The food is ok but the view and ambience is fantastic. Would suggest making a reservation before going to make sure you have seats for the sunset. It is in the same location as the beach corner restaurant. Parking cost 7 ringgit. Overall is a good experience. The food price is very reasonable as well. The drinks are not very strong but it is to my preference. Good place to chill and hang out.

It is nice to be here for sunset but do come before 6.30 pm or earlier, sunsets at 6.45 pm - 7 pm. It is quite pack here, so be prepared of the crowd (dining and visitor at the beach. Highly recommended the Thai Fried Rice and Chicken Wing. Chicken satay and jumbo sausage wasn't great. I can say is just average bar food. The cocktails wasn't great. We had Mai Tai and Mojito, it wasn't up to expectations. So just come here to chill and have beer. Their playlist is mostly 00's songs. So was a good experience here with the cold breeze at night. You can ask for mosquitoes coil. There is also Shisha for RM 35. Ordered 2 mains, 3 snacks, 2 cocktail, ice water and a coke for 2 person, total RM 130.35.

None of us has been to #BoraBora@Ferringhi; it is because of their rating on Google Review, so we went to have a look. Since we already had our dinner, we thought it might be a good place for drinks since it is next to the beach ⛱️. Just right after we ordered the drinks, the rain started pouring, and all the customers were running like headless chickens to find shade. None of the wait staff were there to help organise and rearrange the tables for their customers. As our drinks had just arrived, we needed a place to finish our drinks, so we ended up moving to the bar on the first floor. The rain was so heavy, and it even splashed on the in-door table. There wasn't any other table for us to move, so we needed the wait staff to help us wipe the table; the staff said there was any point in wiping the table, and the rain would continue to splash on the table 🙄. Then we said, at least give us some serviette then. Unwillingly, he came and wiped the table and instructed us to move our phones so he could wipe the whole table. Surprisingly the fried calamari and seafood platter was SO GOOD. Super fresh and perfectly cooked. View was calming. However once the sun is down there will be a lot of bugs flying but they give us candles. 10/10 would recommend

100/10 for atmosphere and view, remember to ask for seat closer to beach and near to the middle. We visited on 10 August (Thursday) & there was a fire show at around 9:30pm, absolutely stunning! Sunset was between 6:30pm-7pm, definitely photo worthy. There was a good range of food and drinks choices, food tasted ok, just don’t be too taken aback when they come asking for you to settle the payment first before letting you continue your meal. Just a suggestion for them to separate smoking and non-smoking tables as the table beside us kept smoking every 15-20 minutes and it was quite hard to bear with smell throughout the whole dinner time.

It’s not like the typical restaurant you will encounter in Bali. It’s very original, nothing fancy but you won’t hate it. Love the conflict of local delicacy and beach. They do put in efforts in food I promise. However it feels sad to see that I was sitting, enjoying my meal, the horse is just in front of me, under the sun waiting for another ride

We've been here previously couple of times. It was good back then. Today we frequented this place again and it was a disappointing experience. We ordered sirloin steak and it was such a tiny portion (vape for comparison). Chicken chop was super flat and it was lacking mashed potatoes per menu image. Cheating customers! I hope you buck up your service and provide customers value & quality for what they are paying for. We complained to one of the waiter on the food portion (this one Malay guy), he agreed and said the chef is hardheaded. He stood near our table when we were snapping photos of our food. Anyways, this will be the last us going to this eatery!

This is a nice bar to stay when you want to wait for the sunset and chill. Both food and drink is not that much expensive. Location is near the bus stop going back to Georgetown. And the best part of it. The servers are nice and friendly (specially the Filipina server). 👍

Wonderful place to eat and drink by the beach. But its always crowded so you gotta go early to get a place to see the sunset. Fish and chip was great surprisingly and the cocktail here is very strong. Worth the money for strong drinks 🍻

Beautiful location, at the beach,- very nice view of monkey beach at National park. Crowed before sunset, big enough to find a suitable place inside anyway. Staff is helpful and friendly. You can order by using scan code,- easy and convenient. Food and drinks lack of taste. Pizza dough wasn’t good, cheese could be more tasty, too. I’ll give more stars for better quality of food and drinks. But: if you come here for nightlife 5 stars Sitting at the beach, entertained by life music, stunning fire show,- I’ll for sure come back to that place.

Great place to spend a sunset with friends. The food and the drinks are ok and the service was quite good. Cocktails are around 25MR and beers are around 10. I'd recommend getting there early to reserve a good table, but one issue with that is that you will probably have to sit in the super hot sun while you wait. However, as you can see in the photos, it's totally worth it. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was that the toilets were pretty terrible.

Awesome beach bar, direct access to the beach and there are also tables available on the beach. The food is pretty good and the cost is reasonable. I'm actually very amazed on how pretty the beach is and would definitely come back again so I would also recommend for people visiting Penang to absolutely come here!

Beach bar-cafe on the shore. A large selection of food and drinks. The prices are nice. We enjoyed seafood platter and dry white wine. Even during the deepavali celebration, the waiters tried to fulfill orders quickly. Thank you 😍

My melon margarita was served in a plastic margarita glass... how disappointing. Ordered tenderloin 'medium', but was served 'well done' tenderloin which was not hot or warm either and the portion was very small. Sauce dressing was put in a small plastic cup and placed on top of my plate beside my tenderloin.... BoraBora is not up to its standard anymore and seriously need a better dining crew service and chef. I applaud the bartender for the margarita as its beautifuly made, except it was served in a plastic margarita glass... Theres nothing 'supreme' about the 'Supreme Nachos' that i ordered as its the same like regular convinient store packed nachos. Jambo sausages,lasagna and sizzling lamb chop was good. Beef mushroom, honey chicken set was not good and cold.

