I stayed in Premium Studio Suite. The balcony was amazing, enjoyed 180 degree full view of Penang. However, the bedsheet was full of stains and have holes on the blanket, the whole room and toilet were smelly. Travellers also recommended to bring their own shampoo & body wash because they only provided 1 bottle of body wash / shampoo, not very sure because it was a bottle without any product label. The lifts were hardly empty during peak hours. You can wait up to a few rounds and still cannot get into the lift. Once you get in, you will experience the door opening almost every floor. I paid quite a high price for my 2 nights stay, but the room quality definitely is 3 stars only, which I can get better room with this price. The check in time is also quite late at 4pm, a deposit of RM200 was required and it took a few days to have it refunded back to me. I will never recommend this stay to my friends at all. If you’re considering, I suggest you think twice.

We stayed in Unit 28-02 and it has Absolutely stunning views of the ocean and the city. And really affordable as well. Things they could have done better: The apartment is super basic. No extra toilet rolls, not enough towels, not enough cutlery, no paper towels, no extra sheets or pillows, no body wash, conditioner etc. And the front desk is closed after 6 pm. I've been to places in Tibet that had better amenities. So be prepared to do your amenity shopping or bring stuff with you.

I honestly don’t know how anybody can stay here longer than a day or two. It takes 20-30 minutes ANY TIME you want to leave or enter your apartment because of the awful elevator system. This building is very poorly thought out. 3 elevators for over 40 floors with hundreds of people checking in and out daily? Staff are working pretty much all day going up and down between every one of the 40 floors so after waiting forever for an elevator you literally stop at almost every floor. This might not seem like a big issue, but just wait till you’re spending nearly an hour every day on an elevator. Just wait until two of the lifts are being serviced and you’re on the 34th floor (see photo attached). Absolutely shambolic Incompetent design.

The lifts. Big group of us. About 10. Some of us had to use the stairs. Some older ones had to wait, like, 45mins. That's the minus point. The hall is pretty spacious, alas insufficient to seat 10 ppl. The sofa is broken at both ends, meaning, whoever sat on the right or the left was sitting on wood! Otherwise it's decent. Luckily we stayed only 2 days.

This is my review of my recent trip to Penang. I am writing it now from thousands of miles away. Although the apartment was fairly close to a mall, you will still require transportation to get around Penang. Penang in general is a headache to get around, with extremely high traffic most of the day. We spent more time in traffic jams than at our intended destination. The view from the apartment was great; however, I don't feel safe in the location. For whatever reason, the residents continually left the security door on the ground floor wide open. Secondly, I don't feel comfortable because the agent was standing there watching us enter the door code provided by the owner. Was he meant to know? Overall, the beds were comfortable, but I didn't feel like the linens had been changed from the previous booking. The wardrobe's door in one of the rooms was broken, but we weren't informed or warned. It was annoying that I couldn't utilise it while we were there. There were no mirrors in the room. You had to leave the room to use the full-length mirror in the lounge. It was a little inconvenient when you wanted to try on different outfits or apply makeup. It doesn't cost the earth to put a mirror in each room. Lastly, the car park lights were off most of the time, which meant the parking lot was really dark when returning from a day trip. It was fairly empty most days we were there. I didn't feel safe in the evening when it was dark and the security door was wide open as we entered the building. I hope the owners take action and do something about the few points I raised. Reading other reviews here, I am not the only person raising some of these points. It could potentially be one of the best locations in Penang to stay.

Bad experience. The elevator takes an hour to go up and down. The swimming pool cannot be used because the pump is broken. Crows around the pool. Not worth the room charge for two nights. When making a report, it is ignored.

I would've given 0 stars but the option wasn't available. I booked 3 triple bedroom apartments for 18 days and paid fully before checking in. The service was anything but customer friendly. During these 18 days, we were asked to shift 5 times from different floor to different floor. They insisted we vacate the unit by 12 noon and check in only at 3pm. It was very hard for us to manage our time. Furthermore, when we had 3 days left to check out, the owner, Jeffrey Seong forced all to vacate and gave us a remote area surrounded by slums. No proper explanation was given. Overall, I wouldn't return to this apartment because of the unfriendly staff and ridiculous treatment. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Cannot even get into the security gate when arrived. Also very inflexible apartment. Nobody attend the reception and struggle to find the correct lockers. Took me 20 mins to figure this out. Requested for late check out and was turned down flat. I have to find another place to store my valuable luggage elsewhere for 3 hours. Also no refund for my stay on 5 days. Booked 10 days and only stayed 5 days. The lifts has a long wait to go up and down. However if you want to wash cloth and dry them, this is a perfect location! Hotel will charge you a fortune on this.

