Food was amazing but the attitude in that place made it TERRIBLE. They were sour and looked like they did not want to be there and its such a punishment...won't be seeing me there ever again no matter how good the food was

I'm totally unhappy about the way the food taste, because it was overcooked and your squidheads was so dry. In the post I loved to come here. But I doubt if I will ever again. Because the staff don't pay attention to detail.

Slowest service i have ever seen in my life

I wanted some calamari, but not chips. They do a medium calamari and stir fry veg. It was very yummy and just what I wanted. It was so yummy, I forgot to take a pic until I was half way through. The portions were very generous too. Just R70 for my filling bounty! How about that. Time wise, about 20 minutes from order to collection. They weren't busy though, only 4 orders. Not sure about when it's busy, but none of these food shops at the Seefront have much kitchen space, they galleys really. The big franchise restaurants do and have huge menus...... This is a quick fish and chips, beach style and it more than lives up to this. Was not greasy at all either. Very good light meal choice. I saw others eating their fish and chips and the fish looked very yummy ...maybe tomorrow. Great staff too. Very friendly. Cold drinks are ice cold too and there's plenty outside covered seating. ❤️

Agree with another comment on sultry attitude and unfriendly service. On entering all staff members are chatting at the back and even though they see you enter, they ignore you until you actually call out to them, only then will one very reluctantly move to the front to assist. Third (and last) visit, same attitude everytime. The food is good, but the service is just sad. Does the owner even read the comments?

You must be really proud of your oily raw underprepared calamari. Good that this happens now so people are warned.

Not good. The crispy prawns were raw. No salt, serviettes or forks to eat our fish with. Would of taken the food back but we had already driven away .

Would not recommend.

Best chips in town and do not forget fish

Busy for a reason. The perfect place for a snack. Large variety to choose from. Well priced.
