Not 4 star but less in my opinion. Time to refurbish as part of tapware falling off, bath tub was chipped; no extra toilet rolls and had to keep asking for more. Bath towels smelt wet and not dried properly though they were โ€œnewโ€. I would however give the staff overall a good commendation for their courteous manners and helpfulness whenever I called through. Buffet breakfast was a bit sad ๐Ÿ˜”. For me the best was the guy at the far counter cooking eggs the way we wanted it. Food was not great as a whole. Maybe time to change the chef. Plates were not cleared quick enough. Not sure if they were short staffed but the manageress was helping to clear plates as well as trying to deal with incoming people. She should set an example of client friendly customer service by smiling at incoming occupants. She looked like she wanted to throw things at the wall. Overworked maybe? Otherwise a pleasant hotel, yet definitely not 4star

How did this place get 4 star rating. Asked for extra water and reception wanted to charge me rm 3. Seems to suffer from lack of staff. Went out in the morning n till 4 PM room was not made up. Housekeeping Indian was more helpful though loaded me up with necessities when asked; she deserves praise.

Awesome hospitality and great service but the only drawback I found is that the breakfast buffet is only meant for local people and not international food itinerary so you would be forced to eat which are not cup of tea for you and very limited option for vegans which is really disappointing. Apart from this I loved the shampoo gel provided by the hostel it works amazing on hair to make it look silky and shine moreover the hair drier provided will act as a saviour for ultimate hair styling within a few minutes if you are capable of doing it. Itโ€™s a worth for money also I loved the stay.

The lobby was nice and staff at reception were okay, but that's all. Would not recommend staying here. The hotel looks worn down. Flickering lights in the hallway, carpet didn't fit the room, WiFi was slow at times and the room was a bit dirty. Also, the location is not optimal, quite far from the center of Georgetown. We checked out a day earlier than planned...

Firstly the service on the hotel staff was quite nice which made up for most of it. But unfortunately the hotel itself wasn't all that great. The rooms themselves didn't seems very well kept. The first room they offer smelled so strongly of mold/mildew it was hard to breath but we asked for a different room and the found a need one almost immediately regardless of their high season time. It was a better room but still not amazing. The cleaners often forget to give us towels after cleaning but were attentive when asked for the towels. The inclusive buffet was alright. Not a lot of variety mostly the same thing each day (we stayed two weeks) but we open to suggestions). The location of the hotel was pretty great, just behind was a few streets packed with bars, restaurants and cafes and a few retail boutiques. The people of the area are very lovely too. If you use grab there's a lot to do and see in the surrounding areas for practically pennies (so forget taxis). Walking to those places isn't bad either but there always a chance of rain and it's always muggy. Other than that it's a pretty reasonable place to stay.

Just to support the street food selling at hawker price campaign by the hotel. Everything at RM3 per serving was value for money Taste wise, average only. 3 stars

Rooms are spacious and facilities within are good. Beds are comfortable, but pillows are way too hard. There should be one pillow that is soft, and one firmer. Bath initially had problems with the water tap, maintenence guy fixed it, after a long wait & all worked good again. Morning breakfast is just below average for a 5 star hotel. Even the lousiest 3 star hotel in Indonesia had 4star-level breakfast.

Nice Hotel. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable, and I loved the fact that the curtains are very opaque and it remains dark in the room even long after the sun has risen, the sunlight doesnโ€™t wake you up! Breakfast with a lot of different options but the croissants/ pastries are really dry and bad... would be better not to serve them at all. Staff is friendly and hotel is clean.

It is an old hotel...but I can see the effort to update and improve ...however the room I got has not update the bathroom. Having said that , the bathroom was clean and satisfactory. Service was good as we accidentally wet the floor from showering and called the housekeeping. They came quite promptly and mopped up the wet floor and replaced the floor mats....breakfast was a saticfactory variety . Not a big spread but good enough. To me this hotel is value for money and fit for purpose.

I would say that location is perfect, not that much crowded. Parking is easily available. Service of the hotel is really good. They regulary clean the room. The rooms are big enough in size but, lights of the room dont function properly, and hair dryer is v slow.

During this MCO period, recommend to try the Nasi Minyak with Chicken Curry, sold outside the hotel entrance as the food was delicious and tasty.
