Hello, This is ultimately for Owner of the House Block A-9-3A, Maritime apartment, Lebuh Sungai Pinang 6 (Karpal Singh Drive), 11600 Penang. This is official complaint posted in social media & online hotel/stay booking platforms before this is escalated to KPDNKK & KPDK. I am writing this with full dissatisfactory and regret and hope this does not happen to the others. List of complaints: 1. Mislead information - It's stated and mentioned by the Owner in Agoda, that the house: a. Have 2 Bedrooms b. Can occupied up to 11pax c. Toiletries provided BUT: a Small bedrooms - No cupboard, Mirror, Stains on the bed sheet & Pillow. In other words is like a prison. b. With the bed room size it is not even suitable and occupied for 6 pax. c. See picture - only soap & shampoo which is placed on the floor with no proper toiletries. Even soap is filled up with the water! d. One of the toilet is under maintenance. c. Small bathroom size. This is totally mislead info and is a violation against the rules. 2. House Condition a. Bad - Even cannot provide a proper Iron Board. Cheap skate product. See Picture. b. Aircond - Not properly service until need to install industrial fan in the house. Upstairs bedroom's aircord not function properly. 3. Per Night stay price a. High and not worth it with the house condition. b. Dirty with bird nest in the balcony. See picture. 4. House rules a. Ridiculous and complicated b. Decide own terms & condition. Applying own penalty amount and concept. c. Check out time is 11 a.m.?! Even Grand Hyatt's check out time is 12p.m. These would be justified to provide a feedback to the owner which will come from the gov and private agencies. Don't mention on owner response behavior - rude and egoistic. With per night stay is RM700++ with these conditions and complaints, it is totally not worth it!. Total scam!

Nice Homestay with superb seaview.

Gute Lage, sehr nettes Personal, super tolle Sicht durch die großen Fenster! Sehr gut organisiert! Gebäude an sich sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Aufzüge brauchen ewig. Es macht den Anschein, dass es drum herum alles gibt, was man braucht, wenn man genau hinschaut ist die Hälfte geschlossen oder eher nicht für Touristen gedacht.

Extremely over-rated, dated building & facilities, not to mention the horrible clunky sound of the lifts, is it even safe to use i highly doubt that, most importantly the building's cleanliness is horrible (cigarette butts & dirts everywhere in the lobby & common area like lift waiting area) 👎Highly not recommended, the so called nice reviews are so misleading & the photos shown on airbnb is downright misleading

Luxury?? Basement parking very narrow, interior building look old, no maintanence on the lift. The good thing is the room spacious and aircon working fine.

Little expensive but loved the homestay. This place is very near to harbour and the view is fabulous 😍 Food court,.. rental cycles & starbucks available in ground floor. Worth the money and I am sure you will enjoy your stay.

Superb location to enjoy a holiday trip in Penang Island. Booked through Abnb and operator is Nuaderland. Truely enjoyed the unblocked 180 degree sea front view. Very convenient location to go anywhere in Penang. On the average of RM 10 to Georgetown, and RM 25 to the airport. The owner offers private yacht sunset cruise and very affordable rate (private charter for less than RM 2500) !

I recently stayed at the Maritime Luxury Suite and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. As a coffee lover i always look forward to a place that also have coffee shop. I love this one. Coffee is super B! Makes may stay more special. Place is clean and and really good to relax while having a sip of a coffee.

This place is a bit expensive but the amenities and the services were great. The room where i stayed is spacious and it make you comfortable during your stay. I loved the seaview made me super relaxed and it's refreshing. Would recommend this place to my friends.

What a lovely stay! The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Prices were amazing compared to where we're from. We got a full ocean view and crazy high ceiling for under 150 SGD per night. Service was friendly and efficient. It is located in a shopping plaza so there's lots to eat downstairs, though I would venture elsewhere for cheaper food. Will definitely stay again!

Very nice Airbnb with a great view with many amenities, restaurants and bars around downstairs. Just that an Aircon in the living room was having waterfall, literally. Poor upkeeping but still liveable.

