The room is nice and clean. Comfy bed. There is a separate sink in the room what is great. Bathroom is shared and close to the room. They provide shower gel and shampoo, as well as water. WiFi is fine. It's really close to restaurants and bars but still quite at night. You can also rent a scooter there. If you have questions they are really helpful and so nice.

I love everything about this rebuilt heritage place. Has its own privacy. The room is very spacious and clean. Everything is in well conditioned. Uncle Eddie is very friendly and so much helpful! You'll feel like staying at home. Plus, all places for foodhunters, for artlovers, are within walking distances. Worth the pay! My suggestion for them to have atleast one clearer signage board infront of the premise.

Second stay on this place. Friendly host, eddie which introduce him and the penang island to us, he also guide us to some of the secret local delicacies places for us. The environment is quite comfortable but a little a noise in night since it is near the love lane (bar street) but it wont cause a problem for us to sleep. Strategy location for bagpacker which the place locate in center of the Penang and we can used rapidPenang or just walk to our destinations.

We had a GREAT stay at Fhoya-fhoya di Chulia. Comfortable rooms, perfect location, friendly and helpful staff. I would definately recommend staying here!!!! Thanks for the amazing stay Fhoya-fhoya di Chulia crew!

I had a very clean room. Yes I would come back here again. Quiet motel. No frills clean simple and not creepy.

The place is very strategic in the middle of downtown, where easily access most of the tourist attractions.

Good place, but on weekends try to find something more away from Chulia.

The place beautiful for holiday

Tucked in a quiet street within the old Town. Chulia Street at your door step. The room was just right, good size, light, temperature and comfy bed. The owner, Eddie, goes above and beyond to ensure you have a lovely stay. The only criticism I have is that the sink in the room was not working and also there was a tap leaking in one of the shared toilets for the entire duration of our stay. Also, they provide bottled water which is good. But even better would be a water refilling station to reduce the amount of plastic waste.
