Food court

👍 Definitely one of the better hawkers centers in Penang. There are many that tend to be quite over rated but I found the food here quite good. The uncle selling the oyster omelette smashed a home run with nice plump oysters that still tasted fresh and not overcooked. Vietnamese stall bun really goo... People often mention good, Penang, court, nice, stall, chee, hawker, clean, rice,

Definitely one of the better hawkers centers in Penang. There are many that tend to be quite over rated but I found the food here quite good. Lots of choices with some pretty good items here. Lots of dining tables and nicely ventilated. Parking is convenient and only RM1 per hour. I wanted something light so I went for the chee cheong fun and some light snacks to be shared .. the ccf is not too bad but the chai kueh skin is too think, the yam cake is just OK while the fried popiah is also just OK.

Great Food Court. Lots of stalls. Lots of varieties of Street Food/Local Dishes. Very open air sitting with lots of seats available, without feeling crammed. Dishes are tasty and not expensive.

Super packed . You have to do your own SOP and due diligence to stay safe. Food was good overall. Had the CCF , muah chee, oyster omelette and Ais Kacang special from swatow Lane ( not thr one from new world park ) it's located at the other end. Super like the muah chee. It was soft and warm still ,not to sweet. . Parking was a tad hard to find on a weekend. The air kacang from Swatow Lane tasted nicer without the fruits cause the fruits were too ripe and mushy.

Curry King (RM11). Depending on preference, the curry not so spicy, while the chicken quite good portion. More than enough for 1 person.

My first time here, I love all the food!!! Need to visit again to try different dishes… So many choices at this food court! The place is clean and chill, windy, perfect spot to have your meal! 1) BM Yam Rice - Had only pork meat and yam rice, the yam rice is not plain, full of taste, delicious!!! RM9, reasonable 2) Mee Jawa - The taste is so on point, is not easy to find someone who serve a good Mee Jawa, amazing!!! RM5.50 3) Muah Chee & Almond Milk - The best muah chee I ever had at Penang! It’s been years I am looking for a good muah chee, so far this is the best I could ever have! They serve almond drink which is healthy and tasty! Total RM12 4) Fried Oyster Omelette - So so, not worth the price to try it, RM15…..won’t order again

We got the tips to visit this place from our grab driver. It offers a variety of dishes from Chinese, Thai, Vietnam, Western and local foods such as ais kacang, rojak and many more. I loved the venue since it is an open space and they have this wide stage for an event or special performance and they also have a family karaoke. It looks like they designed this place for a family entertainment. Last time we went there, there was a paper art class for children. Quite crowded during lunch hours, but we managed to get a table. We also visited this place during dinner time or when my mom had a craving for Ais Kacang. She surely loved it so much, she even posed with a big smile after having a bowl of Ais Kacang.

Open air food center serving Penang hawker dishes. Tried the Penang char kway tiao, oyster omelette, Bak Kut teh, Chee Cheong fun. Food is all very good and reasonably priced. Place is clean with a nice modern toilet.

New World ParkFood City is another regular place in Penang where we usually go for our meals. We like it because of the variety and easy parking it offers among other points. Just a suggestion, don't go during peak times like lunch times as you will end playing the musical chair routine trying to get seats as it is normally very crowded as can be see from our latest video.

This is a modern and clean food court that houses various local Penang food. You will be spoilt for choices here. I personally like the Bangkok Lane mee goreng, popiah, Penang chu cheong fun, steam vegetables dumplings, and the plain pulut chang with kaya.

My ratings are for the environment rather than the food cause I was a little too full but looking at my family's review. Food is average but I like how airy this place is. If you aren't too picky, this food court has good amount of food choices with many tables.

This is a good place to sample Penang's wonderful hawker food. The Penang char kway teow was my favorite where the wok hey is just right and the entire dish was flavorful. The deshelled prawn also added to their overall good gastronomic experience. Curry mee is my next favorite from this food court. Somehow the chilli, provided separately, blends in with the gravy to add flavor to the broth. Oyster omelette is on the pricey side (16 MYR for a regular plate size) but they are very generous with their oysters. Lok Bak and Hokkien prawn noodle were good as well. So if you are looking for a one-stop shop to try Penang hawker fare, this will be a solid choice.