Air cond is cold in the living but slightly warm in the upstairs room. May be stay in 22nd floor, can feel the heat when walking up the stairs. Great view for sunrise, feel easy and comfortable.... togetherness

Scenery on our room is very nice. We can both see the city and the seaside! Price is a little much for the room size but amenities we needed are available so no arguing in that.

Condominium complex with a lot restaurants, coffee shop , bars along the bay strip on the ground floor. The view is superb facing the bay with sunrise is one of the good things here. Affordable for its beauty

Dangerous stay away. Comfy stay and the property owners are running a scam to extort money from guests. We have made police report on them. Report number MAK MAKDIN/000809/21. were was asked to make a deposit of RM 500. And upon check out. Comfy homestay agents threatened us with numerous reason. Such as police is after us for having a gathering during PKPB. Then asked me to make 10 stars review in Brooking.com, then said we broke the toilet door and finally said that he knows where we are working and he will complain to our HR director. All this is just to NOT return the deposit. Really dangerous. We have voice recordings of the conversation and what app chat for evidence. This is real incident. Pls do not go there

Dangerous!! Keep Away!!! Comfy homestay operation is a scam. They tried to extort money under the pretext of MCO/PKPB guidelines. Not safe for female tourist. This is my real n personal experience. They called me after I checked out saying that I might  be subjected to 10k penalty for having a gathering. Then minutes later I was asked to post 10 stars review in order to get my RM 500 deposit I. Return. When I said no. Again The comfy homestay agent by the name of Jun called and said I broke the bathroom door which was in good condition when the cleaner came in to clean. Finally she threatened me by saying that he will inform my company HR abt my stay. Comfy homestay agents reasoning has has changes 3 times in last 1 hr just to avoid returning my deposit. I have officially made a police report: report number # MAK MANDIN/000809/21. Don't get fooled by the cheap price in booking.com. Comfy homestay is really a bad news.

The scenes is the seaview and city view that you can get when u are inside the suite. It is a very nice place to gather for party like birthday, steamboat with friends and stay. But the management of the suite might be vary as the room I get the floor is very oily.

The place was fantastic. Very clean and stylish place with everything you needed. In a great location, right near heaps of great places to eat! Ronnie was very accommodating and helpful on checking in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Me and family stumbled into this place as I needed a room for 4 persons at short notice. Was pleasantly surprise the unit was very spacious and clean. The unit comes with enough beds for 4. Parking also comes with unit. Was very happy with operator service. Was my first time not staying at a hotel. As an added bonus, the unit come with a kitchen, dinning area and washing machine. There is a small swimming pool for kids and there is a lot of place to eat nearby. We traveled by Grab to the city for shopping. Was the best placed I stayed .

Spacious and comfortable. Clean and well equipped. There are eateries and convenience stores around the hotel. Located near the coast, it's also a great site for morning walk to see the beautiful sunrise. However the security of the hotel is not good. There is only one security guard at the lobby. The stairway door accessible to the rooms are not secure, thus anyone could enter the property via the stairway without the knowledge of the guard in the lobby. We took the lower floor, which is a big mistake as we were able to hear the loud music from the pub below the property.

Location was good. But my room was bit dirty with junk food left over at the sofabed. Cattle was not functioning and seem like the room was not maintained well.

The stay was unsatisfactory due to several issues: 1. The living room sofa is old and visibly worn. 2. There were problems with the TV box connection. 3. The room had a strong fragrance that might cause discomfort for individuals with sensitive noses, leading to frequent sneezing. 4. The master bedroom's bathroom had poor ventilation, resulting in persistent unpleasant odors. During the evening, when nearby restaurants were operational, strong cooking smells permeated the bathroom. Moreover, the blind meant to cover the shower area window was damaged, potentially compromising privacy and security. The rain shower head appeared dirty and stained. 5. Light sleepers would have trouble due to loud music from a nearby pub or club, which played with a strong beat until the early hours of 3-4 am. Overall, these various issues affected the stay negatively, making it challenging for a comfortable and restful experience.

The homestay/hotel was luxurious, clean and the service would not trick you with the pictures unlike other hotels. However, one of my family members used the homestay's towel and it broke right when he was finished. He can pay for that but please make the towel even more waterproof so that it won't break. So far this homestay is very good, this is definitely a recommendation for y'all.
