I wouldn't say it was a top experience tonight. We arrived at 18 so our company of 6 was one of the firsts there. Even so we got our food (after asking if they forgot us) at 19:30. With two kids with us hungry it was a bit of an hassle. And because the food arrived so late we didn't really have time for dessert which we had planned. Food wise I would say the smoked salmon with asparagus, entrecote, and filet mignon was good. The kids took chicken nuggets and they where homemade but very dry. The tapas plate and drink list was nice.

A little pricy and not so special (vegan burger). Though the staff was friendly and quick and there were a few vegetarian/vegan options available which were clearly indicated on the menu. Nice atmosphere as well!

Dinner with friends, at the end of a great day spent around these beautiful nations. Special place, very nice internally, with a courtyard where you can eat under a summer blue sky and with various very nice decorations. We ate a tapas appetiser with local products. We continued with 3 second courses: lamb ribs, pork stew and grilled pork served all three with excellent side dishes and in the centre of the table a large portion of chips, as per Belgian tradition that is respected. Excellent beer list, for all tastes. Very good desserts: chocolate mousse with crumble, lemon cake with meringue and a fruit cake. Delicious and plentiful. A great way to finish a great dinner. Very courteous and helpful staff, everything very clean and quick in service. Congratulations! I hope to come back soon and be able to taste other great courses!

Amazing food amazing place and very nice servers. We were a group of 12 we have had reserved in advance. And we also choose our food prior to arrival. Food is great they also have a all you can drink option alcohol free 7.50€ and you can have their fantastic ginger iced tea. I had the vegan yellow curry with basmati rice. It was tasty and full of flaaaavour. Just amazing. I recommend it. I will definitely go back. Prices are ok. Location is ok. Seating is ok. Toilets could be cleaner. Drinks are a bit overpriced. The menu is great. Vegetarian and vegan options. Big plates. You can come hungry. Perfect Ambiente for dining. We'll go back.

We've had some good meals here over the years, but today was a little disappointing. My daughters tabouleh was served pretty much raw and the general standard of the food was not up to the standard we've been used to. Perhaps it was just an off day...

I just loved it! Such a friendly people, they make you feel very comfortable. We ordered entrecote and it was delicious. They have also very delicious home made mayonnaise with tasty french fries. If you like fruity but not too sweet beer try their IV Saison. I would also recommend their Tapas mix for 2, good quality selection to enjoy.

Came here on a Saturday evening at the recommendation of our hotel front desk. The service and the food were both great. Expect to order your steaks in the french style, bleu, saignant, etc.. mine was a bit overdone but it was still good. My wife had the au poivre and I had the béarnaise. I liked the au poivre better but the steak stood well on its own as well. Frites are served family style in a bowl for the table and there was plenty to be had. The oude gueuze was fantastically sour and cold and refreshing. De Graal was listed on the menu as "ginger" but neither of us tasted any of that. Still a good Belgian beer. Good food, friendly atmosphere, family friendly. Would visit again for sure.

A local suggested this restaurant for dinner and food was really delicious! The sirloin with pepper sauce was sublime (lots of fries were served as well) and the lemon tart was so tasty and delicate! I will come back for sure on my next trip to Gent! Super friendly and nice staff!

Wonderful meal here. Stoverij was tender, tasty and fantastic. Chocolate sauce on the dame blanche was also amazing.

I've been here twice so far and I absolutely love it! Anything that we ate was so tasty. Their wines are also great. (I love the fact that they write bier and wine suggestions that go with the dish.) Waitstaff is also very kind and helpful (with a real smile on their face). I think I'll eat there so many times more.

We were a group of 14 and we had such a fun dining experience here. Speedy and friendly service, always with a smile on the face. Excellent selection of beers. Loved their vegetarian food options which were just as outstanding as the rest of the menu, full of flavours and massive portions.

Tourist Review: we came to visit Belgium from the US and this restaurant was definitely a highlight. We didn’t make a reservation but they squeezed us in - it was a short 15 min walk from the Ghent Marriott. We have twin 9 year olds and our son is autistic with tactile issues but the meal was top notch and they were incredibly accommodating. The adult portions were rather big, which was surprising (we’ve been all over Europe and Belgium was the most “American” sized meals we’ve seen) so keep that in mind. I felt bad leaving so much behind. All in all it was great and we will definitely return.

We tried to organize a group dinner. All went well, but organizing the food and menu choices was complicated and some changes last minute. Food was good, service staff did an amazing job on that evening though things were a bit chaotic.

Restaurant for all tastebuds, also vegan and gluten free dishes. Nice portions, pleasent setting, friendly waiters. We were 5 persons and were all very satisfied.

We were a large group. They offered a nice service. Quite hidden you may have trouble finding it. I loved their food too.

The place is nice and I’m loving the vibe but the food is not up to my expectations- the steak was overcooked for medium rare in my opinion. It was very tough and chewy😅

Food was good, had the pork cheek stew with fries which could use a little more feistyness, the crème brûlée was nice and creamy. The service was disappointing giving that from the 'all inclusive drink menu' 2 of the 5 beer types were not available leaving only pils, IPA and cherry beer which don't quite suit the stew. When asked for a replacing suitable beer we were left out to dry saying no replacement could be provided for. Overall good experience

Nice selection of food and drinks. All dishes are freshly prepared and taste very good. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. In the summer, it is worthwhile to sit in the garden. The restaurant is suited for families and gluten-free options are available. We have been there several times and never got disappointed!