Location is excellent and the service is great. Very convenient to move around Penang if you drive or take Grab. Quite a lot of places to eat nearby, and a lot of local fare around the area. Rooms were a bit bare but generally well maintained. Did not have enough power points in the kitchen, so had to boil water near the TV. Condo facilities were a little run down. Lift was constantly wet (due to the pool), and the swimming pool was murky (not clean). Do not recommend using the pool-level showers/changing facilities, there is no glass in the window so the higher floors of the condo behind looks right into the toilet. Gym seemed okay.

This building should win the worst architecture design in the world. Well done BSG, never thought a flat design can be that bad The Parking is super complicated, if you have heavy luggages, you will be struggling to walk from car park to the lift. The whole building only has 3 lifts, its incapable to deal with the traffic, took us 15-30 minutes each time to get into the lift successfully. The lift doesn’t have any air ventilation, smells so bad inside. Good luck if you booked this apartment.

Rooms and service depends to each host. Because this apartment own by other parties. Like mine was booked by trip. The apartment quite big, clean, have karaoke set, android box tv, coway water, refrigerator, oven, washing machine and fully furnished with air-conditioning. The owner should put more floor mats or maybe 3 in 1 drinks. The apartment have access to the swimming pool and car park.

I am writing this as being a resident for 5 years is now becoming a nightmare, there are no rules, and it is like living in a bus terminal. Management/security have no control on airbnb visitors who seem to have priority and better treatment then residents. They leave rubbish in the carpark, monopolise the swimming pool, we counted 40 people once.... there are no restrictions on how many people stay in an apartment. Outside of the building, people double and triple park because they don't want to pay RM1 for parking, there seems to be a man-made motorcycle parking area now, all of this making leaving or entering the building impossible at times. Visitors for residents are not allowed to park in the carpark and have to park on the side even though the what used to be "Visitors Parking" is empty. The maintenance of the building is terrible with fire doors propped open and doors without closing mechanisms slamming in the wind. I don't see cleaning taking place on the landings for the residents side anymore, it is very dirty. The gym equipment is not replaced once broken and is abused by airbnb visitors. We love the apartment, the area is great, but this building needs new management and some rules and control outside which is now literally a carpark.....if you are going to have a commercial business separate it from residents or manage it better!

At the beginning of the check in i faced some problems with my apple payment but they solved the problem and apologized. Overall the location is perfect and their service was very friendly and kind . I disagree with all the other reviews that says the lift takes 15 minutes it wasn’t as bad as they mentioned it was really fast and didn’t take that long , the appartement was so clean and the location was safe for family members, didn’t regret this experience it was more than i expected . ❀️❀️

Studio apartment for one nite stay, Great location, fully furnished well. Great view at 31st floor unit. However, suddenly my friends ask me if there can join the stay, then I ask the host to upgrade to bigger space. Incredibly helpful, quickly he upgrade my stay for 4room apartment. βββπŸ‘πŸ‘ (with additional payment) Was huge and all my family and friends had great stay. Will definitely recommend to all. #super clean # spacious #great view #friendlyhost

The elevators were a nightmare. With 45 stories in such a high rise building, they only have 3 elevators for each wing. We had to wait 30 mins just to go down during peak time for the residents from different floors to go down as well.

we actually booked a studio apartment on one of hotel apps, turns out our booking was never made, and our rooms has been booked by someone else (we booked like a week earlier). so we called the person in charge, he said he will organize another room for us, with a cheaper price. I dont know from the smell of our new rooms, you can tell its was long not booking by someone else. But the place is okay, beautiful scenery, easy access to pool and playground. The last thing I want to rant is THAT BUSIEST LIFT SERVICES ON PEAK HOUR. They got 3 lift, and during peak hour when everyone checked out, everytime a lift pass by, its must be full. There's actually 10 time passer-by full lift infront of us. At last, we use stairs.

the interior design is abit childish the owner decide to furnished the room with a whole teddy bears and flushies. And one of the lack side was the toilet doesnt have rubber pipe for cleaning purpose instead just toilet tissue πŸ˜”πŸ˜‘

Stayed on 25-03-2022 for 2 nights - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. It was a studio suite, with sofa bed. But got tricked, just the sofa bed & pillow without blanket. Room wasn't clean. Broken furnitures in the unit. Customer service wasn't responsive, message & called without reply. Perhaps you can book this place, but avoid the ones managed by little cabin.

Great view from the apartment or rooms. Tight security. However, it needs renovation. Gas stoves were damaged. Rusted pipes. Door knob was broken. Walls and ceiling have water leakage. Nonetheless, great for a group of 12 to 14. Have 3 bedrooms with 2 beds each. Got a spare mattress. Big living area.

