I
recently
stayed
at
the
Eastin
Hotel,
and
here’s
what
I
found.
The
hotel
is
situated
just
off
the
main
highway,
which
means
it’s
about
15-20
minutes
away
from
Georgetown,
where
most
tourist
attractions
are
located.
However,
it’s
just
a
short
walk
to
Queensbay
Mall,
which
is
a
nice
convenience.
The
hotel
has
a
small
bar,
but
I
found
it
to
be
on
the
pricey
side.
The
silver
lining
is
that
they
offer
discounts
to
guests
on
non-alcoholic
items.
The
rooms
are
on
the
smaller
and
more
basic
side,
especially
considering
the
hefty
price
tag.
Nonetheless,
the
service
provided
is
reasonable.
In
addition,
the
Eastin
Hotel
also
offers
spa
treatments,
which
can
be
a
nice
way
to
relax
during
your
stay.
Now,
let’s
talk
about
breakfast.
From
a
Malaysian
perspective,
it
might
not
meet
expectations.
However,
they
do
offer
a
variety
of
European
options.
Unfortunately,
the
coffee
machine
seems
a
bit
stingy,
with
free
access
limited
to
just
a
few
hours.
It
feels
a
bit
frugal
in
that
regard.
The
Eastin
Hotel
is
conveniently
located
for
shopping
at
Queensbay
Mall
and
offers
spa
treatments,
but
it
may
not
offer
the
best
value
for
money,
especially
with
the
small
rooms
and
limited
coffee
access.
However,
the
service
provided
is
decent,
making
it
a
reasonable
choice
for
some
travelers.
