Hot grande of cappuccino is the best during heavy rain. Great ambiance as always with good service. Not tired of coming back to this place.

Drinks are great however servers are not customer oriented.

GIRLS, you guys need to learn how to smile. being in service line, you must be friendly & cheerful. if you're not happy with the job, always show grumpy face to the customer, i think you are in the wrong field. 🙂

One of the best environments for Starbucks in Penang and baristas mostly very friendly. However, today one of the baristas seemed intent on telling me off that I shouldn’t ask for milk on the side since I ordered an Americano. Admittedly, I added milk into my coffee but the request for milk was mainly for the English Breakfast tea that I also ordered together with the breakfast meal. Surely, Howard Schultz wouldn’t want his third space concept of Starbucks to be destroyed just to save on milk? Perhaps the barista is new but he should learn that making a customer uncomfortable just because he was reluctant to give the tiny cup of milk goes against the essence of customer service.

Premium coffee. I like it neat without additional taste. But price increase quite a bit, due to forex exchange maybe?

I have been a loyal customer of Starbucks E-Gate for the past three months, and I cannot express my profound disappointment with the ongoing WiFi issues at this supposedly established franchise. It is absolutely perplexing to comprehend how a renowned company such as Starbucks can consistently fail to provide a functional WiFi service. One would assume that a place frequented by professionals, businessmen, and entrepreneurs would prioritize a reliable internet connection, considering the demands of modern business and the need for connectivity. However, it appears that the management of Starbucks E-Gate has turned a blind eye to this essential aspect of customer experience. Upon multiple visits, I have had the misfortune of encountering the same problem over and over again. The staff nonchalantly admits that the WiFi is not functioning properly, as if it were a trivial matter that can be overlooked. Well, I must emphasize that it is far from trivial! As a businessperson, I rely heavily on the availability of a stable and fast internet connection to conduct meetings, communicate with clients, and complete important tasks. Unfortunately, Starbucks E-Gate has proven time and time again that it is incapable of meeting these basic requirements. It is not only frustrating but also an absolute waste of my time and resources to choose this particular Starbucks location for my professional needs. I sincerely request the management of Starbucks E-Gate to wake up from their slumber and address this matter urgently. It is their responsibility to ensure that customers can access a reliable WiFi service during their visit. Neglecting this crucial aspect not only tarnishes the brand's reputation but also demonstrates a complete disregard for the needs and expectations of their customers. It is disheartening to witness such negligence in an establishment that claims to offer a premium experience. If Starbucks E-Gate wishes to continue attracting professionals and entrepreneurs, they must prioritize rectifying the WiFi issues and provide a seamless online experience to their customers. In conclusion, my experience with Starbucks E-Gate's WiFi service has been nothing short of exasperating. I implore the management to take immediate action, as the continued ignorance of this matter will only drive away loyal patrons like myself, seeking a reliable and efficient workspace.

This coffee shop’s ambience is cozy, kudos to staff (Khairul), well humored and helpful in helping us redeeming Starbucks gift voucher.

The place is very nice location with nice outdoor and indoor options.. some food items are missing so later had to change the place to other shop

Spend few hours here.. parking is easy. Cafe with not many people with quite number spaces to sit.

Wanted to sit there outside with our dog. They don't allow. Very bad

Great environment as usual Starbuck but this location is not good if you going to use your own Hotspot. My celcom and maxis was not performing good at the indoor.

Comfortable socially distanced environment. Aircond is quite chilly, but good relief from our hot 🔥 weather! Muffins are nice and warm, pairs nicely with a cup of hot chocolate or iced coffee.

Nice but quite warm inside due to air conditioner faulty. So give yr best attention to this....cool customer can change to green with this situation

Zam is the best barista I have ever come across in my many years of cafe research. He’s friendly, intuitive, and warm. He remembers customers and always have a smile for everyone. He should get a pay raise and promotion! Keep up the good job! I previously reviewed this outlet and was annoyed with a different barista who told me off for asking for milk.
