Most of the food quality was just average for us. Ambience is OK. There is parking available in front of the restaurant. Staff is very friendly and there is not a long wait. Its not filled during the weekdays. They have an open style kitchen. Even though the presentation of the food looks nice, we were not very satisfied with food taste. Price of the menu is on the high end.

Found this place on Google recommendation and went to try their food. Reached there at around 2:30pm, almost closing after lunch. We were given a seat and a menu was given to us, we ordered our food i.e. mutton roghan josh, butter masala paneer, Hyderabadi briyani, garlic naan and for desert we ordered mango kulfi and gajar halwa. After taking our order we were served with papad & chutney as a starter. Food arrived after a short wait, the garlic naan was very nice and soft, the mutton was also tender and cooked to perfection but little bit bland for my taste so I requested for some green chillies. Next was the paneer butter masala and it was great, loved the taste. The briyani was cooked well with ample mutton in it. All in all the food was really good. What I loved the most was the gajar halwa and mango kulfi, they were simply great tasting. Prices are on the higher side of the scale but it's worth paying for the quality once in a while. Recommended to try at least once for either lunch or dinner.

Cut throat price, butter chicken masala has citrus taste?? This thing tasted more like chicken madras, rm34 for the curry and rm10 for biryani with this kind quality? First and last time for me. Pathetic

Our first clue was the place was empty when we walked in and we were the only customer while we were there. There was also no fine smell of Indian food when you entered the restaurant which I always use as a first gauge as to how the food will be. This is Northern Indian food which we generally love. The food was just not very exciting. It did not taste bad, but did not have a lot of flavor. The service was good, the atmosphere was OK, but the prices were a bit high overall. We enjoyed the samosa. The chicken korma was OK but lacked flavor. The garlic naan was pretty good, but the cheese naan had an odd flavor that we did not care for. The biryani rice was well rice - again OK, but did not expect much from this. The bhindi masala was very bad - it was mostly onions with very little okra. The lamb kofta was OK, but again the flavors were just not there. Not a place I would recommend or return to.

For arab customer be careful about the price because the price in Arabic menu is more expensive than English menu .. see the added photo as example

Food doesnโ€™t match the description and youโ€™re paying for something which you can get at the roadside . Been a frequent diner but the food quality just totally went down the drain .

The food sucks. The dhal became smelly within 1hours. This portion is Rm20 bucks plus. Regret for trying for first time for mother's day. I bought chicken and lamb briyani but there was only few pieces of chicken and lamb. I would not suggest for foodie.

Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious butter chicken and fish. Celebrated birthday here and the staff were sttentive and good. Only issue was that the cashier billed the wrong amount ( billed us for food we did not order). Luckily this was rectified promptly after I checked tge receipt

Third time dining at this restaurant. I was disappointed again. Wait service was ok. Waitress needs to learn to keep her fingers out of the food when serving, especially after picking up dirty plates without washing her hands. Never cleaned menus after customers touched them. Never cleaned used placemats after customers ate on them. Mint was weak as usual. Masala tea terribly weak. Food was average. Probably will not return anytime soon.

Taste is good based on Arabic theme. Tandoor items are good but too much costly. Vegetarians please please avoid.

This is some of the best Indian food I've ever had--the combination of quality, portion size, authenticity (Northern Indian), service, and ambience make for a 5-star experience. We ordered several dishes and all of them were good--my favorite was the chicken kadai--incredible flavor. They even made non-dairy modifications to all of the dishes for me, which many places won't accommodate. If you want amazing Indian food in a nice environment with friendly service, come here. If you're looking for cheap Indian food, go to a hawker stall.

The food was delicious and we are hooked on Northern Indian food from now on. Our favorite dish was the chicken masala. Service was quite good. Our only complaint was the constant banging as a staff member cleaned cutlery and tossed it into a drawer. That should have been done before the restaurant opened.

