This outlet at Hutton Lane is THE real biscuit shop. There are other outlets in Penang too. Long time brand name in the biscuit industry in Penang. Been around since 1928. I used to frequent it as a child and my mother used to frequent it when she was young. Recommended biscuits: Finger biscuit (Roti Jari or Roti Tiao), Roti Kapal, Square Biscuit (See Kak Phneah), Pong Phneah. Very nostalgic.

The new shop is comfortable. The sales assistant is friendly and patient. Their traditional handmade biscuits are tasty as well as their new products, granola. I love their Strawberry Yoghurt Granola, not too sweet and so crunchy! The pastries are delicious too, especially the chocolate egg tart. Recommend for everyone to visit them!

Found this pastry shop while walking to the morning market in the early morning. They sell various types of old school biscuits. The sales assistant is kind and patient in introducing the different types of biscuits, and I bought some as souvenirs for friends and family. The biscuits taste authentic and personally, I like the roti kapai.

The biscuit still have the authentic taste. My mum who is 87 years old still loves their biscuits.😋😋😋

Walking into this shop is like talking a step back in time, surrounded by all the biscuits that once my parents bought for us as a child. The candy topped biscuits, the "pig ear", etc The lady taking care of the shop is very friendly and helpful. Parking may be a problem but if you know what you want to buy, just briefly stop by the side and run in for the stuff you want. Shouldn't take more than 2 minutes and the side lane is large enough to wait.

Used to visit the shop at Penang Road, just below the octopus bridge, when I was young. The biscuits now are still having that nostalgic taste!

5 star for service! The lady was kind to explain the difference in their biscuits & since new opening there's a 20% discount for purchases above RM 30. Drinks sold in the shop also tasty.

We are lucky to find this hidden gem, while strolling along the back of Chowrasta market. We enjoy visiting this store. Their service is great, the lady who runs the biscuits shop is not only friendly, but very attentive to my parents for asking many questions. We could have a little tester before we decided to buy the biscuits. My mom is so happy, she told me it brings back her childhood memories. Since the biscuits they sell, have similar traditional recipes of my late grandmother. It is crunchy, not too sweet and not too salty. Usually my parents loved to eat it for breakfast or evening tea time, dipping the biscuits in a cup of hot tea or coffee or chocolate. We ended up buying several packs of biscuits and eating ice cream while waiting for our grab driver. We would love to visit this store again for our next visit and try other biscuits or cookies they sell.

Went there because recommended by a Penangite. Very good service, attentive and friendly staff. Bought their Beh Teh Saw, it's a HUGE disappointment. Too much pastry and hardly tasted the filling. Can't beat Perak Heong Peah. But their Tambun Peah is good. Taste and texture is good.
