The rating is actually meant for its anchor tenant, Village Grocer. Without which this place is as good as dead and i wouldn't even bother to pay this place a visit. Probably 15% occupied at most, there are still many vacant lots on all three floors. Hopefully it is able to pull in more tenants as our country recovers from the pandemic. Ample parking space and cost rn2 for the first hour.

Coming for this event 27/5/2023 and very enjoyable. Even though the even were not big all the merchandise kiosk were very good at their service and friendly. There are a lot of merchandise. Every cosplayer were supportive in giving the best atmosphere here. All people were invited here and the entry is free. No need to worry and no need to line up to enter here. You can use grab service to reach here. About RM10-15/ride from jetty if you are planning to come here. Do visit here.

Good Village Grocery be main tenant. A few eating outlets providing meals for residents and visitors. Parking in basement could be slightly expensive for visitors patronising Village Grocery and food outlets. Should provide a free parking for 3 hours for money spending customers.

village grocer and mr. Aside from DIY, Boost, etc., there are not many stores so there isn't much to shop for.

Good collection of shops, cafes, restaurants, clinics and even a bicycle shop. Not very crowded and quite a bit of the floor space is still unoccupied. But new shops and restaurants are opening all the time making it a handy addition in the Tanjung Tokong area even as the older Island Plaza gets a makeover. Village Grocer is a very good grocery shop with shelves full of fresh produce and products from around the world. The DIY outlet on the first floor is very well stocked. We've also been to the Quay Dental clinic and it is very modern and professional. Chateraise, the Japanese patisserie is excellent as is the new Dim Sum place. This shopping center can be so much more given its location and the good names already calling it home.

It looks empty maybe because of the boycotting trend? Maybe correct me for the facts. But I feel peaceful enjoying my meals without any noise pollution. 🤣 The portion quite decent. The staff is friendly.

Has a few eateries like Taco Bell. Also has a Mr. DIY and Village Grocers for shopping. as of 2023, still not fully occupied. Good for a simple walk and shopping. But nothing much to occupy your time there.

Village Grocer is a much needed addition to grocery stores. The vegetable and fruit area is too close together. Difficult to move around and find what I need and no social distancing. I found a lot of their produce was old. So i have to go to Jaya, which is so crowded, for my fresh produce. I like that they have some western brands like McCains French Fries so I will go back.

A plenty of parking spaces in the basement; however, their prices are slightly higher than the Mercato, Cold Storage, and Jaya. It does offer unique items such as wagyu beef patty and vegan food.

City Junction, Tanjung Tokong, Penang, Malaysia. Plenty of car parks bay located at basement charter RM2 per hour which is reasonable within the area.

This is an up and evolving shopping area. Currently there is Village Grocer, one of the best grocery stores for expats. There is currently Mr DIY and a Guardian health store on the second floor with room to add 2- 3 more stores. There are also places to eat/drink such as Subway, Taco Bell and Boost Juice. There is also convenient TNG parking on the lower level which makes it easy in and out.

Will become like Island Plaza in few years time..... Like a dead mall.

  • 4/5 Kim Soon C. 2 years ago on Google
The 2 main attraction here are Village Grocer and CU convenience store which are the first store in Penang for both brand. It's opened less than a year ago so pretty new. It's a good place to visit since not too crowded. If you are health enthusiasts then Village Grocer is a good place to buy your grocery although the price will be a bit higher.

Village grocer here is one of my favorite. Chilled chicken /meat section is not chilled enough as water drips under the packaging.....really important to look into that. All else good. other eateries within the same building. Nice to relax to have a drink but limited choices.

Nice modern mall but it's mostly empty except village grocer, taco bell some restaurant and dentist clinic. Parking is pricey for a almost dead mall.

1 Star For The Guard (in dark blue uniform) for scolding me because I accidentally dropped my ticket when I came in and had to park to the side to collect.... also you might think I'm holding up traffic I'm not, there's no car behind for the next 10mins . Also this is for the Guard in Blue, next time if you gonna shout pls at least Put up Your Mask.
