Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pricing: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered (pardon the blur pics🥲) chicken satay, popiah, cheese baked crab and signature tofu. Food tasted pretty decent and if you’re early/made reservation, you might be seated next to the beach which is awesome (if it doesn’t rain). Tea/water is refilled frequently. Parking is free in the small compound but if you parked along the road you drive in, might have to pay RM3 to the ‘watcher’ at night/weekends. Overall a pleasant experience especially if you come around sunset time. You can head over to the beach to catch some fishing boats and sea breeze.

The worst dinner I ever had in penang, super bad service, super bad food. Only thing is a beach view.. The fried noodle is soaked with oil and tomato sauce, the vege taste like rubber, the fish..... Taste like it was from last century! The service... U better make sure u scream to get attention in order to get anything u need... Walau yeh... I think I had not been so such a bad restaurant in past 20 years.

The restaurant is located by the beach and it is crowded with people. However, the staffs were indeed friendly and attentive. We love the comfortable environment where it is very breezy. Their food was good. Definitely will go for their spring rolls again. RECOMMENDED!

I caught up with my Penang friends at Ocean Green after a long drive from KL. The restaurant offers a splendid view of the ocean. It has a rustic feel. My friends gave us a treat and a feast. The menu was wide. We have friend oyster, fried vegetables, steamed fish in Cantonese style, fried squid, the signature cheese crab and satay. We have other dishes too but every dish is a delight. The cheese crab is something very unique. It has cheese blended with crab meat and other ingredients. The satay is another winner. The chili is divine. Overall experience was a good. Customer service is average but hey we did not come for the service but the food.

A seafront seafood eatery right in the heart of Georgetown! Busy restaurant, best to call ahead for reservations. Elderly serving team runs the place smoothly. All the dishes were on point. Particularly love the fried spring chicken and oyster omelette. Satay and spring rolls were great to go with beer. Parking limited, we saw cars parked along the small alley all the way to main road. A great place to chill for sure.

I like the location. Next to the beach in the middle of town. Place is clean and the service is very good and attentive. It's an very well ventilated by sea breeze. Access is tricky so pay attention to your GPS. Food is superb. Must have the fried spring rolls with crabmeat, the Taiwanese style fried oyster omelette, the fresh poached prawns, the Thai taufu and chicken satay. Pork free so everyone can eat here.

Had to wait abit for service and many ingredients were oos. Couldn't try their crabs or cuttlefish. Had their baked cheese crab, steam prawns and cod fish tho. Baked cheese crab was very savoury. I love it. Prawns and cod fish were fresh and tasty too!

One of the older restaurant establishment at Penang around 42 years and counting , we made reservations , parking was steep and limited , restaurant facing the beach seaside , the host recommended us the small spring chicken which is a must have , fresh steam prawn was springy , satay the sauce should be separated as some of my friends can’t take spicy food , hainanese spring roll also another must try here , cheesy stuffed crab was flavorful , fried seafood rice got wok hei and fragrant. Overall nice ambience , food and attentive service from staff .

Food quality is fine. Atmosphere is decent. Service is is below our expectation - we were told to self service order our own dish from the menu and yet, they missed 1 of the dishes! In the end, they ran out of the ingredients and proposed a different ingredient (different type of vegetable). Price is slightly above average. Recommended dish: Salted Egg Prawn and the fried chicken

Nice place for good food. As it's pork free, best to order seafood. The buttered prawns are big sized but less buttery feel. The deep fried squid portion is huge for a regular size. Tasted a hint of curry and deep fried to crispy. The chicken satay is very chunky and flavorful with the sauce grilled together. Nice ambience too as it faces the sea.

An old establishment with furnishing and atmosphere like a coffee shop. Food is generally delicious if your choice is correct. Avoid plain stir fried veggie as it is not worth the price. Toilet is across to an ancient hotel. Don't expect a 5 star toilet!! Parking can be a challenge during weekend.

We actually ordered more food but forgot to take pictures as we are too hungry! The chicken satay is outstanding! Well never thought that I'll be eating satay at Penang and definitely they are not serving the usual peanut sauce and they top the satay with their chili spicy sauce instead. The fried spring chicken is also a must try! The rest of the dishes are all quite tasty. The only drawback is the price of their seafood. When we where there, there's some construction at the front of the restaurant facing the beach. Toilet is short walk to the Paramount hotel which is absolutely acceptable.

chicken satay is very good and is a must try if you come here. cheese crab is also really good, one is not enough per person the other dishes we tried are average, may be able to find better somewhere else a good seafood place, quite pricey

Taste: the satay is a must try. Fried Black Pomfret 3 Rasa was really good. Fish was fresh and fried to perfection. Baked cheese crab was also good. Price: overall meal cost RM280 with fish, prawns, cheese baked crab, vegetables, satay, tofu and fried rice. Pretty reasonable price. Staff: very friendly staff Ambiance: nice sunset view.

