😐 There’s alot of rooms for improvement for this place although i kinda love the environment but the service is really the prob of this cafe. Food is just normal, coffee not too bad. But the service crew was just cannot make it. Waited almost an hour for food and there are time they limit hours of sea... People often mention good, nice, drinks, cafe, time, coffee, visit, stars, Nice, taste,

The very first photo was taken on August last year 2022, that piece of lamb was massive and certainly I was a very satisfied customer. Taste was top notch as well. Pepper dipping sauce was good, not too spicy. However the lamb was grilled and marinated to perfection that you didn’t need any sauce at all. Today, and my previous visit, I was and am extremely disappointed with the cut. The lamb was so tiny, full of fat, bones and under grilled, the pepper dipping sauce was overwhelmingly spicy that it burns the stomach after. Please change the chewed up looking menu as well. It’s terrible that you keep offering it to your customer. The drinks and cakes are maintaining the standard but the food standard has dropped significantly.

Overall: 3.5 stars Food: 4 stars Coffee and drinks were quite good above average I would say Marshmallow ice cream is a special treat (but very sweet) so if you are not into sweet things will recommend you to skip this. But if you are into sweet things then it’s a must try, very interesting. Ambience: 5 stars Clean, minimalist type of cafe, cozy and comfortable. Service: 3 stars Not the most friendly staff and they are quite in their own zone. More like a self service kind of cafe. Price: $$ Quite expensive but it’s still worth a try. However, don’t think I will be back soon. Unless I have outstation friends who wants to try it then maybe I’ll consider coming back. Good for photos though.

Parking is not an issue. Reservation is allowed to avoid long waiting time as the crowd is always there. Instagramable place. Nice outdoor bench with standing fans available. Nachos and swissroll tastes not bad. Drinks tastes average and would be nice if ice can be lesser.

Nice ambiance but can be a little noisy when packed. Clean washrooms, nice foamy handwash. Ordered Long Black a touch of bitter, a Kambucha and Nachos. Prefer Beef for the Nachos instead of Chicken. Overall taste is okay. Lots of plant with inside and outside dining area. Very popular with family with children, friends and dating couples. Staff, polite, friendly and attentive. Recommend.

Amazing food with great ambiance, very clean and comfortable place to dine in. Good lighting too. There is a clothing store inside the cafe too. I will definitely come back again, their food is good :) matcha is not sweet which I like. I requested to oat milk at additional RM3.

A gem of a place, hidden in a unassuming neighbourhood.... Probably a place you'd probably would think of. But, you'll love it. The ambience, the chatter, the noise and the jazz or modern new age music in the background. So, if you want good coffee, a decent meal, and you want to be around people, this is your next Instagramable place to be! You'll come again! Sure one! Got long tables for groups (per SOP) too! See you soon!

Cute cafe but needs some improvement in how it’s run. You have to order at the counter but the line to order jams the line to be seated. Also they wanted to know where we were sitting and we were only able to point and we were sharing a table. The food was mediocre but the drinks were delicious. I loved my Matcha Meiko. I wonder if they could switch the drink containers to glass and reuse for environmental purpose since they sell lots of plants and seem to be eco friendly.

It's ok place. Bright and airy looking. However it's noisy and there are a lot of flies. Food is so so, not fantastic, and not a lot of variety. They loosely enforce social distancing, by splitting families but will allow people with no seats to walk about here and there to annoy other customers.

Nice and cozy Cafe. Love the big tree in front of this Cafe. They serve a variety of fancy drinks in "CAN". To my surprise, they also serve fresh brew filtered coffee which is amazing. Food were also quite delicious. Will visit again next time to try their dessert. My daughters were aiming for the s'mores.

First off, kudos to the drinks we ordered: served in a CAN as the name of the cafe suggested. The Yuzu Yuzu and Springtime (priced at RM15 each) are both very refreshing and aesthetically pleasing 😊 Reservations are recommended, as when we arrived there were no seats inside. However, we got a nice outdoor seat under the tree which beats any seat inside tbh. The drinks are served relatively quickly, but we have to wait 40-50 minutes for the food to arrive due to a large crowd. Now on to the food: the char-grilled chicken with brown sauce is quite savory, but they could have been a little more generous with the brown sauce. The Black Aussie Style Chicken Rustic Roll is a fried chicken burger. The chicken also could have been more generous. All in all, good second time here and will be back to try their other items in the future ☺️

First time try here. Food wise are nice and good. However drinks wise beside the presentation of it is great for photography but the taste are average. In term of price, it is pricy per meal per pax. I do recommend you make reservations before you come, else in the busy time you be hard to get table and you have a long waiting time. In term of food serving speed, you do expect to wait 35 mins to 50 mins and they also don't serve the food together for same table. You will someone finish your meal while your partner food yet to arrive 😒 end up you will be here for quite a while. As for parking, you have to park along the road side. Do park at safe area instead of your convenient. Cheers 🥂

Best dessert is the smores with double choc icecream👍. Savoury food is delicious as well but the egg dishes could be more seasoned(personal preferance). Nachos is amazing. So is the ponzu salmon. But its the dessert that will make me visit again.

