4th,
2023,
my
fiancé
and
I
placed
an
order
for
our
engagement
ring
at
Gayathrii
Tangga
Maligai
Jewelry
Store
in
Penang.
We
made
a
full
payment
for
the
ring
and
were
assured
that
it
would
be
ready
by
June
20th,
2023.
Unfortunately,
the
store
failed
to
fulfill
their
promise,
leaving
us
disappointed
and
frustrated.
Communication
was
a
major
issue
throughout
this
process.
They
never
informed
us
that
the
worker
responsible
for
our
ring
had
gone
to
India,
causing
delays
without
any
notice
on
their
part.
After
the
initial
setback,
they
set
a
new
deadline
at
the
end
of
the
month,
which
we
reluctantly
agreed
to.
However,
around
June
27th,
they
astonishingly
inquired
about
the
design
of
the
ring,
a
detail
that
should
have
been
addressed
much
earlier.
This
sudden
question
left
us
baffled,
as
we
questioned
how
they
intended
to
complete
the
ring
in
just
two
days.
Predictably,
they
couldn't
meet
this
rushed
timeline.
We
displayed
patience
as
we
waited
an
additional
two
weeks.
Finally,
in
July,
my
fiancé
retrieved
the
ring,
but
the
excitement
was
short-lived.
To
our
dismay,
my
ring
didn't
fit
properly
at
all.
This
disappointment
prompted
me
to
make
a
trip
from
KL
to
Penang
to
address
the
issue
in
person.
I
diligently
explained
the
problem
to
the
store's
staff,
but
their
initial
response
was
to
have
me
wear
a
wrongly
sized
ring
on
my
important
day.
This
was
a
serious
blow,
considering
the
clarity
of
our
communication
regarding
the
ring's
specifications.
Upon
escalation
of
the
matter,
the
owner,
who
had
been
notably
absent
until
then,
became
involved.
However,
his
involvement
was
far
from
productive.
He
displayed
rudeness
and
defensiveness,
twisting
the
story
to
blame
us
for
their
mistakes.
Shockingly,
he
went
so
far
as
to
suggest
that
my
weight
gain
was
the
cause
of
the
ill-fitting
ring,
even
body-shaming
me
in
front
of
other
customers.
This
experience
left
me
questioning
my
appearance,
despite
confirming
that
my
weight
hadn't
changed.
After
a
heated
argument,
the
owner
agreed
to
remake
the
ring.
Upon
collecting
the
ring
for
the
second
time,
it
was
presented
to
us
quietly,
as
if
everything
was
now
perfect.
Unfortunately,
this
was
far
from
reality.
Opening
the
box
with
excitement,
I
was
met
with
disappointment
once
again.
The
ring's
quality
was
abysmal
–
not
only
did
they
adjust
the
size,
but
the
ring
also
had
numerous
scratches,
notably
on
top
of
the
design.
It
was
evident
that
they
hadn't
taken
the
time
to
properly
polish
the
ring,
leaving
it
looking
worn
and
old.
The
thought
of
wearing
such
a
ring
on
my
significant
day
was
disheartening.
The
ongoing
frustration
and
anger
were
overwhelming.
Regrettably,
the
store's
responsiveness
continued
to
be
lacking,
as
they
ignored
our
attempts
to
communicate.
This
entire
experience
has
been
a
colossal
waste
of
our
resources
–
money,
time,
and
energy.
In
light
of
this
experience,
I
must
strongly
caution
others
against
considering
Gayathrii
Tangga
Maligai
for
their
jewelry
needs.
If
you
desire
a
stress-free
experience,
particularly
when
embarking
on
a
new
chapter
in
life,
I
advise
against
purchasing
anything
from
this
establishment.
Their
lack
of
professionalism,
poor
communication,
and
subpar
craftsmanship
make
them
a
prime
example
of
untrustworthy
practices
in
the
industry.
