Very nice food, potions not that generous. Lamb curry was excellent 👌 Staff are friendly. Limited choice of alcoholic drinks. This restaurant is one of the higher rated in the area.

Harsha was our waiter - Attentive and prompt service. Food is well presented and delicious. Air conditioned and clean. Pleasant decor and ambience. I would recommend you try this place if you fancy a quality Indian meal.

We were really enjoy it here, the food was so good and service was the best, staff were super friendly and nice, I didn't know much about Indian food, but he was patient with me and help me order the food, and it turn out amezing. My husband and i love everything about this place, food was also affordable, if I ever come back to Penang, I'll visit again for sure.

I visited D'Sakra back in June this year. I can't recall much but definitely the food is pretty good else I would have remembered if it was really bad. There wasn't much ppl when I visited so service is definitely good. Overall ambience is also very nice and cosy for us to dine and have chit chat with our group of friends. Parking at this area can be extremely challenging. I parked quite far away and have to walk a bit to this place. Would I recommend this place? Definitely yes to try and then you can decide if you would like to come more after that. 😉

5 star Indian restaurant experience! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very upmarket. Only issue was that 1 dish ordered on the menu, which we requested as a gravy was dry because of a "printing error". The curries were great, and rich in flavour, with the right amount of spice added. The dry dish - Chicken 65 was fairly standard. The tandoori chicken 🍗 plate was great, perfect seasoning and marination. Staff were very friendly, despite some miscommunication and spoke a variety of Indian dialects. Great location for a nice fancy dinner if you feel like dressing up. Probably not recommended for those on a budget / backpackers.

Overall would recommend this place. The service was friendly, the portions were very decent for the price and the place was clean, air conditioned and comfortable. Definitely worth the hype. {The Food} We ordered so much. Would recommend trying the regular pani puri. It’s a crispy shell filled with potatoes and some veg and comes with a spiced (but not spicy) sauce you fill it with. Butter Garlic Naan - fresh garlic, not too thin and not too thick/doughy. Can’t go wrong! Chicken Masala Tandoori - the chicken was so juicy and tender. Very flavorful without being overpowering. Pretty decent sized chunks. Comes with a chutney. Kodhi Paneer - curry with paneer (cheese) cubes and vegetables. Not too spicy. Vegetable Samosas - everyone makes their samosas their own way. This one seemed to be flatter and less doughy than the ones I’m used to. Filled with potatoes and shredded cabbage. Not bad but personally not my favorite. Gobi Manchurian - cauliflower coated with some sort of flour, tossed in a Manchurian sauce. Very flavorful and would recommend trying Manchurian! The sauce is slightly sweet, slightly spicy and sticky. Paneer Fried Rice - kind of bland… no sauce, just some peas, carrots, green onions and crispy paneer. Not bad but nothing to write home to. Vegetable Biryani - flavor packed rice with vegetables. Comes with a thin yogurt cucumber sauce.

The food is really good! It’s my first time to taste India food. Mr.Harsha is kind and sweet, he is doing good service ! My families are very happy to have dinner here tonight! Will recommend my friends to come over!

Tried the mix fried rice(mutton, chicken, egg, prawns), malabar biriyani, dahi puri, chicken tikka, lime mint cooler and chicken sizzling. And my most fav is their nandu rasam (no pic), dahi puri was damnnnn yummmmyyyy and their chicken tikka was rich in flavours. Should bring my family next time 😍
