Covid killed this once simple but vibrant mall leaving it with so many empty unoccupied units from level 3 onwards.( see my vids) too many booths and shops selling phones and the likes. Felt really like a ghost town . I hope things will restore back to normal soon. I really miss the good old days.

Outdated shopping mall with the top floors being vacant. However there are shops that sell cloths and shoes with very reasonable price. The centre court of ground floor always got even to attract more consumers.

A little more shaby compared to the nearby 1st Avenue Mall but still packed with lots of stores selling a variety of items, including fashion, mobile accessories, pharmacies, etc. If you're on a lookout for bargain stuff, then this is the mall to be at. Just go browse around and you will know what i mean. Overall it was an ok experience shopping here.

Lots of shops not in business anymore. Nothing much to shop for. Got bridge link to 1st Avenue and Komtar. Parking fees is more cheaper if compare to 1st Avenue.

In fact there are 4 different malls close to each other and close to the bus station and it was for me like a labyrinth. There sre 5 levels in Prangin Mall, but many shops are closed. The mall is very clean, you can find a few usual brands, but there's no real atmosphere in the Atrium A : it's not a warm, welcoming place with a special thematic, not any special design, just an hypermarket. There is also an Atrium B, where you can find on each level different stores (hair dresser, camera, "court food stalls", small shops, it's more popular.

There are many varieties of clothings such as H&M,Uniqlo,Brands Outlet and various other stores for clothing.Addition to that, the clothes have reasonable price and outstanding quality. Overall, it is a great place to hang out with friends and family. I really recommend this place to everyone.

One of the malls in the city of Penang, Malaysia. In this mall there are cellphone accessories, simcards, selling cellphones too. A souvenir center in the city of Penang, lots of t-shirts, clothes and bags that can be brought for families in Indonesia. Prices vary, not too expensive and negotiable. For places to eat, there are not too many places to eat, there are Burger King, Burger McD, Pizza Hut, Mixue, Japanese Food, and Bakery.

Surprisingly, this is a pretty self sufficient mall. The Ground Floor is packed with mobile and gadgets shops and once you get to the next level, the shopping can be alil more interesting. There are 2 wings to this mall and provides for an access to 1st Ave Mall too via a link bridge. Happy shopping!

Visited the mall during the Mooncake festival season in 2022. Not a big crowd in this shopping mall located in the city centre. The many stalls here have the spirit to continue operating. May the business prosper!

You can find a lot of things in the mall The mall also is popular with handphones, computers and other electronic gadgets shops, but do practice some caution when getting them. The environment looks pale and old, management needs to revamp the place up.

Local mall. One of 5 within a 300 metre distance. Comprises food, electrical, clothing stores. Prices are generally competitive. I go to get my phone/computer fixed when necessary. Good for computer ware.

Itโ€™s is just next to The Top, komtar. The building is completely for shopping dudes. The ground floor having lots of option for mobile and some cloths and then starting from the 2 level . McD and all verities off stores starts and goes till 5-7 levels. You must once visit to try the price for cloths or mobile shopping. If not for such shopping?? Come for McD. ๐ŸŸ ๐Ÿ˜‚

Quite a busy Mall, linked to 3 other major Malls like 1st Avenue, Komtar and ICT Digital Mall. Prangin Mall houses retail outlets selling clothing, shoes, restaurants etc...and the Ground Floor is with different types of branded handphone. Frequented by locals and tourists alike.

For tourist, be aware some phone shops in the ground floor will shortchange you. Always check the currency you are handing them and count your change. An Uncle in the phonecards counter near Vivo entrance is always doing this. ๐Ÿฅด

The mall is adjacent to Komtar and is connected to it. One needs to walk through the covered way. There is ample parking. There are more business outlets in the mall than Komtar after the pandemic. Not many food outlets though.

Actually not that bad of a mall. Got here on weekdays so not so many people. Got H&M for casual shopping , alikhsan and royal sporting house sport shop if you wanna buy sport stuff, suprisingly got A&W which is rare in Penang. Always love the coney dogs. New village grocer is opening soon which is nice too for fruits and vege shopping. Got tonnes of ATM on the ground floor which is convenient. Not sure on the parking though since I park outside for motorcycle. Overall a good mall if you hate crowds hahaha

Honestly, one of the best malls I've ever been to. I envy those who live near Prangin Mall lol. A lot of my favorite food establishments are there like Texas Chicken and The Chicken Rice Shop, has the best arcade in Penang ever; like honestly, I always thought we'd only have an arcade in Queensbay Mall, but I've been convinced otherwise, Prangin Mall has the best arcade. I've been there once or twice and it's honestly a pleasure going there when I have the chance to.

I applaud the sellers in so many outlets of this mall. Despite the number of customers are not that many in the mall, they serve you amicably and they are being very helpful too. There are a lot of phone service and product shops other than luggage and bag shops so do drop by at this mall to get yourself the products you need. I do hope more customers will come. These businesses really need a great boost and support.

I Have been stop go to prangin mall due to the ground for car park fee is too expensive regardless whether you spent for just half an hour to have your lunch there. The fees for call park is RM 4.once u enter ,they will reqest u to pay at once.i used to go there for 4 times per week . I will not go there until their parking payment machine is completely repaired.

I went with my wife to do some leisure shopping but discovered to our dismay the mall has lost its appeal & glory. I would say 80% of shops are untenanted. Only the first two levels are occupied, the other 4 levels felt like a ghost town. So sorry to see the plc declined so drastically.

There was a lot of shopping, but it would have been nice to have a centralized food court one completely halal and the other not so halal at different floors. Prangin Mall is huge and centrally located. It is a great place to pick up a sim card and change money on arrival. There are plenty of options to do both and there are the food options, phones for sale and clothes. English is spoken by all.

This is an old mall. There are two wings in the mall. More shops are on the main wing, making it livelier. The other wing has more empty shop lots. The rise of a new mall right next to it took its limelight. But Prangin Mall is still good with some local delights and affordable bargains.

This mall has a very interesting vibe to it. Iโ€™m sure covid made it more empty, but it is so large, yet so empty. There are quite a few floors with many arcades, home improvement, and many electronic stores. I donโ€™t know whether to recommend it or tell you stay away, but just see it for yourself if youโ€™re going to 4th Avenue Mall

Having been built to attract customers from the older Komtar complex sadly this mall is going the same way with many empty units. Games area and 10 pin bowling are good but food court only had two shops open on our visit

  • 3/5 hilmii 10 months ago on Google
The mall is so big and spacious. There are plenty of shops ranging from groceries to clothes and even computer parts and phone stuff. When I was there, it seemed that there's even anime cafe for you weebs! Still, the price is kinda... okay. The bridges connecting to ICT and 1st Avenue is useful because we can easily move from Prangin to other places. One thing that I don't like is how the surau provided is located at the end of the underground parking lot. Not only it is far, but the room is so small. Either you go all down there or go to 1st Avenue to pray for Muslims. That's the only drawback in my humble opinion.

  • 3/5 Swayam Sourav T. 10 months ago on Google
The mall is big but pales in comparison to what we saw in Kuala Lumpur. The food court mostly has got Chinese or malaysian food. We were hoping to have some continental or Indian food but we couldn't find any. If there's any then we missed it, but most likely we did not miss anything. Outside the mall (but it counts in the mall area) there are better options with pizza hut, etc.