Found another interesting looking cafe in Penang. This peculiar cafe comes with a little campervan outside that serves takeaways or customers that want to drink outdoors. They do have a dine in section & frankly we prefer inside - more comfortable & cool. 😁 You can order a meal here but we only went for a coffee & matcha latte with a lotus slice crisps served with a cheese & wasabi mayo - they’re pretty good! Overall, we definitely enjoyed the environment & the coffee & the snack we had was good!

Can you get coffee here? From the truck outside. Some very unique ideas and designs, with exquisite presentation. Coffee is decent but takes a while, the rest is adequate. The cold drinks come in a fancy disposable plastic can, which is cool as you can crack it open like a can (get it, get it?), although I'd be fine with a reusable glass. Their take on cream puffs looks amazing, but they're more like caramel cheese balls. The pastries need a pick up - bread is flat and would be better toasted, and the puffy part of the cream is a little off. Decor is superb and environment is nice, with a kitsch clothing store in the corner. Getting to the place and finding parking is a little tricky if you're coming off Green Lane. There's some roadside parking around, but it's a little cramped and access isn't the best. Can they do it? Yes they can!

Environment is nice only if u sit outside. Food just ok, but improvement needed, more ingredients/ portion maybe? I’m ok to wait, but please have a proper sitting area for those who waiting to be seated.

Project CAN is a nice place to hangout with friends or family. They serve a wide variety of western food, quality is good and mostly consistent. Their drinks and desserts are served in their own unique can. Would be great if they could send out the food altogether rather than one dish at a time, other than that I have no other complaints.

Unique experience for the cafe. It's not too crowded and a good place to meet friends and chat. Tried their tiramisu. They have a resident cat that greets you the door and allows scratches. Atmosphere does feel quite japanese.

We ordered Grilled chicken and Salmon. Need wait for long time for the salmon. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the food. Grilled chicken is undercooked and they recooked it and the salmon when you ate it smell fishy. Please increase your quality of foods. The environment and the drink quite nice.

Only ordered drinks here and I must say the Springtime drink was the best! It has Jasmine Tea, Fresh Squish Lemonade and Schweppes Bitter Lemon which was so refreshing on a sunny day! The houjicha was not up to our liking as we found it too diluted and not sweet. Overall, we love the cozy al fresco environment and also the cute resident kitty who stole our hearts🐱

had a fantastic experience at this cafe! The atmosphere was delightful, offering a choice between indoor and outdoor seating. The food was a treat, especially the mouthwatering bolognese fries. As for the pricing, it seemed quite reasonable. Overall, a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with a wonderful ambiance.

Food was decent and portion size is good. Drinks were a little bit disappointing and expensive. Nice place to gather with friends because ample of space. Parking is decent. There's about 8 parking slots behind the shop and you can park around the area.

Nice little café with decent food and drink. The staff were nice too. It rained heavily during our visit but they allowed us to borrow an umbrella to use (and we will return it on the next trip). The place is also photograph friendly which is nice for social media enthusiasts.

There are many big tables to accommodate big groups (can fit 8-10 pax). Adding on to the nice atmosphere & a small band playing during lunch time. Such a vibeee. Perfect location for a catchup with a friend. There is parking a the back of the cafe (might be limited), else you can park at the residential area at the back of the cafe, or the road in front of it. Food and drinks are 👍

If you are looking for a nice "atas" place to dine then you can consider Project CAN. Overall the place is just lovely and feels so good to be around at. I went in the afternoon so I bet at night it will even be nicer with all the lights on. Definitely very instagramable place. Food wise, all taste good too. We ordered Australian Basil Burst with Mushroom and Shakshouka. Then for snacks we ordered Truffle fries. Everything is delicious. Even the dessert such as tiramisu and the matcha ice cream covered by marshmellow. Parking can be a bit challenging so you may need to park at the roadside further away and walk. Lastly, about the pricing. It is quite expensive imho so this place is not where you can visit regularly with your family. 4 of us went and we only ordered 2 main meal and it cost me RM150+ so you can imagine if everyone ordered a meal each with drinks and some dessert. In summary, worth checking out at least once then visit according to your budget if it allows. 😉

Ordered hor drinks but the drinks were not hot enough, would expect a hot drink to be served at least at 60c° and above. The bird nest was like Okonomiyaki, the deep fried shredded leek added a delicate flavour and texture to the dish. The surface of the bath chicken was too salty.

It's quite hard to get a seat when i went. The outdoor seating is great but very warm with the hot 🌞 in PG. Just went for snack time. Overall experience was average. 2nd visit for lunch, the food tastes normal. Pricing is quite high.

Good dining environment, just a little bit noisy when too many customers. Service crew is friendly, they will help to open the door upon arrival and arrange a table for you. Food tastes delicious and coffee is nice. But the parking spaces behind the building are very limited and it is also hard to find parking nearby.

