The hotel is clean, price is fair. My family and I was attracted by the restaurant on rooftop so we booked a hotel here and thinking that we could go up to the rooftop to take photos and enjoy the amazing view. But in the end when we reached the hotel and went to the rooftop, we had been inform that the restaurant is not allow us to go in to take a look unless we pay for a meal, this is really disappointing. The reason is both the restaurant and hotel is different management.. Hope the management could improve the service, be clear and real to the customer

Great location. Convinient parking. Good Service. Room 514 had a great view of the adjacent hills & it was great waking up to those majestic green views with the ceiling height window glass.

UNPLEASANT STAY! Rest disturbed by renovation grinding noise RIGHT above my head early early in the morning. (Continuously NON STOP, they say will last until evening). Companied by all the drilling and hammer knocking sounds from 2 sides! Called to front desk, they said not long stay and ignored it. IF there’s renovations, SHOULD consider NOT placing any check-in guest room right beside. OR, kindly inform us before check in, wouldn’t it be better? At least it’s a basic ethic a hotel should know.

Checked-in to this hotel during the water crisis in Penang. Basically I did not expect much about this hotel so overall the room is comfortable enough for our stay. Aircond is very cold and nice. Everything looks clean in general. I did not explore much but definitely sure there is no swimming pool but there is a rooftop restaurant for you to enjoy. The Japanese restaurant inside the hotel vicinity serves pretty cheap and good Japanese food. What I like about this hotel is the LOCATION. Near to air itam market and bus stop, I feel it is super convenient if you are tourist. But then again with Grab service, maybe any location is okay. But here you get to enjoy the air itam hustling and bustling morning market and probably in the afternoon too. Kek Lok Si is nearby and also the Air Itam dam as well. Penang Hill is not that far either. As for food, if you just take a walk a bit more, you can easily sample lots of nice Penang hawker food nearby. Even at night when you think the shops are closed, you can even enjoy a nice nasi kandar stall at the market or there are Japanese and Thai restaurant within a super short walking distance. Now what I dont like is the limited parking space. It is really limited inside the hotel good luck if you happen to stay during peak hours. Overall, I had a pleasant stay. Everything is within my expectation so no complaints here. It is definitely not a luxury hotel but it is nice enough since the location is pretty good.

Room is good but located in a heavy traffic area. We have experience hell like traffic. Bus, car and commercial vehicle all park illegally by the small road blocking entrance to the hotel. And worst, this hotel rise the price during prayer season. Their staff cannot handle booking properly. We was made to wait for almost 2 hours on arrival because they can't found my booking even after I show them my booking on my phone. We arrived at 2 pm but allowed into our room only at 4 pm. Very poor service most likely they delay desperately because the room wasn't ready..

Service excellent. Staff receiptionist was nice and very welcome Located near to market. And location its self sometimes not easy to find. As several times grab driver cannot find the location.. This hotel located like in a chinatown. So to moeslem not recommended to stay here as its not easy to find halal food eventhough many hawker or food stall nearby For the hotel its self. Its so sad that the resto at rooftop hotel not allowed to come in!! Even we just want to take picture from rooftop they not allow me to come in. So rude!! And for the room it self. Standard amenities are provided. But sadly even there is television in room. But we cannot watch it as no channel TV installed/provided

It is located in a very strategic place with direct view of Kek Lol Si temple and nearby Bukit Bendera. It was a convenient place to shop for fresh local foods and it is just 2 min away from the Air Itam Market. Parking is limited and bedroom was clean and big spacious bed. Buffet breakfast is kind of upsetting as very less choices and most of the food was gone when we arrive for breakfast around 9.15am. Need an improvement on the buffet menu as well as the location for breakfast is too small.

Stayed for 4 days in this hotel. Room was quite spacious and clean but hotel location was inconvenient since its located nearby market & hawker stall. Hotel parking is like first come first serve. The hotel management should allocate parking for their customers.

Highly recommended. Super convenient. next to it have a clinic, food is aplenty just from walking out or even if you are too lazy, you can have steamboat on the rooftop. Simply just amazing

Very convenient to go for breakfast at Ayer Itam Market. Nearby Kek Lok Si and short drive to the tram station to Penang Hill

No complains for the price paid. Reasonably clean and does the job for a couple of nights. Housekeeping did an amazing job but found the receptionists wanting. As the first in the firing line representing the hotel, it was a let down. No smiles or friendliness.

I really enjoyed the stay, a lot of of things to eat near by and it is a very convenient location for me.