Nice place to chill, friendly staff, got impul off parking, they charge RM 7 for the parking, Indian guy at the parking was very rude, his boss is a Chinese guy he is friendly guy, food is good, we ordered drinks and had dinner followed by coffee, food was awesome kids enjoy the pizza, their grill lamb chops and sizzling lamb chops were awesome too, we ordered lasagna and bolognese spaghetti pasta, everything was awesome, over all it was a great experience to make our evening best

By the beach side. This is a great place to wind down, relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Food and drinks prices are reasonable and the pizza and wedges are pretty good. Outside area are always full towards sunset, make sure you're in early to get a good seat.

However, they demand for minimum spend of RM50 for this sunset view seat. Also required to pay once all foods and drinks are served. Overall is a good experience. They also have designated parking with charge, if not mistaken, is RM6.

Walking distance from our hotel PARKROYAL, cheaper prices than dining at a restaurant inside the resort, AMAZING chicken satay + fried kway teow, and spring rolls were fairly decent. Servers were attentive and friendly. Recommend. There is an Al fresco option on the beach which opens at 5pm but we avoided it due to mosquitoes.

Awful is an understatement. Being a tourist in love with Malaysia, I enjoy the culture and the vibe of the place but my experience in BoraBora made me rethink everything. The service was bad, the waiters were extremely rude, we were told its a no smoking arena and to smokw outside if i needed to(which I was happy to oblige) but there were locals all around smoking away merrily inside the premises . These experiences leave a lasting impression about a place so if you want to steer clear of such double standards, dusty, dirty bottles, bland playlist and lousy service, do not go there! P.S: The price of cocktails here and at the very posh 5 star Shangri La Rasa Sayang is the SAME! Do yourself a favour, skip the plastic rickety chairs and go there instead!

Spent some leisure time with my family trying to catch the sun set at Batu Ferringhi. And this place is just perfect. The dining location is on the beach itself without roof. Really enjoy the sight and feel of the sea breezes while with no hurry enjoying some snacks and drinks. The snacks taste good. Plenty of food choices from snacks, desserts to main courses. The drinks are also good with wines included. A great place to lay back. Sufficient carpark just right in front of the restaurant. And most of all just in front of long stretch beautiful Ferringhi beach. You can try out some water sports or do horse ridding as well.

Finally visit this restaurant that is very popular at Ferringhi. Nice place to chill out with a cold beer watching the sun set. Priceless!

An addition to the already popular Bora Bora. Located on the top floor of the new Ferringhi Walk mall overlooking the beach. Friendly service. It wasn't crowded during weekday sunset. Just an okay view as there are trees blocking. Prices are typical for the area. Paid parking available within the mall or lots nearby. We enjoyed a couple of drinks. Beers were cold while the vanilla milkshake was creamy & nice. Also shared an order of tom yam popcorn chicken which was crunchy & packed with flavor. Went well with the beers. Worth a visit but nothing really special. Better to sit by the beach where one can appreciate the views, sunset & people watch.

Its ok here. Just lucky that they're on the beach. Bar is ok, drinks are the usual range. The main problem is that the food is terrible and hugely overpriced. Best to go to Long Beach for dinner after a couple of drinks here.

Nice atmosphere.. certain sitting area require min spending. Min RM 50 for terrance sitting. Min spending for the hut sitting also. It’s nice to sit and chill with a glass cocktail. Haven’t try any of their maincourse. Will return for food next time.. Good place, recommend to visit! Very limited parking space, recommend to park at the open car park opposite, RM 7 per entry.

Cafe at the beach in batu feringghi. Cool to just chill, have a drink and watch the sunset. Price for beers are pretty decent, rm15-18 per bottle. Come early though because the place tend to get full in the evening and you might not get a seat outside. Food wise can’t comment as we only had the french fries.

Superb place to chill with loved ones over sunset by the beach. Reasonable pricing on the food and drinks but parking is still charged RM7 per entry. If given complimentary parking for the patrons would be great. Better to call earlier to make reservation for the table near the beach as it gets easily even during weekdays.

Fast Service. The taste of food is also good. The staff is friendly. The location is just in front of the beach that makes it a great restaurant to visit when going to Batu Ferringhi Beach.

Sorry I didn’t get to know each one of them but Shah was extremely helpful & attentive. I definitely love this place. The selfish part of me hope that not many will know about this gem. Delightful experience

Went to BoraBora very frequently, it has the ambience of holiday feels. Not to mention, their Bora Bora Patty beef burger is the one meal I ever order 😋

A nice little dining place where you can sit by the beach and view the sunset while enjoying good food. We had their pizza and seafood platter. Overall, I would think their food is OK but the ambience and the location did added a few plus points to it. They serve both local and western food at reasonable tourist price. Their drinks are also not exhortationly priced too. I would suggest that you would patron the place slightly before the sunsets and enjoy the evening. Nothing beats dining by the beach.