Frozen Smore is very special. Coffee taste not bad but the ice dark chocolate taste a bit plain. Service is good. Pasta i ordered taste not bad. Price is average. Atmosphere is great. Very instagrammable. Very nice to take photographs. Every corner is nice for photo.

Nice café with a small boutique inside. Not many options for drinks but the food is nice with reasonable price (around 15-30rm). We ordered chicken & pasta, taste nice. Smoked salmon salad is a bit salty but it's still okay. Mocha tastes kinda plain for us, don't really recommend. Staffs are kinda all over the place, but in general we were served well. The view would be nicer during golden hour or sunset.

Nothing bad comment at this moment, service was good. Foods are also fresh and delicious, price is at intermediate range. For gals there are romantic place, for guys ....came to pay the bill.

Ambience was fantastic, deco was outstanding. Small boutique and accessories was wonderful for my wife to kill some times while waiting. In fact the waiting time was a bit long. 30 minutes upon ordering. But, my wife didn't notice and hence no complaint. We initially prefer outdoor seating but unfortunately raining. 5 stars for ambience Chicken with special sauce was outstanding. Even u can taste the sweetness of the sauce from the fresh. WOW. 5 stars. The evg bunny just normal cafe standard. Nothing to shout about. 3 stars Latte was special. Somehow a bit twist from normal latte. Above average. 4 stars. Tomato soup also nice compliment to my meal. 4 stars Total bill RM68. Value for money.

Food is really good as usual (I recommend Bolognese Chicky Meatballs), though I have a few suggestions for CAN to achieve tip top standard in the area of service: 1. If your indoor seating is full, try to address your new customers before they enter so as to avoid the awkwardness. 2. Repeat your customers' orders before issuing the bill. 3. Try to give your customers a gentle reminder to shake their can drinks when you serve them, regardless of whether they know to or not. 4. If a dish is gonna take longer to prepare, inform your customer ahead so that they can manage their expectations. 5. Beef bacon was slightly overcooked during my visit today. Hopefully you can feedback to your kitchen staff. Thank you 😊 Food: 4.5/5 Ambience: 5 for outdoor seating Service: 4/5 (there's room for improvement)

[Plus] Chic & cosy ambient Coffee specialty This place has people queue up around 9:50am. If come around 10:30am on weekend, you might need to sit on the bench outside. Btw, brewed coffee with steamed milk foam here is up to expectation, taste superb!

Literally the worst SOP for reservations. You have to fill up a lengthy form and get the vaccination screenshots of every person who will be dining in just to place a booking. Mind you, the reservation is not confirmed until late evening. So you'll be left wondering if the whole paperwork you've done would amount to anything. Also, there's a one hour dine-in time, which I was only informed upon showing up for the reservation. Lucky for us, there weren't new customers coming in so we got to stay for an additional hour. Food was okay, drinks were decent but gimmicky. Pricing is on the expensive side. They're called CAN cause they literally can the drinks before serving. Makes for a nice picture, but that's bout it. Nice picturesque spot at the Ghee Hiang garden, though parking will be hard to find.

Great ambience. Love the greens and love the plants. Have learned about this place for some time through bloggers as it has nicely decorated outdoor space where one can take IG photos. The food looks great and smells good. But it get cold very fast. The grilled chicken smells excellent. But the photo illustrated on the menu is not what you can get. In their menu they show three small servings of sauces but in actual you can only choose one.

9/10 Instaworthy spot. Spectacular exterior walkways with a van outside selling coffee. When I was there, lights sparkled across the trees so it's pretty eye cooling. However, limited food options. The strawberry sodas or something tasted normal like other shops. The only uniqueness is the can.

Decent experience & ambience. Much suitable to snap some cute photos for your social media. A small little clothing shop (for ladies) is in the premise. Ordered 6 items. With their respective remarks 1. Tiramisu - takeaway, yet to try (*will update?) 2. Biscoff cheesecake - abit too sweet for more liking, but isn't what biscoff is all about? The other family members said it's nice. 3. Biscoff creampuff (8 small puffs/ set) - quaint & well more of less same remarks I had for item No.2 4. S'mores for 2 flavors (chocolate & Niko Neko matcha) - the s'mores were prepped when we're in the clothing shop. So we might've missed out the best tasting period. Regardless, nice touch of concept would like to give another try? But maybe asking the biscuit crumbles to be separated out. (It's a bit heavy on the sweetness level for me again....) 5. Mocha - mocha. 6. Specialty drinks (yuzu yuzu) - it's refreshing & zesty. Sweet but not overpowering. I'm hoping for another visit soon for the food or breakfast.

Nice atmosphere. I had the soup of the day which was mushroom, very good. The Bird's Nest was an interesting dish although a bit stodgy/carby despite its airy appearance. Ice latte was good although I'm not keen on the gimmick of presenting it in a plastic "can"... That would make sense for takeaway but not dine-in.

  • 4/5 Hean Eng Y. 3 years ago on Google
Quite an interesting cafe with modern simplicity design. The foods good especially with interesting contrast incorporated to showcase the main ingredient. Coffee is good but could improve with more selection and roast profiles. Basically, good place to be and there's room for improvements.
