cheap place.

Was attracted to the outer look of the shop as it looks very modern & classy. Walked into the restaurant & was surprised it's empty on a Sunday night. Start to think that the quality of food might be a disappointment. The menu looks attractive, so i ordered a few dishes. The food presentation looks appealing as well. Everything was good till the moment u tasted their food. Ordered 4 dishes n 2 of it was super salty. My tolerance level for salt is very high, but this is overpowering. The ramen soup base is only salty. No other flavours involved. The deep fried octopus is also covered with saltiness. The steamed clams are the worst. All clams are not open, which means the freshness is doubtful. I wonder how the chef handles the food preparation & is able to serve this kind of dish on the table. You're humiliating your own professionalism. The clam is also not well cleaned as u can find mud n sand inside. It is truly unacceptable for such high quality restaurant charging at such a price. The only dish acceptable was the potato croquettes. The taste was average, not under the delicious category as well. This place is definitely a 1 time visit. No wonder it's empty even on a weekend.

Lunch, Dinner, anytime is consistently good. Saba fish and maki(s) are really good as well, better than most! Ambience is chill and cozy, not too loud not too stuffy. Overall 10/10, great for groups and gathering.

Excellent service 💯 The waiters and waitresses are attentive and friendly. Their chef recommendations are really delicious. Am absolutely in love with their kakuni don (homemade 12hrs braised pork). Their sashimi is really fresh! It's a good place to hangout with friends.

The food was delicious and the presentation was wonderful. The staff was very hospitable.

Lunch sets are so value for money (other than the unagi one - the portion of unagi is a little small for the price of RM68). Interesting ala carte menu, will definitely be back to try it during dinner. Drinks are considered cheap for Penang standard. They even have the promo of buy 2 free 1 cocktail. The male server was very nice and courteous. But the female supervisor/manager was not friendly at all. Her face is as though we owe her 1 million dollars. Maybe you will have more business if you hire someone who’s friendlier.

First time visiting Kaiden and will definitely go back again!! Super delicious food with lots of flavor and lovely presentation. Not forgetting the wide selection of drinks available which will make you enjoy your dining even more :) Overall, it was a great experience! Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
