    - Service was excellent and attentive. - Decor and atmosphere is alright but comfortable enough - Ordered: 1. Hokkaido Miso Lamb (RM 42) [5/5] - Flavorful and delicious! A little tough but I like my meat a little tough. Makes me wanna eat it with rice. The cheese under it reminds me of a burger tho, I don’t know why. 2. Finding Nemo Kids Meal (RM 21.90 ) [4/5] - Crispy and juicy. Half expected the flour to be like instant fish and chip but it’s surprisingly flavorful. Big portion. Mason finishes the whole thing! 3. Strawberry Quencher (RM 18.90) [3/5] - Sweet and full of soda. But big glass tho. My son loved it. When we came the liquid nitrogen ice cream was not available. I should come back to try that.

Loved the maharaja fried rice, very hearty portion. The rice, rendang and fried chicken thigh were all expertly prepared and delicious. Mushroom soup was to die for, possibly the best I've ever had, don't miss it! The linguine was unfortunately overcooked, and the sauce was a bit too watery. Ice cream mocha float was the standard fare.

Ordered: 1. Cheese baked Tasmanian oyster (4/5 stars) - Osyters taste slightly fishy but still ok for me. 2. Dragon breath popcorn (2/5 stars) - Taste very normal and the only special thing is the liquid nitrogen (GSC popcorn still the best). 3. Cheese burger spring rolls (5/5 stars) - Crispy outside and flavory beef inside. Good choice as starter. 4. A5 wagyu burger (2/5 stars) - Average taste, pricey and not impressive. The bread and french fries taste like cheap type that bought from Lotus. 5. Signature coconut ice cream (5/5 stars) - The taste is great as there is a slight salty taste on sweet coconut ice-cream which meets my expectation. The waiting time is extremely long which is almost 2 hours for main course to be served. But the staffs are friendly and give some refreshments and titbits to keep us patient.

Giving three stars for the interior decoration, ambience and the cafe looks pretty instagrammable. Other than that I’m still wondering what made the cafe to earn such good reviews. Parking is quite okay considering there is a parking lot nearby the cafe and it is also surrounded with other cafe’s for example CMR 3.0 restaurant which was right beside. To be honest the food tasted pretty basic for the high price they charge and the customer service was no where there as well. They take a very long time to prepare the meals, even the pasta and gives excuses like customer did not prior booking though we are the only ones at the cafe during that time. Overall it was too expensive for the price when you can get similar food with much better customer services in places like Halab & etc. Overall it was just one time off cafe for me and the food (pasta, fried rice, nasi lemak, mushroom soup, chicken, the cakes even the hydrogen ice cream) and latte was pretty much forgettable in terms of the taste.

Simply something different. This Safe Room is redesigned from the previous one to meet elegance, taste and premium. Tasting the food which is rich and savoury makes us feel worth the penny. The food presentation is outstanding. The staff's services are calming and make us feel so welcomed. Although the food took a while to be served the attitude of the staff and the whole package of the meal was very satisfying. Recommended for those who put weightage to taste compared to price. The ambience was comfortable and felt so homely. Thanks for a wonderful evening

Second visit here! Always enjoyed coming here as the ambience is wonderful. Comfortable with light music and excellent food. Their food selection or rather large, so do not worry about not having anything to order. They have sides, snacks, mains, drinks and desserts for you to choose from. It is rather hidden in a small alley but definitely worth a visit.

Nice place to have farewell or function dinner. The place quite unique for me because it’s heritage building with the decoss. The cafe owner is muslim, so no worry. Recommended!!

I'm visiting Penang for the first time and I have to say this restaurant by far serves the best food I've ever had here. Everything on the platter tasted phenomenal, especially with the fried fish and chicken satay. The environment is very relaxing and services are excellent. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone that's traveling to Penang. Don't forget to ask the bartender for the cocktail menu! All of the drinks are self designed at this place :)
