Celebrated my birthday here and by far they’ve served the best cocktails i’ve had in penang. Wendy was very precise on the flavour mix and Justin was great with his gesture and guidance on drink of choice. i guess we were flying the “concorde” with our tasteful drinks. A splendid birthday night out for me.. hell yeah!!!.

Excellent bar, deserves all the stars. Tiny place with about 10 seats, there is no menu and you give a vague direction to the bar tender and he can run with it. Good strong cocktails, no pina coladas here. So good we had an aperitif before dinner and came back afterwards for two more drinks.

Ah boon is a talented bartender who pays a lot of attention to the customers as there is no fixed menu here. Hence feel free to strike a conversation and be surprised by the creation. Speakeasy bar at its best. The place was definitely difficult to find (hidden with no sign board) and it was a fun experience trying to locate the bar. Bartender was very friendly and made cocktails not from menu but based on individual preference (mine was gin based). Price for each cocktail was RM45 and be your own judge if you feel it's expensive or cheap for a cocktail shot. Overall great experience and would definitely go again next time.

Loving the ambience and vibe of this bar! Justin is a friendly host and also great service from Wendy and Ah Boon as well! Definitely will revisit this place again! Love it! Keep it up guys!

Carefully crafted, high quality cocktails in a cozy setting. Just tell them what you’re feeling like, and they’ll surprise you. The bar is a bit hidden. If you wanna get ripped off and pay double the price for beers/drinks...then this is the place to go to. It’s definitely a tourist trap where they target foreign tourists. And unfortunately majority of them (including myself) are stupid enough to fall for it and go to any of these bars that are next to each other. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There’s another bar called “Bar fly” that is one 3rd to half the price for drinks, and is only a 5RM “grab ride” away.

Great place, I came here with a date and had the time of my life. Bar tender was passionate and what he did joined us for a few drinks and kept the night super lively. Bar tender was not rushed and meticulously detailed making drinks and generally care about his trade. I let him pick most of our shots for us and loved all of them. Great place to be for a date or just with your pals for a good time.

As its namesake it's cocktails and shots, but it's more than that! Customization, experiments, it's like your neighborhood speakeasy. Price is reasonable as well. As for the people, friendly staff and patrons, it feels like an episode of Cheers, where everyone knows your name. A great cozy hangout!

This was such a great find! Their drinks are bespoke and honestly one of the best we’ve had. I requested for something sweet and creamy, and the bartender made me the best tiramisu cocktail 😋

We wanted the speakeasy experience and found this fab little hidden bar in the centre of Georgetown. Had a wonderful evening letting the barman make up cocktails according to our tastes. Very cosy and friendly atmosphere . Loved it!

Great little bar - got there when they opened at 6pm and had the full attention of the bar tenders. They were friendly and made us customised cocktails based on our preferences. I had a lot of fun chatting with them and cocktails were yummy!

Recent trip to Penang got me looking out for different speakeasy bars. Been to 4 and I like this one the most. It's cosy and right amount of space with the right lighting. The mixologist asked me what I wanted and all o said was something gin based. Not too sweet not too sour. He came back with a concoction he called "Not Beer". I. LOVED. IT. The drink was refreshing and absolutely suited my palate. Mixologist understood the assignment very well. Was good.

Nice hidden bar that’s tuck in the back alley. There’s no menu of drinks, just tell the bartender what you like (a flavour or a story) and he will whip something up.

One of the best bars that I have been to for all 54 years of my life. The bartenders and service crew are fantastic, all handsome young men. Good vibes and brilliant cocktails that is curated according to your taste. Impressive toilet design, absolutely gorgeous toilet.

Good place for cocktails if you're at the Chulia Street Area. You walk down a quiet alleyway and find this charming little speakeasy. Cocktails were good - you tell the bartender what you're feeling and they will make the cocktail for you. Worth a stop for a drink before or after dinner.

A lovely gem to find, with a bit of Dan Brown's intriguing Clues here and there which I will post now. It's a non descript place with no signboard. Just look for no. 11. Ah Boon has a pulse on your desires. Spot on buddy. Looking forward to our next "undercover" visit.

Located in a quiet alley. But it brings you to another world when you step into the bar. It's cozy. The boss, Justin and his 2 bartenders are awesome provided top notch services. They made drinks for us based on our liking gs.
