Omg I love the place so much drinks and everything is on point. Just parking and the space is quite small. But it’s quiet and nice to have some hangout with some friends catching up chilling chatting. The matcha yesssss ✨✨✨ and the teapot is refillable

A small, beautiful cafe nestled in a quiet area. They specialise in tea and cakes, particularly of the flavours of matcha, hojicha and durian. I tried their hojicha latte and matcha Swiss roll and they were delicious. My friend loved the tea and durian cheesecake. Highly recommend this place! The desserts are very matchalicious! If u are a matcha lover, this is a must try place! But bare in mind that the place is small and there's only one staff which is the boss who works there, so expect a longer waiting time if it is crowded. Take aways are available to cut short the waiting time.

Deliciously decadent drinks and dessert. Matcha cheesecake was to die for. Matcha tea was full bodied and authentically crafted. Limau wakocha was refreshing. Cool and comfortable ambience to chat and chill. You'll need to walk here as the nearest roadside parking is a distance away. No step-free access. Limited seating.

The matcha burnt cheesecake had a very gooey texture, very soft and melts in your mouth. The Swiss roll on the other hand is just average, taste is very bland and is slightly overpriced for the size. Highly recommend the burnt cheesecake and the drinks

Despite the high review from others, the dessert and drinks i picked was underwhelming today. Only fan no AC. Lychee Wakocha overpowered by the lychee taste and diluted by the ice, barely any black tea taste. Roll cake at KL price. Cake doesnt have a fragrant houjicha taste and even eggy taste. Cream and the tangerine tasted like something that doesnt match well together... Cream doesnt feel light. Dango was fine, nothing special.

This matcha swissroll was one of the best I ever had! On the other hand, my iced matcha latte was only alright - forgot to ask if they had an oat milk option. Place is quite small - there is a maximum time limit of one hour per group/table. We were lucky to arrive just as one group had 10 minutes left so we only waited for about 10 minutes. No air conditioning so it can be quite hot.

Always my favourite tea place. Love the umami flavour of matcha, perfectly balance the strong vegetal flavour of matcha and creaminess of the milk. Their hojicha and matcha latte are always my favourite to go option. Specifically the little cafe tucked in the small alley of Georgetown gives you the mystery yet comfort experience.

What a hidden gem tucked away down a small alleyway. We came on a Thursday so it wasn’t busy and ordered a few things to share: - Matcha burnt cheesecake - Yam dango - Matcha latte - Iced houjicha latte Cheesecake had a really great matcha taste. Dango was a unique treat with some bits of yam pieces inside. Both drinks were great in terms of the matcha and houjicha flavours - so they definitely don’t skimp on ingredients. Would totally come back again and try more treats!

Our must have matcha everytime we are back in Penang. Try their ceremonial grade if you have not. Hojicha, cakes etc. are all good too. Basically have not had something that isn't pleasing at Komichi.

Had their hojicha swiss roll and matcha latte. Will recommend the swiss roll, it has small slices of jackfruits as the filling (adds a refreshing touch to the dessert) but only order the matcha latte if you like matcha without much milk. Really cute place nonetheless, worth the try!

The food is just ordinary (matcha dango). The drink (matcha with passion fruit drink) is interesting. To me, it's worth to be tried. Please note that for every visitor, you need to purchase at least 1 food/beverage. The waiter is so cool. What she did just let us view the menu and place the order. You get to enjoy a quiet and green place here.

Nice drinks. Like the Hojicha Ice latte that I ordered. The shop closes at 6pm . Limited space to dine in. No air conditioning but there are standing fans. Pastries sells out fast. Like the ambiance with the greeneries

Visited before 12pm, the owner greeted us and explained the menu for the day, ordering done at entrance before entering. Simple peaceful place with nice homemade drinks and swiss roll. Also bought back a bottle of matcha biscuit and it was superb!

Small cozy cafe at the back street. To be honest this is the best macha dessert I’ve ever had, must try all of it! They have limited number of table, so only allowed 1 hour dining per table.

A hidden cafe, I guess. It's deep in the street but not too far from the main road, Lebuh Carnavon. Surrounded by all the green plant outside the shop, making the place one of the peaceful cafes you can find in Georgetown. I ordered 2 drinks: Matcha Latte & Iced Green Tea, total of RM24 which is affordable. (1 person must order 1 drink/dessert) I love the shop and atmostphere so far.