Affordable and nice seafood by the sea. Nothing too extravagant but just simple fresh seafood without burning a hole in your pocket. Worth trying!

Very competent zichar restaurant, with very nice and friendly serving ladies. Would say that the chicken satay is a must order, followed by the baked crabs. Will return to try more dishes! Consider coming at 6pm-ish when they open, and make a reservation for the sea-facing tables... Nice view with a breeze:)

I hadn't been here for almost a decade. We arrived just after noon and reservations had been made for 8 pax. The food was served around 25 mins from our arrival. There we more dishes that the photo representation as I forgot to snap all. Overall, the food was good. Only the prawn dish with mantou could be improved in terms of taste. Flies & crows seem to be a problem as this was an al-fresco dining restaurant. Nevertheless, the seaview was a delight as we dined. Parking could be challenging, but we were relatively early and had several choice lots to pick from.

Food was tasty, generous portions and most importantly good and fast service by friendly staff! Seafood dishes are according to weight at market price so be sure to ask for prices when ordering. *If Waze takes you via Aratoon Rd be sure to take left lane after you turn right onto Northam Rd (Sultan Ahmad Shah, at the end of Aratoon) because your destination is almost immediately left along Northam Rd.

Always love coming back to this restaurant. You can get free parking if you come early and park at the restaurant's compound. You will have to pay RM3 if you were to park along the road. The satay is a must try and it is kind of special as there is no peanut sauce to go with it. Good place for big gathering as you get to see the sea too if you reach before 7.40pm

Food is cheap and very tasty! Seafood is fresh and the belacan pairs well with their noodles. The restaurant is located at the seaside and is pretty big and cozy. The view and vibes are enjoyable. Strongly recommend.

One of the time honoured Chinese restaurant in Penang famous for its baked crab casserole, super yummy and most probably the only Chinese Restaurant that serves this dish Well located in the Northam Road area by the beach, this restaurant also serves typical Choo Char dishes and hawker fare like oh chien (oyster omelette) and satay

Very good seafood restaurant in George Town area. Sea food are fresh and tasty. Service is quite okay. Located by the beach and in the same location of very old "Paramount hotel". Prices are moderate with large portion. Recommend!

Ok place... This place has been around forever. Frankly speaking, nothing great about it. Food is decent tasting. Service is effective but not great, overworked, no smiles. The one thing that is overwhelming is the place is next to a drain to the sea and it smells. On the other hand, there's a great view of the sea and offers a great evening view sometimes.

Tried to call for a booking but number was not in service. Every staff seems busy and no one wants to take our order. We are left with a broken menu book to order ourselves. Mantis prawn 300g for rm110++ hmm... Anyway the positive part is its located beside a beach. Environment is quite pleasant for a weekend night and we enjoyed the breeze there.

This was a fuss free place for a great dinner. The prawns and crab were really fresh. The chicken satay had an awesome slightly spicy marinade. The fried chicken and spring roll was also very delicious.

Very bad service, it was full house, not enough staff, if you have elderly, pregnant women or kids (if you’re super hungry) this is not the place. This restaurant use to be good , food is still good but what’s the point when you can’t enjoy it, dishes keep arriving late, lose your appetite only, three dishes served waited 30 mins for rice to be served. Very disappointed, will never return to this restaurant.

This seafood restaurant is always busy with regular customers. I like their satay, baked crab shell and the braised duck. Price is reasonable but not all dishes are nice. Sitting outdoor is nice.

First visit to this relaxing beach resort ambience at 7pm, took a beach walk and photos with the sunset. Highlights not to be missed are satay, baked crab meat with cheese in shell, crispy spring rolls with crab meat and finally chilli crabs. The other usual meat, vegetable, noodles and fried rice dishes are impressive as well. The place is somewhat understaffed for the Saturday evening crowd and do expect some delayed attention, otherwise it’s definitely worth visiting on a non-peak evening. Great ambience and food quality! Easy transport by Grab cars both ways.

The atmosphere is very warm n nice, lovely scenery. The elderly service team did a good job. The foods are quite good taste. However, the price is a bit high .

City location beside the sand beach. Unique. Many local staff who are very friendly and well trained. Nice atmosphere simple and practical for a restaurant. Food I give 8 out of 10. Price is reasonable.

Food quality has taken a dive over the years and is overrated and overpriced now. Spring rolls were ok but the assam fish was not fresh. Claypot seafood tasted bland and looked like no effort went into it despite costing RM70. Baked cheese crab didn't seem fresh anymore. Entire bill for 3 was ~RM270 for baked cheese crab, assam fish, vege, spring rolls and claypot seafood. Ridiculous. Avoid this place and eat elsewhere!