North Indian style restaurant that is now halal certified. They no longer serve alcohol to customers. The dishes are tasty but could be a bit spicier for my palette and are slightly over salted.

The quality of food to me is slightly better than any similar North Indian Restaurant in Penang although they are on the pricier side. The Chicken Butter Masala is good. They have good Briyani as well but the winners are the desserts, Rasmalai is my fav. I have to credit their hospitality, very accommodating and great service.

The place is beautiful and service was good but oh my god the food... Honestly how is this Indian/Pakistani food???? The naans are fine but i had butter chicken, Malai Kofta and palak paneer and it seriously taste like flour was added to in the gravies and it didn't help with flavour. I mean let's at least give good food. Maybe for a non Indian this is good Indian food but honestly there are better places to have your meal.

Great Indian food! I have been searching for thick creamy, not so spicy curries in Penang for a while now, and this place fulfilled my dream! I had the beef curry and paneer butter masala. I ordered via Grabfood. Food came hot and fresh. Very clean and neat packaging. Didnโ€™t have a long waiting time either. Would definitely visit their restaurant soon!

Unreasonably Expensive We ordered one โ€œDhaal Tarkaโ€, one โ€œButter Chikenโ€ , 2 โ€œTandoori Rotisโ€ & one naan. The bill turned out to be 69.20RM!! One tandoori roti or naan costs 5.50RM. Is there a justification for such a high price just for a roti which should not be more than 1~2 RM? Besides the roti was very thin and the naan tasted like Pita bread. Although the food was fine but the extremely high rates put us off.

Food is pretty alright, I like their lamb briyani and chicken vindaloo, but the portions are small to justify the hefty price tag. Comfortable place with easy parking though!

One of the greatest place for having North Indian food in Penang. Location is 4-5 kms from Georgetown. Parking is very much sorted. Paid parking in the compound and free parking in next building. Taste of foods is amazing.. Service is next level.. Staff is really cheerful and polite. Only thing they can improve upon is increasing their manpower.

Unplanned choice upon entering this restaurant, but it was a good choice for family seating. Food portion is huge for one person for us that we had to pack the balance to bring home. The mandy rice and briyani are good. The vegetable dishes are good too.

Well me as a person that loves Indian food, me visiting different kind of restaurants budget once, and average, I can say that this restaurant only makes it look like there goof at making Indiana food, so here is why my rating is so low. There is no food I usually would eat in other Indiana restaurants, the food is really oily compared to other places. I see no sauces at all. They brought samosa without a single sauce Exception is the green one that's spicy.

We were well received and the decor is kind of upscale (cutlery on the heavier side). Flavours are North Indian, meaning they have less aggressive punch than most other Indian restaurants here.

Ordered roti nan butter n tandori chiken.taste superb definatly will go again. The staff also very humble and helpfull. No action, all very gud. Parking need to find front or sometimes at the back. For taste and price is reasonable with the vibe inside. Overall very pleasent.will try some other menu next.

Worst Chana Masala we ever had and we have had a lot around the world! . It was no tomato sauce, no taste, no spices, not hot, no fresh Coriander, no ginger, nothing, just Chickpeas floating in OIL, FLOATING. . You could see like half centimeter of oil in the bottom of the dish. We complained to Grab and we got refund for this horrible experience. Not good start for Indian food in Penang.

Extremely slow service and samosas ordered as starters were cold from the inside though they were replaced by the staff. Masala tea was not too great too. Other than that, food is great but bit pricey. Portion seems to be a little bigger compared to the one in Perai.

Amazing quality food and SUPER friendly service. Definitely some of the best Indian food I have ever had. It was all very well seasoned and prepared. We had the chicken tikka Masala ( we requested it to be prepared without any dairy and they happily obliged), the chana masala, the daal, and the chicken kadai. All of them were delicious! My boyfriend and I have been traveling through south east Asia for the past two months and this was the best service we have received anywhere. The servers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I highly highly recommend eating here!
