Great place for festival & leisure activities. Was there yesterday for the Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2019. Managed to captured few hot air balloon pictures. 🎈🎈🎈

It is public open space (field). During the morning and evening there are a lot of activities for exercise (i.e. Walking, Jogging, Football and etc). Last time used to hold Polo Competitions. Practising polo. The horses have walked To & Fro (Stables from Penang Turf Club - Padang Polo). Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2015 have been held there until today. Once a while Rugby Competitions will be held there. It is one of the City Lungs of Penang.

Busy place. Came here for my kid football games. Proper maintain field. Great place to chill . Nearest to the city center and easy access. However, becareful park your car. No proper parking provide. Parking along the street is risk.

Padang Polo is one of the City Lungs of Penang and also a public open space (field). Last time used to hold Polo Competitions. The only place for practising polo. The horses have walked To & Fro (Stables from Penang Turf Club - Padang Polo). That was how it got its name. Once in a year, they hold Hot air Balloon festival here. Big field, a good place to do big event. But it's not only for events, you can play football, jog or other exercises at this place.

It's an open ground with most popular use for hot air balloon fest. Has a few restrooms, quite enjoyable visit during the fest.

A normal football field but every beginning of the year there will be a hot air ballon festival held on the field. Entrance is free and to avoid disappointment do check out the time schedule as the ballon only available for certain hour on the event day.

Just simply wow. Went to attend the Hot Air Balloon fiesta and the arrangements were super cool 😍 One of the best memories in Penang 🙂

Good open space for any big event. Hot-air balloon hosting here for the last 5 years. On normal days this is where people play football or jog. Occasionally you see people play radio control aircraft. This is also Hospital emergency helicopter landing zone.

The field is wide, but parking is a bit difficult and limited, there is a toilet

Good padang. Good event. Good location. I went the balloon fest 2019. Best event. No need going to Turkey or Australia for this balloons xperiences. Good job.

Good place to chill and jog, for those who are interested in Ultimate, there are pickups happening occasionally on Saturday.

Well known sports lovers. Big field helps sports teams to do regular training and competition for various games like football, softball, horse polo riding, kids games. It strategy located next Penang governor and general hospital. Next to field enough place to park vehicles. The well known place can helps artist to draw beautiful view during sunrise and sunset.
