The coffee and desserts here are good and ambience is comfortable. Try the peanut butter chocolate cake, it's pretty good. Great place for outing with family and friends. There is a cute marvel avengers art behind the cafe, for Instagram moment. The only setback is there are mosquitoes sometimes. Bring along mosquito repellent just in case. Came here looking for a light dessert , thought they would have waffles as shown online but they don't. Instead they only had pancakes and toast. We ordered the charcoal honey glazed toast with earl grey tea ice cream. Tbh it was quite good though way over priced for toast and ice cream. They have a wide selection of coffee and cakes and also serve breakfast. The service was good though?

If you're looking for a Lava egg yolk croissant, this is the place for that. Yes, it's a sin of having that croissant. But you just can't avoid it as it's really damn good. Their Chocolate drink is fragrant, honestly, one of the best chocolate drink that I've tried.

Nice cafe with interesting decorations . Very good place to sit and enjoy a coffee or some light foods We came on the afternoon after realising it’s too hot outside and came in for a kombucha . They have a whole fridge worth of kombucha and I had the Japanese one which was nice

I recently visited Coffee Affairs Roasters and overall, I had a nice experience. The coffee was good - we tried a couple and they were all nice. The ambience of the shop was also warm and welcoming, with comfortable seating and a cozy atmosphere. However, there were a few areas that could use some attention. The washrooms were in need of some TLC - they were a bit run down and could use some cleaning and maintenance. The same was true for the back area of the shop - it was a bit cluttered and could benefit from some organization. Despite these small issues, I would recommend Coffee Affairs Roasters to anyone looking for a nice cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, a respite from the afternoon sun. The staff were friendly and the overall experience was enjoyable.

Awesome cafe here, had a latte' and ended up buying two bags of their self-roasted coffee bean. Very cozy ambience here, Staff was very friendly as well, asked them about certain things regarding the local delicacies that I can buy back as gifts to Singapore (Arrived via Dream cruises from Sg). And the staff was very kind to explain to me.

One of the best kombucha by far in Penang. I recommend Pilsner kombucha. Coffee thumbs up 👍 Creamy mushroom spaghetti is nice. Creamy and mushroomy. Lots of mushroom and ham. Fish and chips, sedap. It is a great place to chill after a busy day

One of the best cafes I've been so far... wait a minute, it's the only one I've visited this time around. Amazing food, you'll love their salty egg croissant. Oh my god, oozing salted egg with that soft outer croissant, this will make you crave it even more. Their cake selection too is really something. The coffee, I had a latte, was really nice. They showcase a rustic layout with stools and chairs on wooden tables. There's an outdoor area and it's clean. You can use cash or debit at the counter. The baristas and waiters really make you feel at home. Friendly and cheerful.

I wanted a coffee this morning and decided to try this place. So glad I did. Coffee was delicious and well made. I had the Thor pancake which was amazing and savory. And to top it off they make their own kombucha and I don't usually like kombucha but I liked this one. Friendly staff too. A+

Atmospheric café with its own large selection of coffees. There are also cakes, desserts and “real” food. Food is lovingly decorated and presented. You have to order and pay at the checkout. But you can just come in and sit down and then the menu will be brought to you.

This place is great. They offer a substantial lineup of beans here, roasted in-house. The Ethiopian actually smelled like chocolate. Not chocolate-y. Like there was chocolate in the bag. Unreal. The guy who prepared my siphon was super precise. He was a coffee surgeon. They heated the beans in the siphon for three minutes at a low temperate and the coffee came out smoooooth. Good AC here, too!

Cosy cafe near Penang Peranakan Mansion. Coffee is not bad and food is quite tasty too. Service was a bit slow as we waited about 20-25 mins to get our food. Cafe food is not cheap, this is still ok.

Came here to grab a quick coffee and use the wifi. It's close to the ferry terminal to Langkawi. Service was fast and friendly. The wifi password was on the receipt. The décor is nice. The coffee isn't cheap 10 Rm for an americano. Nice atmosphere

A top contender for best coffee in Penang. On flavour and range of coffee available you can't fault it and a coffee lover won't be disappointed. My 'Santos' was perfect. Even the range of preparation mentions is impressive (my water was heated in a round bottomed boiling flask over a Bunsen burner). Two problems: ambience and price. The place is a bit dark and once you get towards the back, amongst the pots of fermenting kombucha, it looses it's professionalism. It doesn't match the excellent coffee. Price is ok... But once you start ordering off the specials board it's a bit steep.

Great vibes. Tried one of their kombucha and found the flavour quite strong very nice. Coffee was also good, I tried out the Mocha Rose latte, strength of the rose was overpowering for my tastebuds but otherwise it was good.

Amazing kombucha selection! Lovely staff, nice setting with A/C and wifi.

We went for the coffee, but stayed for 2 extra Kombucha drinks. They have an extensive variety of over 60 flavors, all made in-house! Folks were kind and knowledgeable, and it was a great vibe!

A place to enjoy good hand pour coffee with quite some bean selections, my cup of Ethiopia tastes floral & sweet with bold body. The interior quite dark for me but maybe suitable if you are looking for a chill space to work with your laptop.