The location is in the center of the town and can easily find food. The room floor were sticky, bathroom pipe were broken, kitchen utensils were super dirty, ceiling fan was making loud noise. The worst part is the lift as you have to wait very long to get into the lift and it stops each floors. Quite annoying and wasting the time. The pool water were dirty and smelly. Overall bad experience and wouldn't want to come back again to this place.

Highrise luxury condo with multiple level security. Strategic location - near to tourist attractions and food haven. The unit has a good sea and Georgetown city view. However, the condition of the unit has went down as compared to our last stay. Spacious designated carpark, however due to energy saving policy, certain part of the car park can be quite dark at night.

Spacious and magnificent view of the city and sea from the place. Good for families and gatherings. Pool is closed for maintenance during our stay.

Booking thru booking.com. Check-in is easy as the PIC is very helpful. Stay at 37th floor. View of the light and city is spectacular even though a bit far from the sea. House is clean, beautiful, cozy and worth the price. Almost all furnitures is from IKEA. No general tv channel but have Netflix, Youtube and other online channel to choose or you can connect hp with tv. All space are using air-conditioner. The kitchen is complete with cookware and tableware. Definitely love to comeback again.

We stayed for a night in studio suite. The unit is simply fabulous on the 29th floor unit 7. The view is fantastic especially at night. The cleanliness is superb as I can't find a strand of hair. Mattresses can be on soft side but acceptable. Check in requires deposit RM 300 and I advise to bank in the amount before check-in. Little cabin office is beside Pizza Hut. I reported a broken knife and they immediately sent cleaners to replace us a new one. Overall, a really nice experience.. Thank you Landmark!

Enjoyed staying here. Some really fun places to visit near by. The pool isn't amazing and the staff straight out don't care. Lots of parking and reasonable price. Lifts were so slow and in a tall building it can be a long wait. Can't walk down the stairs too for stupid reasons. Shops in the ground floor are not worth the visit. As with many places in Penang, need to drive everywhere.

Property - BSG can definitely do better, with 3 lifts only servicing such a high density property is totally not acceptable. Waiting time for lift is about an hour during peak hours. The facilities are super basic. Room by Little Cabin - Terrible, attaching some photos for self explanatory. BUT thankful the floor and bathroom was clean and aircon still working.

The place was good and cozy. The view was amazing with a nice site of sea view as well. Closer to nice eateries like macdonalds, KFC and Starbucks. Overall it was a good experience. But the system to taking keys time taking and bit Complicated.

Average Homestay for a quick getaway. Nothing special to call out. The only concerns would be the entrance of the parking. Is kinda narrow for car like Alphard or Carnival.

Stayed at a airbnb styled unit. Many things not available such as towel, shower gel. Good thing is you get the whole unit, can stay longer if you want to cook a bit. The location is very inconvenient, hard to get a ride to go out

The room we stayed in is fantastic, large bedrooms with great view. The only downside to this property is the lift. There are only 3 lifts for the entire building. We were on 34th floor, at checkout time we waited for more than 20mins, no lift is available. We ended up walked down to the reception on level 1.

Spectacular view of both sea and land from 31st Floor! Great & spacious Studio Apartment for whole family with kitchen, washing machine etc. Comfortable stay at an affordable price!

  • 1/5 syakila s. 1 year ago on Google
No hate for the unit itself but the lift is so terrible. The building only have 3 lift per block and only 10 people can fit in 1 lift. We were on 37th floor and need to wait 1hr + just to board the lift as people for lower floor will go to higher floor then only go down to ensure they can board the lift. There is no separate lift for lower floor and higher floor so the wait time can be veeeery long. If you are healthy, better go down using staircase. Bad experience. 10/10 will not recommend due to lift. Who approve this building?

Rooms are clean and spacious but parking is a mess.. they did not have proper signage on the location for the auto pay machine.. yet the parking attendant is very slow to respond to my boom gate issues... The landlord management is relatively overall quite fine and reasonable price...

Everything is good, except for the elevator. You have to wait for a long time until it is vacant to pick you up at your floor. It is forever full every time it stop at your floor. Too bad I stayed at the higher level, otherwise I would have walked down the staircase.

  • 1/5 Li O. 4 months ago on Google β€’ 1 review
This is the worst elevator system I've ever encountered. Only 2 elevators (and one for bomba) for the entire building with 41 floors which is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!! Not only is the system faulty, it stops at nearly every floor with everyone trying to squeeze in jammed like sardines especially during peak hours. Some residents are very inconsiderate to press both up/down buttons at once where it slows everyone down. We've paid quite a substantial amount for the serviced apartment and could have acquired a better place with that price. I cannot fathom why management is not doing anything to improve the system despite all the obvious issues being raised by residents in these reviews. Very poorly managed and unsafe. Definitely will not recommend anyone to stay here.
