👍👍 Old skool Hong Kong style Cha Chaan Teng with affordable meals made from scratch. Authentic taste. Tried most items on the menu. All are good and tasty. My all time favourite is the Philly Cheese Steak Bun. Three ingredients, sliced beefsteak, cheese in an oblong soft bun. Perfect balance of taste.... People often mention Hong, Kong, breakfast, taste, style, time, pork, toast, restaurant, noodle,

Old skool Hong Kong style Cha Chaan Teng with affordable meals made from scratch. Authentic taste. Tried most items on the menu. All are good and tasty. My all time favourite is the Philly Cheese Steak Bun. Three ingredients, sliced beefsteak, cheese in an oblong soft bun. Perfect balance of taste. Don't need ketchup etc. This is my go to breakfast meal. A meaty Philly Cheese Steak Bun and iced Yin Yong for RM9 For me, the is better than the famous franchises for American burgers. Go early and soak in the atmosphere. Be kind and patient, this is not a fast food joint and the crew are all seniors. Parking on Campbell Street can be a challenge but it is worth your trip there. 😊

Hong Kong style breakfast, they have set A,B,C,D and lots more ala carte food. Their breakfast set is very huge portion. One main, one drink, two eggs, sausage, and toast. Pretty full for us. Most of the table suitable for max 4 person per table. We came here on weekday breakfast and not much crowds. Price is affordable given that the portion and taste wise is good.

This quaint little cafe is the best place for Hong-Kong food. Today I ordered set A. Spaghetti with char siew. Toast with ham n half boiled eggs. Actually I love the pork burger but today sold out. There are Set B, C and D. All are Hong Kong style

Impressive Hong Kong style breakfast restaurant. It was my first time to visit and the staffs were helpful to recommend some signature foods in the restaurant.

Came here in a weekday morning, looks a bit like the restaurant in Hong Kong but run down and empty inside. There are menu stick on the wall so you have to crane abit to look at it if it’s too far for you, not fancy about it. My friends were ordered the set RM15 with toast, eggs and drinks. I ordered the breakfast set RM12 with only drinks. Taste was just okay, the toast shouldn’t have the kaya if in Hong Kong restaurant. No polo bun here, kinda disappointed.

We went for breakfast. The shop is not suitable for big group of people at this moment due to limited number of ppl that allow to sit on one table. The pork chop bun is nice.

Drinks were ok but the food and service were just exceptionally poor. We wanted to order a few things and they were all sold out so we wound up ordering only two dishes. The lady who took the order was unimpressed and she was not shy in expressing so. The pork chop was basically burnt and the kaya French toast came with only the taste of maple syrup.

Nice Hong Kong style cafe. Food is cheap and portion is big. Good place for friends and family

Feels quite warm inside the restaurant, aircon is operating but not cold. Overall food & drink are ok, dry noodle is excellent, must order. Patience is required when patronize this shop where the foods & drinks take slightly long time to prepare & serve. Nevertheless, shop owner uncle & auntie are friendly

Authentic Hong Kong cuisine. Their 'char xiu sou' is the best I've ever tasted, it's so warm, crispy and soft. Hong Kong taste, Penang Price. Very affordable price.

Hong Kong style restaurant. The value of the food is considered great as the portions are big. The taste is acceptable, i have ordered the "Pork Chop Mee Goreng" and it tastes just like normal instant noodle (Indomie). However, the table size is limited, which may not be suitable for dining in large groups. The service could be improved.

The breakfast menu of A and D. The food was vey much lower than my expectations. The tomato gravy was from bottle, no freshness at all. The dried noodle was the instant packet type and it was too salty. The milk tea abd coffee were just normal.

Their pork chop noodle and club sandwiches were superb.

Food here is great. Came here for lunch and wait time is average. Really gives you the Hong Kong small eatery that you'll see in TVB. Next time will come back for breakfast instead.

Hong Kong style " Cha Chan" with friendly staff Food taste ok and big portion, especially love their egg tart

Hong Kong style breakfast. Go for their bagels!! The char siew puff & toast here is yummy too. Egg tarts are average~ Tomato soup pasta is not my kind of taste but it's unique, worth trying. Don't bother with the instant dry noodle dish, it's quite bland compared to normal indomee... The drinks are pretty good. Note that the small shop can get quite crowded during holidays and weekends.

HK char chan teng. Nostalgic environment complete with high back benches. Breakfast sets and ala carte options. Quite warm even in the morning as air cond was not turned on. Staffed by elderly crew. Parking by roadside or open space area further down the road. The ham macaroni and chicken spiral looked simple but turned out great and exceeded expectations. Too bad the philly cheese beef steak sandwich was unavailable. Limited seating. Can pay by TnG.

Had the pork chop mee goreng, which is essentially indomie goreng topped with 2 pieces of pork chop and sunny side up egg. Cheap, familiar food for brekkie. The lumberjack breakfast is also mediocre with scrambled eggs, sausage, ham and toasts.

Food worth for the price, 南Y岛有味饭+soup+herbal tea as a set meal cost RM8. Egg tart taste nice, RM2.10 each. However be prepare with slightly warm dinning environment...

Besides being very reasonably priced for anyone very hungry, it is not a place I would recommend. Granted that I am not a local, but I have lived in Malaysia (and traveled plenty of times to Hong Kong), but I sure taste better than this.

I think they forgot to put the seasonings into my noodle soup. SUPER BLAND. Tried to ask about it but the aunty said it's like that and you can your own soy sauce and white pepper (without even asking the cook). Disappointed with their kaya butter toast. Food so so, can't ask for tissue cuz they will give a new pack of tissue and ask you to pay for it.

An authentic Hong Kong style breakfast spot that you can try in Penang. Variety of food is okay. Must try the milk tea, pork bun, egg tart. But be mindful of the small and pack old shop style sitting.
