Muralla de Girona - sector nord

Tourist attraction

👍👍 Short section of the wall of Girona; well restored and maintained, with a couple of stairs to access and a fantastic view over the cathedral. It's worth going there early in the morning, when the sun's rays rise and there's still not much noise on the street... It has a magical touch. Free pass, no... People often mention city,

A small chunk of the Muralla (Wall) of Girona, it can be accessed from either side via staircases. It offers a decent view of the cathedral and a good chunk of the city. You can skip this part if you want to optimize the time, the main poart of the Wall has better views and you won't be missing much.

Medieval walls from the 14th century that expanded the Roman walls from the 1st century. It reaches 60 meters in height in some of its sections and has a length of approximately 2 kilometers. They are accessible from various points offering exceptional panoramic views of the city.

An old city wall, in good condition that you can walk the incline up on either end of, or else climb the spiral stairs in the middle of to go up. Walking atop of the wall, there's views over the city. Up the top, there's also a bench if you want to sit back for a while and enjoy the view. There's also a small quiet park next door.

It's very pleasant to walk at the top of the wall in the little walkway which almost goes around the town

It is great for a walk, in continuation of the park with ruins in the area, quite well maintained and with views of the city Mandatory if you visit Girona It is 15 minutes from the historic center, I recommend passing through both places

😠 I don't know why people say this is a beautiful place worth visiting! This is just a metal bridge (for pedestrians), nothing more than that. Even though it was made by the guy who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris; guess because of that.
