Ordered 5 dishes for 4 pax. Freshness is key and portion just nice. The crabs and prawns taste fantastic, the rest are so-so. Price reasonable too but parking is a pain. Go early to have better parking spot with the jockey. I'd say worth the try!

Aug 2020 Great place for dinner. Best to make reservations in advance as I saw them turn away customers who didn't make reservations. This place reflects the local Penang - cheap, good and tasty. Food is great, rely on the waitress for her recommendations. Tip, if you are coming after 7pm - get the seats on the deck. Just beware of the sand flies, as some people's skin are very sensitive to it.

Beach side, however you will need to park your car at the shoulder of the road. Great view during sunset, we were lucky get to see rainbow during our dinner time. Overall price is average and food is also average.

Average seafood, non fancy or special on food or location or ambience. Simple but crowded especially during weekends. Great for any group like families, friends and colleagues.

There's an illegal "parking attendant" targeting out of towners' cars by demanding RM5 parking fee just outside the restaurant. Ignore him.

If you want to have tasty dishes, good seafood, reasonable pricing (the meal in the attached photo cost about RM200 inclusive of couple of coconuts), while dining near the beach, this is the place to visit. (we visited twice during our trip to Penang.)

Overall good is average. Steam fish teow chew style, taste is very light. No plum flavour. Fried hokkian noodle is good but towards the end is too salty. Assam prawn not enough assam taste but good thing is without shell.

The chili crab was mushy and there was not enough crab meat and tasted and looked under prepared however the overall food we ate was pretty okay

Good food! All of the food was served hot and fresh, the seafood was nice and the sea view was an extra plus point that made the experience more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend if you wanna have good and reasonably priced seafood. There’s a lot of cat at the area as well! But they are harmless.

Great food, great location right on the water. Decor is nothing special. Also beware of the scammer out front trying to get you to pay RM3 to him for parking and/or “guarding your car.” He doesn’t work for the restaurant, and parking is free. Don’t pay him. We didn’t, and he didn’t mess with our car or anything. He did gripe about it though.

Do you believe this is sotong goreng tepung? It looks like cempedak goreng tho 🤦🏻‍♀️no comment about the taste and price. Not worth the money guys.

This place offer very good seafood and the owner greets the customers to get to know them better. Recomend for a weekend dinner with family and friends. My favorite is to sit outside under a large tree but tables are limited!

Not sure what happened here, absolutely cannot recommend anything here, in other words its only so-so. A sidenote is there is a sketchy guy collecting parking fees outside the entrance. Nothing looks like the photos reviews posted here at all, the large crabs are not in stock so you might want to call first to check. The service is pretty bad, very hard to call fpr extra chilli for fried squid, and at the beginning there is not chilli for the squid at all. The fried mantou that was not on our order is also counted towards our tab. The distance from the beach and the size of the restaurant is the only saving grace here.

Went there for dinner with a group of friends and our choices of seafood and dishes were satisfying. I would recommend the curry fish 🐠, steam prawns and fried belacan chicken. Person taking order was very friendly. Food overall were fantastic. Price is average for seafood dishes not too cheap but isn’t too expensive. Great view to have dinner with the ocean view and sea breeze if you sit outside.

Seafood is cheap. Sit down and relax by the seaside. However the place is always crowded during dinner. Do not expect them to serve you immediately and the food could take some time to prepare. Nevertheless still worth the wait and money.

The Brussels Sprouts I ordered were Lettuce 🥬, personally there was too much readymade sauce in the dish that overpowered the actual flavour of the calamari which I was looking forward to eat. Deer meat was alright. Mantis shrimp dish was bit raw for my taste & I didn’t enjoy the nestum crumb. Overall taste could have been better for the price we paid.

Food were all served hot and everything was seasoned well! Definitely will return to try their other items on the menu whenever I'm in Penang.

Service waiting time can be very bad if full house. Food I'd say on average, cooking style similar to many other seafood restaurants on the island. Corkage fee is reasonable. There is hidden parking area beside the restaurant if you want to avoid parking along the road shoulder.
