One of the top spots if you are craving for boneless crispy fish! Best in town, clean environment, friendly staff, dishes come out quick. The only thing, parking is a bit hard to get around here.

Decided to try this place as it is within walking distance from where we stayed in Penang. Ordered 5 different types of noodle soup with various types of ingredients. Every bowl of noodle comes with one plate of fried fish. The fried fish is fresh and it was fried with a coating of crispy flour. The taste of the fish is amazing and one of the best I have eaten. All the noodle soup were good and everyone enjoyed our meal thoroughly. The coffee on the other hand was not one of the better ones. It has a little sour taste. I personally didn't like it but it might be an acquired taste for this region. Overall a positive experience.

The tom yam actually is white tom yam though, it wasn't too sour or spicy but still taste good. Their fried fish was really delicious (Β΄οΉƒο½€) It really crispy and smell so good, even without the soy sauce still taste really good. Reasonable price also this place kinda hard to find parking cause it's just right beside the main road.

This have always been my favorite noodle place. I have been visiting this place since before they moved, and their food always makes me feel good. It’s kind of my comfort food since back then when I’m just studying. I love their dried noodles with extra pork lards, pair them with chilies and it’s perfect! Always order extra fish, crispy and delicious.

Delicious bowl of ηŒͺ肉粉 pork noodle, only RM7.50 with a lot of pork meat, liver, and other organs meat. Soup is yummy too....

Accidentally walked into this place when the noodles shop we want to visit isn't open. Happy to discover this place. Plenty of customers in the morning. Ample seating area, difficult to find car park. And of course the food is very delicious. Spent RM 31.50 for 2 persons (2 noodles + 1 set of roti with soft boiled eggs + 2 Chinese tea). Would love to visit again

First timer here in Tong Lek 8 Cafe. The fried fish was superb!! ( Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside) The soup gave a simple clean taste with a little hint of ginger and coriander. Overall: Me Gusta!!

The food not my taste but the fried fish is not bad. It is crispy, just the quantity is less. The cost is quite expensive due to the indoor is air-conditioning. It is located at tourist spot so at the same time, is it quite difficult to get parking.

I had the kway teow soup which I found it to be delightful, simple but yet tasty especially the soup. The minced meat was cooked to perfection. The liver literally melted in my mouth-so nice! My mum had the fish bee hoon which was also good. Would have given 5 stars if not for the lor bak. Overall worth the visit. Price is reasonable too.

You know a restaurant has been serving quality foods over several generation when you see parents and their kids are here before school time in the morning. The star dish are not the noodles or the vermicelli. That one is reserved to the fried fish on the side. They are crispy and juicy at the same time. You may want to order more of the fish when you are here because one portion won't be enough.

For an order of fried fish bee hoon dry, it comes with 3 small pieces of fried fish. Maybe its good for the local but for me, the bee hoon was overcooked and the fried fish was too deeply fried until crispy. There was even a piece that tasted plain deep fried flour

Had my breakfast here trying their fish head noodle. The noodle is so so as we have better ones back in KL. But the fish is crispy and delicious like most have said. The price is super reasonable. So it is worth while in a way.

Can choose indoor or outdoor, we prefer indoor. The bihun ikan is good but would be better if you add on egg.

Blink and you will miss it. Venture in and you will get to experience some pretty good fried fish to go with your favourite serving of noodles in soup, lakes or dry. Service is quick and the food tasty. Prices are also very reasonable. The restaurant is clean and there's air conditioning if you sit inside. Serves the usual range of drinks to go with your meal. Highly recommended for a quick, simple, cheap and tasty option for lunch in a pleasant outlet.

Top notch fried fish to pair with the refreshing Mihun soup and tomyum soup. Located at Macalister Road, we found this humble shop after a visit to UTC. It was indeed warm for the stomach and heart. πŸ€— Recommended for Foodie who crave for a hot bowl of soup.

Owner is very friendly and good service, recommend me the best from their menu and yes it's very tasty, i like the fried fish very much! And I like the clear soup and yet it doesn't taste blunt at all. Recommended to try.

Food is simple and mild in taste if compared to other equally famous eateries. Suitable when you are feeling under the weather. The fried fish is crispy, fluffy and light. A compulsory add on.
