This used to be my top rated burger in Penang last time (way before MCO) and I haven't really been to Spades for a long time already. Decided to check it out today and first of all, my first impression when ordering already potong-stim. I ordered Dark Knight and when I told them I want beef, I need to add RM2. Fine, then I realized to get fries as part of set, i need to top up more money so after hearing this, just decided to go for wedges since you don't have to top up money. Waited a while and when my burger arrived, i can see that the crispy cheese already shrink a lot and I also felt that the patty size already shrink as well. The burger is still acceptable but I wouldn't pay almost RM25 for this. Last time it used to be that I am more willing to pay for Spades rather than Mekdi. I guess time has changed and now I feel going to Mekdi is so much more worth it. Not planning to return to Spades anymore in near future. They are no longer the darling of burgers in Penang and sadly if I recall, their tagline is better burgers. But that is no longer the case now. Don't really feel their burger is great anymore. Oh yeah, and one last thing. I noticed that they have a number of menu item not being sold anymore so looks like the selection has shrink as well.

Ordered from grab else will request a replacement from the counter. One bite and it was bitter and stink of burnt smell. Opened and see that the patty was 80%charred. Got to manually remove all the charred part of the patty. Hand was messy and oily after the deed. What is left is just 2 third or less left of the patty. Premium priced burger for road side quality burger. At least road side burger don't burnt your order. They have been serving burgers for so long now and knowingly serve burnt food. Price increase... Smaller portion.. Now food quality?!

Burger is good here and Spade's Burger has been around sometime. Burgers are packed with a punch and the bacon strips are pretty crunchy and tasty. The only downside is the ventilation, I noticed the air cons have not been service for awhile and they are pretty dirty. Keep it clean guys. Atmosphere : 3/5 Food   : 4/5 Drinks : 4/5 Price.  : 4/5 Service : 4/5

Non-halal There are pork choices. Wonderful burgers of high quality, from the beef, chicken, pork, mushroom and bacon choices. Special yep of burger includes the lettuce wrap Better than the international competitors It comes with special sauces for the fries So, far, only 4 branches located in Penang and Ipoh A must try place for non-halal burgers

My first visit here. Not a fancy fast food shop. Too simple set-ups unlike other burger joints. Spacious dining area though. Love the fries...fat pieces and not overfried. The condiments were nice too. We requested for fork and knife to cut and share the burgers. Dark Knight burger was nice. A slight crunch to it. The charcoal buns were light grayish and soft. Orgashroom burger was wet and messy when cut into half. Not meant to be shared. Same with the veg version. A little too much sauce. Free flow of soft drinks and minute maid orange drink for the set meals but they ran out of the orange drink. That was a real disappointment. It was only lunch time and already ran out of orange drink. Shouldn't you stock up enough when you offer free flow? Service was so so.

Some of the best burgers in Penang is you're going for that blast of taste. If you are in search for gourmet burgers, look no further. The place is quite small with limited seats, and parking around the area can be difficult due to the numerous businesses there.

I visited the restaurant to redeem the voucher bought via Lazada. The staff was quick in responding the customer’s order even though not much interactions were tried to make after that. The location of this outlet is strategic but it could be hard to locate for a parking space especially during office hours. The café is dimly lit. This aspect can be improved to make it more welcoming to customers. For the food, the patty of pork burger is less juicy. Bamboo burger buns are a bit dry and hard. However, the porkets taste well with its crispy skin and porky content.

I like the pork burger.. juicy patty always my top pick. However the cashier has little attitude problem that she became impatient when customers failed understand her sentence. She might need consider restructure her sentence if customer couldn't understand, instead of keep repeating again and again; and customers still left puzzled facing her fierce face.

While I love the taste of their burger. The eatery really needs to be overhauled. First of all, all the patrons will be welcomed by the thick smoke from their grilling pans when they first step into the eatery. It's obvious that their ventilation system is not functioning at all. Part of their dining section is also occupied by two huge metal cabinets which I believe are meant for storage purpose, but the question is why are they there? The whole place doesn't seem to be a pleasant place to dine in.
