The game drive is nice and the guide is great. The way complaints are handled is a joke. Talked to one of the persons who does the bookings and explained why we rebooked to the main reserve: - Given the weather (rain), instead of a 10-15min drive through the camp you have to drive yourself for 35min around the camp. Also transfers are only available very limited from 10:30-14 which does not leave a lot of time to enjoy the facilities (like Gym, Spa etc). Unfortunately that was not communicated before and came as a big disappointment. At the village without a transfer, there is nothing to do or to see when it is raining. Wouldn’t recommend staying there. - The barn itself looks nice, but the toilette is directly attached to the room, without a door. Would be nice to know before booking. - The place itself has a limited view vs the main reserve. Cero acknowledgement from the “booking manager” which is quite disappointing for a place that charges premium prices.

If you have game drives and are not afraid of off-road, request Gerret as your driver. He knows much about all animals and plants in the reservation. He will take you as close to animals as possible.

We had a wonderful cheese platter! A big plus is that they cater for persons with a gluten allergy - which is awesome since very few restaurants do!

We loved visiting the lodge and there was so much for the kids to do. My only negative was the direction and we travelled in a sedan vehicle and not a 4x4 so it landed up being a disaster of a drive. The direction from Cape Town to the lodge from the lodges address we were five got us to the main lodge and not the family lodge which was disappointing. The long round about way we had to travel was not pleasant. At the lodge though it was great and our kids fell in love with the local dog Max. They still talk about him months after our visit.

I rarely write negative reviews as we are passionate about Tourism in the Garden Route, but it is so sad when local visitors are made to feel unwelcome! We stopped for a quick breakfast and coffee as we love to explore over weekends, but allthough only about 3 tables we're seated we were made to feel "honoured" that a table was made available for us. When we realised that the only breakfast option available was priced at R220 per person,no other menu options was available until 12.00.This is an exquisite venue and we refer visitors who want to experience the Garden Route often, but customer service needs urgent attention.

We visited Botlierskop twice. Frist time for a unforgetable safari tour and second time for horse riding. The whole staff at botlierskop camp are very polite and the activities are excellent organized. We also had Lunch at the camp and the food is prepared with so much love. Specially thanks to Jame - he is a great Tour Guide 🙌

The restaurant at the village was amazing. We had the T-bone and it was sublime. Definitely worth the visit and there is an amazing kids play area.

Best place to stay for a complete safari experience. Ask for the safari guide Richard. He is absolutely the best for your safari tour.👍

Stunning venue, good food especially the pizzas, marvelous view over the valleys, upmarket decor and feel - why is this place not crowded to capacity? Because it should be! Highly recommended! Make a reservation though - we were just lucky to get a table as walk-ins.

I tried a day safari and it was nice except the vehicle we rode a large truck which was extremely uncomfortable. You will bounce violently for the smallest bumps. If you do not hold tightly you might fall outside. It was a cumbersome 4 hours journey. The guide was very nice but the vehicle is for commercial use not for humans. Now I am suffering from bad back pain. If I was aware I would not take this ride. The people who rode the land cruiser were better off given its moderate elevation from the ground unlike the truck. Also the Land Cruiser seats more comfortable than the truck seats. I don’t know based on what they have chosen this vehicle for us. What caughted my attention is the passengers in the three land-cruisers were Europeans while all passengers in the truck were Arabs……..!!!!! Maybe coincidence?

Lovely, tranquil. Richard did our game drive, and he was great - kind and super passionate! The rooms are stylishly decorated, and the fireplace in the room was such a treat and absolute heaven. Loved the French press coffee in the room. Healing earth amenities was so wonderful to see this brand here. The restaurant's food quality is average. The pathway lighting from the main entrance to our room could be improved. So many things we did not have time to explore or participate in, but will go back.

Once again we had a lovely time at Bottelierskop. This time we stayed in a child friendly room “with a view”. The staff were very friendly and always available to assist. The breakfasts were awesome with a great variety to choose from.

Classy venue for family celebration of a romantic escape. The food was brilliant and lots of it. Ideal venue for youngsters to run around and play too as massive play area and pool. Pity not closer to mossel bay we would go more often.

Oasis away from it all. Only went to restaurant and they kindly offered us pizzas as the kitchen was closed. The best pizzas we have had in the Greater Mossel Bay area.

👍👍 I enjoyed my time and food at 34 Degrees South. If you sit outside, you get treated to awesome views too of what can be described like Venice. Towards the latter part of the day, you'll see a gorgeous South African sunset (if there are no clouds). I had some wine by the glass, one of the few places...
