Excelent location, excelent menu, excelent staff.. the owner is such a nice guy. Easy recommendation. Tried snails for the first time, tasty believe it or not. Good price/quality ratio.

What a wonderful discovery we made, finding Au Clos Napoleon after a morning tasting wines in the region. The restaurant was recommended to us by the tourist's information center in Gevrey-Chambertain (not as a tourist trap but genuinely liked by the people who work there), and we just went to try. It's a real gem in Bourgogne. The restaurant is super nice, and we can see and feel the genuine atmosphere from the region and the connection between gastronomy and wine cultures. Their menu is quite elaborated, and we chose the 3 courses menu (and the kids menu) and it was a delight. They also have a nice wine shop within the building with a broad variety and fair prices. So we spent a lot during this visit - but happily did. We'll definitely recommend it to our friends and return when we have the opportunity to visit the region again.

Wow, what a rare find. In the middle of a small village such a great meal. Everything thing was top notch. Don’t missout on the house specialities of eggs, and their sardines. Also the meat was great and wine list superb. Above all kids under six get their meal for free.

The menu at Au Clos Napoleon showcased the best of Burgundian flavors and culinary craftsmanship. And the wine selection at Au Clos Napoleon was exceptional, perfectly complementing our meals.

Always a pleasure to take la route des grands vins. To stop in Fixin, in the middle of the vineyards. To enjoy the beautiful landscape. This bar restaurant is well located, a bit further from main road, a bit higher on the hill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And a great selection of wines.

What a nice place, but what a disappointment too. So expensive for such simple food and worst of all is the time you wait for the disrespectful waiter to take your order. There are other places to go and we won’t go back there for sure

Fantastic restaurant which from start to finish impressed. The steak tartare for starters was top quality and the crème brulee was one of the best I have had. Service by all staff exceptional.
