Awesome malay style food... satisfied my craving for nasi goreng kampung. And not forgetting the satay....both beef and chicken were tasty but my fav is the former one hands down. They do serve breakfast and lunch but i'd rather stick to dinner....more cooling.

We'd our dinner tonight at Borak Borak Bistro. We'd somehow high expectation which was later not remain same. We ordered three simple dishes and three drinks. While Char Koya Teow was served in 10 minutes, the next item took 20+ minutes and by that time Char Koya Teow was finished by one of us. The third dish came after 40 minutes and it was cold. In fact all items were not hot. We ordered chicken Satya and after 45 minutes they said chicken is finished! Overall, it was not a good experience at all. The staff who took order was not efficient and attentive. She even brought a dish that we didn't order which doesn't look good customer service.

I have eaten here twice with my friends and all had good experiences with the food as well as the service. Fish and chips are not that excellent but it’s worth the price. The salad is a little too salty but it goes really well with the fish. For other dishes, I would recommend tomyum. The soup is soooo tasty and spicy, yet it’s quite cheap. I’ve had tomyum a lot around Penang but never tried any tomyum dish that good at that price range. The service was lovely although we had to wait quite long for the food. Definitely would come back and suggest to more people 👌👌👌

Ordered the chicken satay and it came ‘medium rare’. Fortunately what I did eat did not make me ill. My partner ordered a noodle dish and it was average at best. Nicer places further along the road.

I was planning to try having lunch here yesterday (Wednesday 3/1/24), but they were closed. So I come today at the same time 12noon something, and turn out they just open. Lucky me tho! So, we asked them, are they open and ready to serve. They said yes. So apa lgi, me and my colleagues pun masuk, grab our seats and start to order lah. We just order a simple food, Nasi Goreng Daging and Nasi Goreng Biasa. Good food, good service. They have the sweet arabian deserts too but I'm so kenyang so not planning to try it. Maybe on the next visit I will try their Arabian deserts. Staff are friendly. I'm really enjoy my lunch with my colleague there. Hey jangan expect ada aircond.. Open air concept tak panas. Definitely will coming back again. QR pay is accepted beside paying with cash, so nothing to worry in case you forgot to bring not enough cash with you. Thank you for having us today!

Food : 8/10 Food was nice, lots of varieties from western to rice and lauk, also got goreng goreng. Breakfast menu until 11.30am. we tried buttermilk prawn & sesame chicken rice. Both above average but i really love the buttermilk prawn especially the batter for the prawn. Ambience & cleanliness : 9/10 Customer service : 10/10 we had nice chat, very friendly and super helpful when we asked for recommendations Recommended!
