In the heart of world heritage George Town, there are quite a few local coffee houses situated in beautiful heritage mansions. But, to find a cup of Luwak coffee or 'Kopi Luwak' you need to come to this only authentic 'Luwak coffee shop' in Armenian street. You can never miss this true 'Boutique Cafe' which has a 'niche in Luwak coffee' and the owner Ms. Cindy ensures, not only the hand brewed coffee taste perfect, she also has direct interaction with customers to explain all about 'Kopi Luwak' and how it's roasted in-house and hand-brewed to perfection. No doubt it's bit expensive, but remember - you get what you pay for! So, you get top quality Luwak coffee, for the price you pay (which is far less than the price you pay in bigger metros, worldwide). This small heritage town has the stamp of past glory and personal touch in many aspects, Ms. Cindy's boutique 'Kopi Loewak' is one of them, which is a must visit and you should never miss.

An eye opener for drinking coffee. I always take the 3 in 1 coffee powder so honestly I cannot tell if it was awesome. The lady boss was very friendly and shared with us how the coffee beans came about. I think someone is a real coffee drinker, he or she will be able to enjoy it more. Nonetheless it was an experience for me.

Super neat coffe shop! Definitely a good stop for those that like Specialty coffee. I Tryed the Kopi Lewak coffee which is the asian palm civet poop coffee, and it was quite good! There is also a place in front that sells very delicious Turkish desserts. The Kanefa was great, it’s cheesy and sweet.

You like good Asian coffee? Than run! To another place. Vietnam is beside Malaysia one of the best places to enjoy pure lush coffee,- we’re traveling through Asia now for more than twelve years and have some experience. They offer civet cat coffee,- and arabica,- (and I’m very sorry to say that there’s a worldwide brand that sells better tasting coffee). In the entrance you can find a baklava stall, it’s good looking, but that’s all. It’s dried, not tasty and not worth spending the money. We asked the staff about freshness of our selection and gave it back. It was our mistake, because the seller told us, that it was delivered in the morning. Ok, my bad. Cannot recommend this overrated tourist place.

Amazing coffee, delicious kunafa, relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff. Perfect place to take a rest from walking in the heat, enjoy some great coffee and watch the beautiful Armenian Street with its many tourists.

Very nice little coffeeshop, but a little ob the touristy site, if that bothers you. You can drink Kopi Luwak here, which was my main objective. The coffee is fantastic and you can watch the brewing process and smell the coffee beforehand. The staff was very friendly and explained the preparation of the coffee as well as the coffee itself and gave handy tips to maximise the enjoyment. The cake was good too :)

My friend and I were walking along the street and something smell really pleasant got us here. So we stoped here for some coffee before headed somewhere else. The staff was friendly and informative, he explained about the coffee maker kind of stuff, so we picked this which is fascinating .. worth giving it a try!

Wonderful small family coffee place from Cindy and her family. We have been here before pandemic and we always wanted to come back. We really love trying all these different tastes of coffee and enjoy, when Cindy is explaining to us the „making“ and the origin of each coffee bean! She is a real expert and her son and employees are great baristas! And her husband went to observe the civet (the little animal) in Indonesia. They have their own roasting. It‘s absolutely fantastic! There is a whole chemistry and coffee magic behind the technique! A real coffee adventure- not to miss her! Not to forget all her wonderful self- made matcha cheese cake and other sweet creations! Both of us really recommend a visit at Cindy‘s Kopi Loewak from all our heart! Once you are here, you keep coming back! Like us! 😋❤️👌

The best coffee I've had in my life, without a doubt, I've been amazed, the very friendly girl and explains everything about that coffee, they also let you see and record how coffee is made in a traditional way. A cup costs about € 8.

There are a huge number of places with good coffee in George Town, but this one stands out for exceptional taste. I had an iced espresso, made with a hand press that was fantastic. They take their coffee very seriously and you can have it brewed six different ways. Located right in the middle of a mess of tourist shops but worth the trip just for the coffee.

Sweet no-no. Don’t waste your money for the treats, they look fantastic but taste like a full of vegetable fat sugar cubes. We expected something similar to baklava but this is not even tasty. Cheese Kunafa tastes like a brick of average cheese under crispy fatty zero-taste cake and picture of it is from Google. Discouraged by the sweets, we didn’t try coffee.

For the discerning coffee lover who appreciate the tate without polluting it with milk or sugar. Delicious rare civet coffee, lovingly prepared and served with great service.

Awesome coffee! Tasty and well brewed. :) I hope I'll go back to Penang someday and have a chance to drink it again.

Had to have a quick one, but the regular coffee blend was good, didn't have time to try the rest. The Turkish snack shop there was good too.. not too sweet either

The waffle was amazing! The coffee is made with civet cat beans. There are infinite coffee brew options, or at least it feels that way.

Great coffee experience! Owner was very nice and took me through the whole brewing process. They brew it in some special extraction thingy. The coffee was good and it was a nice sit down with a good view just watching people stroll by talking selfies

Genuine Luwak is normally hard to come by, and high quality one even more so. It is therefore a pleasant surprise to find such an exquisite cuppa kopi luwak in this little charming cafe right in Georgetown's street art tourist district. Comfortable picnic tables for people watching. Delightful servers demonstrating the roasting process. And the coffee that I can come back for. *Applause*

Loved the experience of trying kopi luwak at this cafe! The shop is so cute and the collection of coffee brewers the owner has accumulated are so fun to look at. The staff and owner were so nice, and they walked us through the whole process of harvesting and brewing the beans, and how to get the best tasting experience. Also just a great location that looks onto a cute side street of Penang, and it was fun to people watch as we sipped our kopi luwak.
