😐 Mee Sotong was very nice, Rojak was perfect to mee! Place is crowded on weekend and evenings! Beautiful Ocean view! Buildings are a bit run down. Therefore, I give a lower rating. Lots of space to eat with your Travel Group or Family. 😉 People often mention good, coconut, court, sotong,

One of the best place to try Penang tasty hawker food. Got variety of choice and price was reasonable. Environment was clean and staff are kind too.

When in Penang remember to come saviour the best Mee Sotong, Hailam noodles, Fish n Prawns Chop and coconut shake. After the sumptuous food walk around and enjoy the breezy Esplanade with old beautiful architectures

If there is one thing that I would strongly suggest for improvement for this food court, it would be the hygiene. This place is run down as we understood of its years of operation but the stall operators or at least the enforcement officers should do regular check and ensure hygiene is upkeep.

There's nothing much here in this food court other than the famous mee sotong. Where people used to line up for this amazing squid noodle. We local called it mee sotong. Mee means noodles and sotong refers to squid. Opposite the stall there is one Hainanes Western Food. Love the chicken chop and fish n chips. Much of a tourist spot now but if you go during non peak hours, the wait will be short. Avoid lunch time, 1130 to 130. Beside the food court is the iconic Fort Cornwallis. After having your meal, can take a walk to Esplanade sea side.

My go-to as its only a walking distance away from office making it convenient and hassle free from all the troubles looking for a parking spot as finding a place to park can be a huge challenge. Tried all the stalls in it but my personal favourite would be ordering food from Tomyam Narathiwat. The one in picture is Tomyam Fried Rice it taste really good but wish the portions was a bit more for that RM5. Pairing it up with a drink from Najib cafe (right beside) is a bliss. I also love their Tomyam soup & other meals as well but again the portion was small & price towards higher end. But overall its a good place to find variety of food but can burn your pocket at the same time.

You can come here to get halal food. Food wasn’t bad. Place was kinda dirty. Sellers were quite nice except for the “drinks station” where the seller let people queue-jumping.

We went for Hameed Pata Special Mee for the mee sotong and had coconut shake as drinks. Long queue but moving quite fast. The coconut shakes is really nice.

Famous Hainan chicken chop, hainan fish and chip mee goreng sotong. All are childhood food till now. Taste superb with good portionings. Whoever would love to try out the food must be willing to queue and wait especially during lunch hours and time between 3 to 4pm or even holidays.

The Mee Sotong I would say is the best in Penang. There are a lot of variety of drinks sold here. The Chinese Westernfood is cheap and good.

The Hainanese Western food here is very tasty, especially the chicken chop which is crispy on the outside but tender inside. Quality is maintained over the years. Drinks stall beside it serves thick honey lemon for RM2.50. The food court, built around a huge old tree, is much nicer & cooler after renovation. Location is good for having a meal while running bank errands.

Great food court right next to Fort Cornwallis with lots of choices. Apart from the Mee Sotong that needs no further introduction/recommendation, the Chinese/Hainanese stall handled by an elderly couple and their son serves really delicious and affordable western food and fried Hainanese dishes. Definitely worth a try. Not really sure about the other stalls but I have eaten a few of them and so far no complains.