Very bad serivce hotel service. Requested for 500ml mineral water which was usually provided, but the hotel front desk refused to give! Seriously.. How much water I can drink a day?

Was there for some event, hotel is clean n good, only the ironing a bit troublesome with the melted ironing board cover stuck to the iron.. Hope hotel can clear them up. Tq. Will go again.

A clean and convenient place to stay for discovering around Ayer Itam area (like Kek Lok Si, Ayer Itam dam, Ayer Itam Market and Penang Hill) Booked a Superior Room during Chinese New Year at rm 260 a night with 1 King sized bed. Amenities are quite complete (except no pool as this is a 3 star hotel). Food selections are Excellent as the Market nearby is filled with local delicious local delicacy. If we wanted to get some International Cuisine there is a McDonald's around 1.5 km away. There is also a Mall (All Season's Place) around the same distance with Starbucks, Burger King, Sushi King, Sushi Mentai and other foods establishment. There is Mr DIY and Hero Mart in it too. Recommended place to stay in Ayer Itam area.

We have been staying in this hotel regularly since last year(more than 30 days in total). This week we stay in this hotel again for few days but we only request for room make up for 1 day. So there's no replenish of waters and etc to us. Only by our request. As such, all water requested never been charged until today. When 3 bottles of mineral water reach our room, Rm6 will charge to us as mentioned. Very disappointed.

Only went in the morning for Dim Sum. It's one of the best Dim Sum in Penang to me now. Ample parking available, need to be early as it's quite crowded during the weekends

Excellent Stay! Very clean, hygienic, and spacious room. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The window view is nice, the king size bed is wide but short. Fan noise is quite loud. Toilet basin is out of the toilet (beside the room door). Overall is clean. Some Car parkings are below the building, not fully covered.

room and amenities consider good for the rates paid for. one thing which sucks... parking which is a hassle way of paying.. using CC.. very bad idea .. where there is no alternative... otherwise would hv given 5 star rating

Friendly staff Good service

Superbly spacious rooftop bar with three beers and mocktails. Nice astroturf; nice to kick off your shoes. Perfect for private functions. Menu is rather limited, and food is simple and crispy. Service is decent, portion size is fair, prices are reasonable, views are good.

Hotel location is very good for those who like to go Kek Lok Si Temple and surrounded by lots of breakfast/lunch variety.Nightime is a very quiet surrounding and morning with a good hillview and also nice temple view if you get the good room view. Room is clean, but i doubt they did change the quilt cover, there is a smell on the quilt cover and pillow cover.

Nothing special about this hotel. We stayed here for the convenience of being in the center of Air Itam. We were there visiting family. Location is perfect for us. Room is spacious but the bathroom is a wet bathroom. The sink is located in the room by the room entrance door. The bathroom has frosted glass. Hotel room may be good for 1 person as it lacks of privacy when using the shower or toilet.

Room clean and comfortable, did not get 4 stars due to noisy air extractor in shower. Not really a problem just keep the lights off when shower. Young enthusiastic staff try their best and genuinely helpful.

So far so good. Nice location. Not sure if the room is sound prove. Room design is just simple and nice. Entrance is a bit far inside. No sign board showing where is the hotel lobby entrance.

Room is clean but breakfast not inclusive. Feel sightly high. But location wise is good and have sufficient parking. The window from my room needs to be clean as covered by dirt. Wasted the nice view.

The room was clean and comfortable. But What makes our stay there even more memorable was the great service and the extra miles from the Counter Staffs that made our simple day marvellous. A great shout out to Dai Shu, Shirlyn and Jia Xin and the few other Indian girls who were on duty during our stay there! Well done! 👏 keep up the very good work! 👍 thumbs 👍 up!

- before check in we already paid the full amount, and were given 2 rooms side by side, but when we check in, one of the room were changed to ither floor without notice. - this is unacceptable as we already paid, not just booking. Hotel staff keep saying they only block the room for us, not confirm, but the payment receipt clearly stated the room number. - Poor drainage in toilet. Floor was stagnant with water after bath. Even after long hour the water is still there. - Moderate wifi signal strength. Were staying there for 2 days, and had experienced at least 3 times where no signal at all, and poor connection when connecting to wifi with ipad. - Overall room were clean, and good location, easy access to air itam market and a lot of eating places.

Poor service I take 2 rooms very smelly toilet water stackNess. Two day's I stay this hotel two days also same breakfast pls lah u all take money not free. Parking also problem. Improper security.
