Just a normal jeruk stall... Movement are control. You better choose to come at a nonpick time or else you will endup queuing along time

Proudly made in Penang. They have more than just jeruk madu (sweet pickled fruits) made from mango, kedondong/amra, papaya, sengkuang (sweet turnip), salak (snakefruit), guava to nutmeg and perhaps much more. Don't forget the dip sauces and other speciality. This store front is situated where little India is but it is not easy to park and waiting alongside risk blocking traffic coming out from the lane. Other outlets all over the island or other parts of the country may be more accessible.

💢 Many people during peak holidays but the queue for payment was quite fast. Their stock will be restock. Worry not they are freshly made. They even selling souvenir & other dry products. Parking is always an issue here but now you may park at multi storey parking.

This shop is famous for the tourists. Apart from their famous jeruk madu, many SME products can be found here. Reasonable price. Crowded on holidays. It is difficult to get a parking lot in this area.

I don't think need to come here specifically to buy, because for items like Mango Sala (both yellow and green mango) they only sell in small packet now. Which is 34% more expensive even if you buy 3 for RM 10. Buy 1 packet even more expensive, RM 4 for 160 gram only. A bit waste of time to come here queue to buy. No stock anyway, I thought here is HQ, but here no stock/expensive (sell small packet only).

    1. This is Penang's de facto shop for jeruk with all sorts of types and packing. 2. To me, the nicest ones are the sticky honey coated ones but messy to eat while on the move, best left packed. 3. It is normal to find loads of tour coaches parked outside while passengers rush down for last minute buy but we have the police from the opposite side of the road to control traffic flow.

The special of this jeruk is that they do not cause side effects to asthma. Not too sweet. Place just a walking distance from Padang Kota. Every product Pak Ali is available here. The price is reasonable. But pre-pack items do not have all types of jeruk@pickles. Recommended to choose from loose and pack.

It is a must visit place & buy some fruit pickle when you visit Georgetown. Could have been better if they reorganized the shop for customers comfort since they already been doing business for a long time, so i guess it is time they need to improve their shop look & feel.

Price slightly cheaper than the Chinese shop next door. 1/2 kg of pickled mango is 6.80 here. It cosy RM 7 at the Chinese stall nearby

A lot of people here even the covid cases is sky rocket. As usual very nice pickled fruits to bring back to KL. Definitely going to other branches as long queue here. They have diversify there products by selling their very own candy and drinks. Cash only which was very very disappointed.

The must have souvenirs when u in Penang for your friends and beloved ones. Local fruit pickles. Located at the centre of Georgetown. Easily acceasible. At this time writing, the price is RM10 for any three package. Its very affordable. You might to come early as SOP wont allow you too many in one time. Come early as the stock selling very fast.