Foods are not up to expectation unless you know which stall to patronise. Their curry mee, Rojak, duck egg char keow teow and fried oyster in egg are ok.

I visited this food court this morning, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location is great - it's within walking distance from my hotel, making it a convenient option. I appreciated the open space concept and the high ceiling, which helped to keep the interior cool despite the heat outside. However, while the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was just so-so. I found the quality to be average and the prices slightly higher than other local stores. Overall, I would recommend this food court if you're looking for a place to grab a quick bite, but don't expect anything too extraordinary in terms of the food.

Nicely designed food court, very well ventilated with high ceiling. It was so crowded on a Sunday after lunch hour. Car park was full. Managed to park on the street parking outside. Many more stalls were operating now compares to my last visit 5 years ago. Be prepare to be spoilt for choice here. We tried the famous Bangkok Lane Mee Sotong. It was so so. Bit salty for me. The noodles broken to short pieces. The additional sotong was RM5. Used to eat Mee Sultan at this area but no more operating. Oyster omelette was delicious...fresh plump and juicy. The Muah Chee stall at the center of the food court is the best. The kind and generous seller gave us the last order for free. It was the softest muah chee I have ever tasted. With just the right sweetness and full of grounded peanuts. Wish there were more. Great service. Public washrooms were clean and well maintained.

Lots of stands that you can pick food and drinks from! I think it's one of the better food courts. Has decent cooling, but it can be windy. Recommended if you are nearby.

This is one of the most happening food court in Penang. It is not very big but big enough to handle customers with quite a fast turnover rate. Plus the big car park in the vicinity is a plus point. I do not recommend the spaghetti stall as the workers are really rude and not bothered. Yam rice is good. Same goes to curry mee, fried rice stall. Drinks are self service.

It was my favourite food court in Georgetown due to ample parkings, clean and modern environment. But the food’s quality here are significantly dropped to a level that below the average standard. We ordered the Yam rice & soup - Terrible the soup. We ordered fried kuey teow, really like the level of school canteen standard. And we ordered several foods from the Feng Yi, their dumpling was one of the worst I tried in my rice, and absolutely overpriced at RM12 for one dumpling, it was terrible. Another experience is the drink order, they set a system as for their own management convenience, customer is like part of their “staff”, Q up to order, take ticket, them go to “Station 2”, pass the ticket to collect drink, and self service bring the drinks to your table by yourself. This way of management only maximise their profit, it doesn’t give a good customer service experience. I won’t come back and won’t recommend anyone come here, especially tourists, don’t spoil your trip in Penang.

Our 1st dinner at New World Park wasn't that fantastic at all. Kinda disappointed as the char kway tiao was like... 3/10. Bak kut teh, Rojak our liking at both 9/10. Satay and chendol normal 5/10. Try your luck, maybe we met unhappy chefs. 😅

Is a food court.. With all sorts of food... Even the famous mee goreng... Its a nice place to have food... The only thing is u have to carry your food to your table... And tables are very very hard to get... U have to wait and stand around people's table.... But its worth the wait... Not expensive too.. Do drop by if your around the corner

Great luncheon experience here! This open market is airy, lots of stalls with all the Penang street foods you can possibly imagine! We enjoyed the Asam Laksa and their chicken wings. They were both fantastic! Staff is nice, they clean up your table pretty much the moment you rise. The floors can be a little cleaner! All to say, will defs come back again.

This is the place to go to during lunch if you're looking to eat most of Penang's hawker fare including Assam Laksa, Char Koay Teow, Chee Cheong Fun, Curry Mee, Hokkien Mee and Lor Mee. A few of my favorite dishes here are the nasi ulam (comes with awesome sambal condiment that is so good and spicy it blows your face off), assam laksa, hokkien mee and lor mee. The place has ample seating space, and is airy and bright. Also, do look for the prawn fritter stall (cucur udang) with a friendly owner. He'll set you up with some of the crispiest fritters you've ever had.

Come here just to check and taste Bangkok lane mee goreng that had moved for about a year now. It was a surprise that this used to be super empty and only few operators now tranformed to a gigantic food court with so many eateries. I was shocked actually recalling my last visit ~ 10 yrs ago.

There's a wide variety of hawker food here. It's a tourist spot with reasonable prices and serves as a one-stop location to taste famous local food in Penang. I highly recommend it.
