Best hokkien mee in penang! My family and I have been getting his mee for years. Uncle is a very nice friendly man even though he is often busy :) the portions are quite big while the price remains cheap. I can't eat hokkien mee anywhere else without thinking of sungai aras hokkien mee

The hokkien mee is a must try. The dish was flavorful with prawns, sliced egg whites, pork skin, shallots, pork skin etc. Small one costs 4.5rm, large one costs 5.5rm. We went there at 1pm so it was damn hot - would have enjoyed it even more if it was night time. I will be going back of course - how about you? 😉

Watery broth, egg not the soy sauce infused version just the white version. It does have pork skin and also use roasted pork. It's not a good Hokkien Mee, but a good value hokkien Mee. Lots of Mee and ingredients for rm4.50

Typical Penang roadside hawker styled Hokkien Mee. The soup is tasty and taste authentic despite me eating it at about 12PM near to the closing time. Most of the soup will be salty when nearing to the closing time but not this stall. Price is reasonable and very flexible in customizing to your request on what to put and what to exclude. Highly recommended.

One of the best Hokkien Mee in Penang, he will allow you to customise your order. You can either have it there or take away. Very friendly guy and the drinks food truck parked beside him is also great.
